What To Expect
Relax during your time onshore in St. Maarten and spend it at a beach resort with this shore excursion that includes a day pass to Divi Little Bay Resort.
After your cruise ship docks, take a taxi to the resort and head to the watersports roundabout to get set up with your included beach chair and umbrella. You’ll have until 5pm take advantage of the resort’s amenities, including bathrooms, shops, café, and restaurant.
Relax and sunbathe on the white sand beach, swim in the ocean, or snorkel with the provided gear. Other water activities available for rent while food and drinks are available for purchase.
After your cruise ship docks, take a taxi to the resort and head to the watersports roundabout to get set up with your included beach chair and umbrella. You’ll have until 5pm take advantage of the resort’s amenities, including bathrooms, shops, café, and restaurant.

Nice place, clean and friendly. Gated entry meant the beach was somewhat private. Parking was easy, some of our friends took a cab, and they let them out at the check-in. Great place, highly suggested for anyone wanting a peaceful beach day.

Viator misrepresented what was included at the resort and then when questioned even mentioned my handicapped “child” who a 25 year old adult with down syndrome. Did the resort attempt to make it better yes - but to be clear Viator is selling you a ticket to a FREE beach here. No pool is included. No hotel internet is included.
One and done for me and Viator.
Definitely a great option from the cruise port - 10 min taxi ride ($5 per person each way).
The beach is clean, beautiful and was not too crowded despite having two ships in port.
If you snorkel, this is a perfect option. There is an underwater sculpture garden 100 yards offshore and a sunken helicopter about 150 yards out.
The entire left side of the beach is rife with sealife and the water is crystal clear.
If you go, checking for the daily pass is NOT at the hotel. It's down on the left at the second roundabout.
They have a bar and restaurant on site as well. Chairs and an umbrella were included in the price

The underwater sculpture garden and clear waters make this a favorite spot for exploring beneath the surface, and it’s great to hear you found it easy to get there from the cruise port. Beach and area could use a cleaning, rescue boat was broken so no water sports except snorkeling was available with the pass. Great snorkeling spot.
No wifi available if you are on a beach pass, there isn’t even free wifi in the lobby.

It was a great beach for families. Less hassle to know you will get umbrellas. & lounge chairs which were needed for children.
Beautiful beach! Food choices were ok. The Mexican restaurant offered better choices.
Overall a great day visit for our large group.

If you’re not going to use the beach snorkel boogie board floaty fun stuff then simply head to the Divii Little Bay beach and rent directly from the resort for $5 a beach chair.

Excellent beach and resort. Only negative is waiting for food order, we cancelled order after an hour wait at beachfront eatery. This was end of March so crowds may have been more due to spring breaks. Not good snorkel area but beach is clean and not as crowded as beach near cruise port. Good value for that we paid includes umbrella and 2 beach chairs. Taxi service quick and $5 per person. No problem getting back to port as taxis waiting at drop-off area at hotel.

This is a rip off beware! They only have a small amount of chairs and umbrellas and when we arrived all gone no refunds and only hotel guests get chairs at the beach. If you book this you get last row of available!

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that all of our guests do have access to the beach chairs and umbrellas, as these are included in the price of the trip. The chairs and umbrellas are set up in advance, which means that placement works on a “first come, first served” basis. Guests who arrive earlier may get the front-row spots, while those arriving later will be placed in other rows.
We don’t control the exact positioning, but we always ensure that every guest on our trip has a chair and umbrella available.
Thought we were buying a package to include the pool. Got there and that was not right. Advertised pool and Beach Beach umbrellas were broken and had sand all over and it was so slow getting a guy to get us a chair. Waited in the restaurant 30 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese wasn't even melted. Would not suggest this place to anybody

Very nice day- staff at resort were professional and friendly and beach was perfect. The only minor negative was very slow service getting lunch, but they had a substantial influx of cruise ship guests

We did not need to prebook. It would have been cheaper to just pay at the resort.
There was no 4or5g and Internet was only available to residents of the resort. If you want quiet this resort was OK but we went to big bay the next day which was infinitely better.

This was a complete scam, you can go to the resort and rent a chair and umbrella for a $5 fee for each. My family of 3 paid for 3 passes for a total of $120, the biggest waste of our money. Viator should not list this as a resort pass or excursion, or should be more transparent about what this is. We will not be using Viator ever again after the experience after being customers for many years.

Nice beach. It's good to spend a day on this resort but it's expensive for the rental of chairs and umbrellas. You have to buy your lunch, it's not included in the price. So, I dont know if I would recommand this activity.

The beach here was beautiful and not at all crowded. The resorts staff were very friendly and helpful. My only regret was that we couldn't have stayed longer, as our ship had an early departure from St. Maarten.

DO NOT BOOK THIS. First of all the beach you can go to it’s a public beach. You can pay for chairs and umbrella way under the $80. It says you can use the resorts pools but we were told no and can only use the beach. It is false advertising. The description says what’s all included they are so dishonest!

I feel that this was really a ripoff. I paid $43.00 for something that should have cost $15.00. I entered the hotel.through the front lobby. I told them that I had a day pass and they told me to see the activities person on the beach. There was no such person. As I passed several over full garbage cans with swarming flies, I found an empty beach chair with umbrella. Beach was nice enough. I though there would be bar service.but you had to take care of that yourself. Next time I'll know better.

It was a lovely and peaceful beach….the water was beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves! The price of the package was fantastic, a chair, an umbrella, the use of snorkeling equipment and paddle boards, all for $40 pp. I went to this beach off a cruise in March and June of this year. Both experiences were fantastic!!! I can’t wait to return next year!
First of all, the booking process was super easy, next the description was accurate. I called Divi and they were friendly and answered all my questions. From beginning to end the day was amazing, hassle free and just what we wanted.
Well first off, bring a towel! My fault as I missed that in the exclusions and there are none available at the resort for Viator guests. We had 6 ships in port so took over 45mins to get a taxi to the resort. Once we arrived it took almost an hour to get the lounge chairs and another 30mins to get an umbrella…staff were friendly and accommodating as much as they could be but was basically lord of the flies trying to get your lounge chair!
Ocean was perfect with sandy shores and nice food and bar available. No wifi for Viator guests tho.
My opinion…compare the costs to onboard excursions that have guaranteed vehicles available for transportation to beach and chairs lined up and ready. For family of 5 at $50 in taxi rides and all the waiting around I am thinking I didn’t save much for the aggravation. Again my opinion…maybe on a less busy day it would have been better.
