Our guide and driver Andre was great and gave a thorough tour of the island. However at the end we were told don’t worry about getting back to the boat on time and felt our transportation disappeared. They take you to an area with a private beach at the end for a while that is 2.4 miles from boats. Walking back when we couldn’t get a ride was not fun.

Your transportation is available to you on call after the tour. Whenever you are ready to go back to the ship you can let a representative know and we dispatch the shuttle to come pick you up if it was not already on standby. You are absolutely not required to walk back to your ship. You will always have a ride back to your ship as long as you pay the shuttle fee. This review does not reflect what we offer to our customers. The ROUNDTRIP shuttle fee is $10 and WILL bring you from and back to your ship. Shuttle is on standby after the tour’s ending at the beach.

Great Tour Guide but Jeeps Need Cleaning

Great tour guide! Jeeps were dirty and showed maintenance issues. Couldn't really hear tour guide on walkie talkies. Not much to see. Also, check in was chaotic!! No organization or understanding of where to stand to check-in.

Our Jeeps are throughly cleaned after every tour and rental. The walkie talkie issue was because of low battery and was replaced immediately at the following stop when told about it. With 6 ships in port check in will be more busy than usual. Nevertheless it is always organized.

Driving around St. Maarten!

We had a blast driving through the island ourselves, but with Andre leading the way! He took us to the major island highlights with stops along the way for shopping, refreshments, and even a chance to feed the iguanas! All of that, and we made it back to the ship in time; Highly recommend!

This tour was not at all what was described on the website's description of this excursion. I thought we'd hear about the history of both nations and go to designated spots, specific to this tour. We went through several crowded streets in town, we went through multiple slum areas, or what the tour guide would refer to as the ghetto. He kept asking us where we wanted to go, which really confused me, as we have never been here before, and it was the whole purpose of booking a "guided tour" excursion -- to be shown different areas of both sides of the island. One of my daughters got so car sick due to the constant accelerating and breaking and just the all around aggressiveness and extreme roughness of the tour. Personally, my neck hurt for three days after this tour. I know that it's something we won't ever have to do again and we just left feeling disappointed, as it was not at all what was described on the website. Thank you!

JEEP tour a must do!

We felt safe the whole time. We saw parts of the island we may not have otherwise ever seen and our tour guide was very informative and full of added surprises!
