Don't be in a rush; take your time and take in the views! If you're afraid of heights, try the shorter zip lines first. The big one is awesome, the start of the hill is the scariest. Grab a drink before and scream as loud as you can!

Zip line is high but smooth and not too fast for those fearing the ride. Don't chicken out you will enjoy the views on the way down.

Probably would not do again

We showed at at 1030 for an 1100 reservation. We were told we had to move and allow the cruise travelers to come. So they allowed at least 120 or more people go in front of us. For just the Flying Dutchman, we did not leave the park until after 2PM. I understand cruise travelers have a strict itinerary, but they should not allow reservations for other travelers at that time to accommodate them. It was a headache. Wish we would have booked a later time around 3 or 4PM

Very fun experience. Must do when in st Martin! There is a bar up top but honestly it wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. It had some resistance on it so that you’re not absolutely flying down. Only lasted about 45 seconds.

The zip line itself is exhilarating and super fun, but be prepared for long waits. We knew based off of previous reviews that the waits would be long, but if it were unexpected it could be frustrating. We waited almost 3 hours for our quick 45 second ride. The staff was very nice and helpful for the most part. $109 feels very expensive for the experience itself but it’s an activity to do once and say you’ve done it. Just go into it with a very lax timeline. There are drinks and a bathroom at the top while you wait for your turn on the zip line

No issues with Viator, and the experience was fun overall, but be prepared to spend ~2-3 hours waiting in various queues while at the park. It’s fun and pretty views but not worth the time or money if you’re debating between this activity and something else on the island.

Beautiful views and a thrilling zip line descent but a very frustrating experience because of disorganized management

Not worth the time or money. From the lack of a sign to let drivers know where to turn to the lack of direction as to what customers should do after entering the gate, I found this to be a very frustrating experience. I signed up and paid online in advance and assumed I could proceed straight to the chairlift. Not so – I had to supply additional information, sign a waiver, and have my photo taken before I could get a wristband which would allow me to proceed to the chairlift. All of those steps could have been accomplished online in advance so that I wouldn’t have had to stand in a long line before being permitted to proceed to the chairlift.

Great adventure but Overpriced

The Flying Dutchman staff were great, especially the guy who harnessed me in. He was calming and reassuring! The ride up on the ski lift was beautiful and the views were amazing. The Flying Dutchman was great but over priced. Definitely not worth $150

This was incredible! I am terrified of heights but managed to calm down enough to experience this. The operator was encouraging when he could see I was scared and encouraged me that the ride was safe and to close my eyes for a second but then open to see how beautiful it was. He was the only reason I calmed down; not sure what his name was but a great worker! I loved the experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!

We had a reservation for 11:00 am, thinking i would get ahead of all the cruise ship folks - WRONG! I was right in the middle of all the chaos i was trying to avoid. It was a great experience but i would recommend reserving a later time so that all the cruise ship buses are gone when you go. I would recommend reserving 1:00 pm or after. The zipline was awesome & they’ll let you ride the chairlift as many times as you want - but you can only zip once. In all, a good experience - would recommend!

The Flying Dutchman was a great zipline. I wish the description would have noted that it was only for that zipline and not for the other ziplines or tubing at the adventure park.

Very long wait, misinformed, never got to experience

Paid for excursion (No problem with Viator), it was the excursion company that we are upset about - Flying Dutchman. We were not told by the ticket office before riding chair lift that it was going to be a 3 hour wait to get on the zip line. Consequently, we did not get to experience the attraction (after waiting in the hot sun for 1.5 hours) noting we would not make it back in time for our ship departure from Port. We felt scammed by this tour operator - flying dutchman. Shame on them for not being transparent from the get go. They have a large sign posted - "NO REFUNDS" - now we know why!

My husband and I had a blast doing the zipline! A nice, slow lift up the mountain takes you to a panoramic mountain top bar. We enjoyed drinks before zip lining down. It was a lot of fun!

A chairlift up to another chair lift to the zip line $109.00 a person $50 a person would be a generous amount.First and only thing we saw was a self read museum in a 20’x20’ room.,Then the 2 chair lifts to the zip line .1 minute 5 seconds , only a 1 shot deal .Staff one you get your wristband are gone .Where was the rainforest , no walkways , signage ,you will be disappointed,GUARANTEED.Go to a nice dinner or almost anything else

The explorer and flying Dutchmen were both amazing. The views from the top were fantastic! The Flying Dutchman was the one of the best experiences and I would highly recommend it! We purchased the videos of our zip line experience, however after downloading these only one of the videos was complete. My partners was only half the video and did not show the landing. I have contacted the company directly and have not received a response from them which is quite disappointing.

Long wait times when you get to the top. No one tells you though. Almost 3 hrs! Got there at 2 pm. Left at 5 pm and the Flying Dutchman is a maybe 45 second ride. Otherwise a decent zip line. Staff was friendly.

Double check that the Flying Dutchman is actually running!!!

Beware! We booked this excursion to go in the Flying Dutchman. When we got there to check in we were inform that it was closed due to maintenance for several days. No mention on this website or their own website. We had no choice but to go on the other zip line. The guides were great but also beware once you reach the zip line you must put your water in a locker and there is no water available on the platforms on the 4 zip lines. The views were absolutely amazing!

We scheduled the zip line twice and each time they cancelled it. No the weather was not the reason but maintenance they said. We had driven all the way there the first time but they notified ahead of time the second time. Why would you book people for the experience when you know you are closing the ride for maintenance reasons? Very disappointing in customer service.

Broken zip lines; no information during 4 hour wait

Called and emailed two days prior to see if the anticipated high winds would affect the experience. No return call or email. Was not a weekend or holiday. The day of waited 4 hours up top to go down Flying Dutchman. Very hot- no places where you could get shade. They only sent a few people down Flying Dutchman. When we asked the employees why they said they didn’t know what was going on. After four hours they announced the devices didn’t work and we all had to take the chair lift back down. People were freaking out because they were going to miss their cruise ship departure. When I asked about a receipt or something to get my money back (approx $300 for 3 people) they said they don’t give receipts we should just trust them. We’ll see…
