Meet your friendly guide at the Philipsburg cruise port and board a comfortable, air-conditioned van for transport to your first beach stop. Onboard, enjoy complimentary refreshments like water, beer, soda and rum punch.
Arrive at St Maarten's longest beach, Orient Bay Beach, where you'll stay for approximately 2 hours. Spread out your towel and relax in the sand, wade or swim in the calm aqua waters, or visit some of the nearby beach bars and restaurants. Sailboats, jet skis and paragliding excursions are all available, as well as some kids' activities (at your own expense.)
Around midday, return to the vehicle for the trip to Maho Bay Beach. Famous for its proximity fo Princess Juliana International Airport, the beach is a great place to see jumbo jets fly in and out of the island. Stroll the white sand beach, lounge in the sand, or watch the waves crash on the rocky coast during your 2-hour stay here. Visit the Sunset Beach Bar and Grill for lunch (own expense) while listening to a live feed from the airport's control tower.
After your half day of fun in the sun and sand, enjoy drop-off back at the cruise port.

We enjoyed this excursion and had a great time. The Orient beach was a bit too rough and we didn’t get in but enjoyed relaxing. It is next to a nude beach which we didn’t realize when booking. Not really an Issue but there was an older woman on our side that walked by topless. Maho beach was fun and we liked watching the planes. The drive around the island was nice and our driver Rafael was great at pointing things out. On our way back the bus did get stuck in second gear but Rafael kept us safe and was able to get another close by bus to stop and transferred us. No issues in getting us back to the ship on time.

The time you post is the time on the island if your ship time is different, they should make you aware of it as we missed part of our tour due to that. We came off at ship just before the time that the tour was leaving to find out that it had already left. However, they did come back and get us and we missed part of the tour.

Meet at private pickup lot right by security exit, not by other taxis. We did not make it to Maho beach due to traffic which was a bummer.

Great tour! King David was the best and very knowledgeable. Orient Beach was more for getting sun and Maho Beach was great for a bite to eat and plane watching. I can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely outstanding tour; King David was a fantastic tour guide! The only change I would recommend is just having Maho as a quick picture stop and spend more time on Orient beach! I would I highly recommend this excursion!!!

Is what’s advertised. Prompt (slightly early) pickup at hotel. 1 hour at Orient beach than 1.5 hours at Maho beach. Only suggestion would be it would be nice if some arrangement was made for short term chair rental at orient beach Bus driver was informative and entertaining (? King David)

wonderful driver and tour guide Denzel made this tour fun and informative. Time well spend on Orient Beach, and Maho beach. At Orient, for $10 each we got 2 chairs, and umbrella and 2 drinks.

Orient Beach is European style which means you will encounter some nudity. And if you venture to the nude section be prepared.

Great visit to beaches on both sides of St Marten: the French and Dutch sides. It was scheduled as a half day tour, but lasted all day. Would have preferred to stay longer at Orient beach than Maho beach, but it was fun to see the planes land so close overhead. Driver was very informative as to the island’s history. Would highly recommend this tour. P.S. Amigo tours is located past the taxi stand and in a small parking lot to the left

What an experience!! Special thanks to Denzel our driver and ‘Suzette’ our bus! We had the most amazing day.
Orient Beach was a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine for a short while. We got beds on arrival which were chargeable but you got a drink of your choice included. Plenty of places to eat and drink!
Maho beach was very crowded but it did not ruin the experience, the beach was beautiful and the view of the planes was phenomenal. Plenty of shops and bars. Even a bar with a swimming pool if you don’t fancy the sea!
Denzel shared so much knowledge for both the Dutch and French side of the island and we learnt so much about St Maarten as a whole during the trip.
Highly recommend to anyone for gorgeous views and lots of laughs thrown in!

Our tour was coordinated through Amigo tours via Viator. Our guide, Denzel, was informative and entertaining. He shared a lot of great information about the island and the stops were perfect. Our only issue was finding the meet up location when we arrived. The map provided by Viator showed a meeting location right off the pier. We asked several officials and information and were misdirected a couple times. We actually needed to walk behind a couple buildings to the taxi area where non-ship planned tours pick up. Overall the actual tour was absolutely fantastic!

We made our way to Orient Beach first with little traffic. After 75 minutes at Orient Beach (plenty of time) it took over an hour to get to Maho Beach due to the merge of beach traffic and airport traffic. But don't get discouraged, we still had 75 minutes at Maho Beach which was also plenty of time. Our guide/drive was King David and he could not have been more polite, informed and funny. It was a great experience. The one minor difficulty was finding the meeting point at the port. The EDC parking lot signage with directional arrows from exiting the dock were a bit confusing. But once there, the rest was smooth!

One of the most important things to know is if you are not comfortable, letting your children see naked people, you should not bring them on this tour. There is a nude side of the beach and there is a clothed side of the beach but my grandchildren saw women with no tops and men with no clothes. Good thing they do not shock easily.
Also, there was not enough time dedicated to the Mahlo Beach. By the time we ordered food, cause there was not a whole lot of good places to eat at the other beach, we had to pack it all up and run to the bus.
It’s a great trip, but I think they just need to adjust their times at different beaches and make everyone aware that they probably will see naked people

Denzel!!! Very thorough, polite, funny, knowledgeable, attentive. Orient Beach was our preferred location as it wasn’t as busy or noisy. Fellow guests respected meeting times and we all had fun!

Our tour guide Captain Kenneth was fantastic. He offered great narrative and humor to our experience. Time at orient beach was relaxing and beautiful. Maho beach was a fun experience though we opted to observe the planes from the shoreside restaurant.

Read online about Le String before we went. $20 for two drinks, two chairs and an umbrella was a good deal. They’re French so aren’t the most friendly people but not rude. We spent 90 min there but would have like to stay there longer. After Orient we went to Maho and spent another 90 min. That’s maybe a tops 30 min stop. Way too crowded

If was great to see both the Dutch and French sides of the Island. Our tour guide went all out to make sure we had an awesome experience! Feedback for Amigo Tours, be more specific about where to meet to start the tour. Also, our tour guide wanted us to have a wonderful experience, so the tour ran an hour over. We made it back to the ship 30 minutes before all aboard. We were a bit nervous. All ended well though!!

St. Marten was a very unique experience however it was way way too crowded. Could hardly find room to sit on the beach😞! Be advised of a strong undertow. First beach stop was great!

Great time for plane watching in Maho beach. We arrived just before 4 of the major airlines landed. Watch some smaller planes take off. Water was nice and warm.
Was concerned for a while as not sure if the van would make it up the hills. Driver got us back to port by 4pm ship time.

The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, offering rich insights into the areas we visited and passed through. At each beach stop, you’ll encounter friendly local vendors selling handmade jewelry, accessories, hats, bags, and other artisanal items. If you’re interested in purchasing, be sure to bring cash, as most don’t accept cards. Maho Beach, while famous, is smaller and tends to be more congested. For a more relaxing experience, Orient Beach is the ideal spot to unwind. It’s a great balance!

Fun day!! Hard to find meeting spot, which we knew from reviews) and still had trouble getting to it. William was a great driver! Orient Beach was beautiful, he dropped us off by restaurants at the beach where you can rent loungers, he waited in the parking lot. We walked down a little and got two chairs, small table, umbrella, and two drinks for $20 at Le String Beach Bar/Restaurant- great staff, beautiful restaurant with bathroom. Nude beach down a little from drop off area if interested. Two hours there. After beach offered rum punch and waters for free.
Then rode to Maho and dropped off in parking lot by Sunset Beach bar/restaurant/ perfect place to watch the planes without being right under. Flight times listed there. Or walk down (very close) and go on beach or in water and planes fly over you. Two hours there approx.
One negative was a boss got on bus at Maho and said we had to change buses and driver to return. Gave us the bus # and where it would be parked. It was right near drop off and easy to find…but we liked our bus and driver. Turns out it was a bigger bus with more people added, like they joined two groups. And A/C didn’t work which was awful at end of a long beach day!!! Terrible ride back! (25min) Other than that it was a great day, organized and well worth the price!

The driver was very nice taking good care of us! We could feel jet engine air at Maho Beach! We only wanted to go to beaches without any shopping so this tour was simple and everything we wanted.

The beaches are very crowded due to the holiday season and that made it hard to enjoy the trip. Not that there was anything you could do about it.
