Thomas is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and passionate. He was careful to make sure we arrived and departed safely. He showed us where to go with our Uber driver. He contacted us ahead of time to make sure we knew where we were going. He is great about adapting the hike to the fitness and interests of the participants. I highly recommend. The tour with Thomas was one of the highlights of our trip to Rio de Janeiro.

Our tour & hike through the Tijuca National Park was such a great experience! Thomas, our tour guide, helped us gain an overall understanding of the park's greatness and scale while still allowing us to focus on the small, beautiful details that set this park apart from any other. Thomas adapted the hike to our skill level and we enjoyed plenty of waterfalls. He was also a fantastic photographer! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to explore the hidden beauty of this park!

Thomas is an excellent guide with more than enough info to share with you about Tijuca. The walk throughout the park was very eye opening and fun. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who loves a good time in nature

Thomas was an amazing hike tour guide! From the very start, he made the entire experience unforgettable. He not only led us through the beautiful trails of Rio de Janeiro, but also shared the rich history behind the city, adding a whole new layer of appreciation for the landscape. His knowledge about the local plants was incredible—he pointed out so many unique species along the way, explaining their significance and uses in the ecosystem. Thomas’s enthusiasm and passion for nature were contagious, making the hike both educational and fun. We left the trail feeling inspired and grateful for such a well-rounded adventure. Thomas is an excellent guide. He contacted us in advance and gave us information on what to pack, which was much appreciated. In addition, he is super knowledgeable about the rainforest and was able to adapt the difficulty and speed of the hike to the fitness level of our group. He also gave great restaurant recommendations for the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Had the best time with Thomas! He was full of energy and was so funny, interesting in his stories and facts about the what we saw, and he customized the tour to suit what we were looking for. He was so accommodating when our Uber dropped us off at the wrong place and was so patient waiting for us. We will remember this as a highlight of our trip to Rio!

Highlight of my stay in Rio!

This hike was most definitely the highlight of my stay in Rio! I attended as a solo traveller and it was such a welcoming atmosphere. Small group with an individualized approach from our guide Thomas. Thomas was super kind, welcoming, knowledgable, and funny. We got to spend sometime in one of the waterfalls for a super refreshing dip, and also got to see some hardcore rock climbers. And as a cherry on top of an already wonderful experience, we saw a monkey!! CUTE!!!! And Thomas personalizes the hike based on the needs and abilities of each group! I, for sure, recommend this hike!!

Lovely tour! Tomas was excellent and explained a lot of interesting things to us, and safely helped us explore the park. We saw some breathtaking views. One of the best tours we've done in Rio (if not the best!!!).
