Ilaria was such a gracious host at her beautiful home. She gave us specific instructions on the train service from Siena and she picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. She was a wonderful instructor and taught us how to make tiramisu and pasta. We enjoyed the food and had a delightful time with her husband and daughter. Will be a favorite part of our trip.

This was the best experience of our trip. We attended with 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 10-6) and could not recommend this enough! The girls were engaged and had time to both enjoy, learn, and soak in all of the beautiful family's culture. We loved Fabio and Antonella! They felt like family.

My wife and I booked this experience during our honeymoon, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy.
From the moment we arrived at the family home of our instructor, Ilaria, near Siena, it felt less like a cooking class and more like being welcomed into an Italian family’s home for dinner. Ilaria showed us her amazing garden and home and taught us how to prepare a delicious homemade Italian meal.
Together we made bruschetta, lazy pork bruschetta, Tortelli Maremmani, and tiramisu. The instruction was easy to follow and filled with many tips and techniques making cooking easy and fun. Throughout the evening, we enjoyed wine while cooking and learning about Tuscan food and culture.
The best part came after the cooking was finished. We sat down and shared dinner with Ilaria, her husband, and their daughter in their garden. It felt like being invited to a family gathering rather than attending a tourist activity. After dinner, we enjoyed dessert wine and coffee before heading home.
This was an amazing experience. The food was incredible, the hospitality was unforgettable, and the entire evening gave us a genuine glimpse into Italian family life. Five stars.

This was a truly special experience! Our hosts welcomed us into their home, taught us how to make three different authentic Italian dishes, and set up a beautiful table outside overlooking the Tuscan hillside for our meal together. My husband, two adult children, and I will remember this experience for years to come.

We booked because it said it would be held in Siena proper, but this class was about a 30 min car ride away. That’s quite alright because our teacher’s husband kindly offered to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel. The setting was beautiful so we were happy to see the Tuscan countryside and to be in a home rather than a restaurant or cooking school. My son (14) and I were the only students this day and Genny made us feel very welcome in her home. We learned how to make pasta from scratch—tagliatelle and spinach-stuffed ravioli, plus a tiramisú. It was quite easy to follow all the steps and we felt very successful. Nothing was too hard and Genny helped when needed. She had already prepared one sauce made from canned fresh tomatoes from her garden which was spectacular. The other sauce (for the ravioli) was made from butter, cheese and fresh sage from her garden. Also great. We then sat together and ate where the hospitality continued. We tried two kinds of Tuscan pecorino, homemade bread, delicious wine, and vin santo with the tiramisù which was such a treat. All more than we expected. If you have a free morning or afternoon to pass in Siena I highly recommend this class. (Also to note: I am a very experienced cook and thought the level of the class would be perfect for absolute beginners/teens learning to cook.)

Absolutely loved it! Our host Ilaria was wonderful. We learned a lot, and not just about cooking. Beautiful food, lovely company. The children really enjoyed the experience too. Really recommend it!

We had an incredible experience with a fantastic family. Learning to cook pasta and other dishes in their home was truly fascinating. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and we cherished every moment spent with them. One of our guests had to leave early, and the host’s husband kindly offered her a ride back to the hotel. This activity is a must-do when visiting Siena. It was the perfect way for our group to kick off our family trip to Italy.

This was an amazing experience! Enza was wonderful! We could not have asked for a better cooking class! Not only was it fun and engaging, the food was perfect. This was the highlight of our stay in Siena. We can’t wait to make pasta and tiramisu when we get home!

My wife and I loved this experience! Our host was a wonderful cook. She made five different pastas and Taramisu. It was great fun, instructive, and a great lunch. We just wish our daughters had been with us. I guess we’ll have to come back.

She was the sweetest and the food was delicious! The recipes were easy enough to recreate. The translator we had was also wonderful.

Enza was amazing and made our experience so special. She took her time teaching us everything about her recipes and how true Locals in Siena cook. We’d recommend her class a million times over. She treated us like family, including my 2 year old daughter, and accommodated wonderfully for Both gluten & nut allergies making sure everyone could eat everything we prepared.

My husband and I had a lovely and fun evening cooking dinner with Patrizia! She was so kind and patient, and we learned a lot about authentic Italian cooking! We made our own pasta, which we have never even attempted (we are now going to try it at home!). It was simple ingredients, but everything was so delicious :)

Like visiting a friend and learning her recipes while helping with dinner. Great experience and instructor (Barbara). Pici, antipasti & wine were delish and I’m still enjoying my biscotti. Tip: Best if you have a car or group taxi since it’s a bit outside of the center, about $50 r/t.

From the moment we were greeted by Enza we knew we were at the RIGHT place!!! Enza was so charming and welcoming. There were 6 of us and we all had a wonderful time. We learned while we enjoyed a delicious meal in her lovely home. This cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Would highly recommend Enza and the cooking experience.

Excellent evening. It was the most genuine and immersive experience we had in our two weeks across Italy

Our visit with Patrizia in Siena was totally amazing!! What a wonderful and welcoming hostess and an outstanding chef. I wont give away her recipes but we were all very impressed at the innovative (yet simple) dishes we prepared and everything was delicious. It was hard to leave as we were having so much fun. I can't recommend the Cesarine experience and specifically Patrizia enough. I only hope we can do it again and am glad that we have a method to stay in contact to help us prepare the dishes at home.

This was a wonderful experience. It is a must do when visiting Siena. Meeting Patrizia and her translator Antonina was like meeting new friends. We shared laughter and cooking lessons as we learned about each other. We enjoyed our product together as we shared a meal and made friends. A highlight of the trip.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Patrizia's home. She was an excellent cook and the pasta dinner and dessert were remarkable. She was very hospitable and friendly. We also appreciated her friend that did translation into English. That was very helpful. Overall this was a fantastic experience we will always remember

One of the most fun and creative experiences we’ve ever had on any vacation! Barbara is AWESOME! My wife and I bonded with her from the moment we arrived at her lovely Tuscan home. She shared the fresh family olive oil which had literally been pressed 2 days prior to our arrival. Such a treat! The fresh taste was unlike any olive oil I’ve ever had. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience during a visit to Siena.
