This was an amazing tour with an even more amazing tour guide, Alvaro. Before the excursion, Alvaro messaged us with lunch/dinner suggestions, if the restaurants accepted credit card, what to bring to wear, a detailed itinerary and kept in touch several times before the tour. During the tour, he paid attention to all the little details- plenty of bathroom breaks, cover ups for our swim suits, hair tie for my hair, beach chairs, special treats and local snacks, go pro footage of the trip, walking poles, and lots of photo taking. Alvaro was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had.

This is a 20 out of 10 experience. Alvaro anticipates every one of your needs and makes the trip unforgettable. He’s so proud of what he does and takes care of every single detail. From an excellent car with WIFI, chargers and videos to a little shower to clean up after the beach and Nespresso coffee after lunch. He’s the best.

This was one of the best experiences I had in Brazil. The day was full of good moments, from the beautiful beaches to the fun hike and the sunset that felt like a dream.
What made it really special was him. You can see how much he cares and how much love he puts into what he does. There is something personal behind it all, and you can feel it during the trip.
The photos were amazing. I will keep them forever. I’ve done many tours before, but this one felt different in the best way.

Wow! This hike to Telegraph Rock was beyond incredible! From start to finish, it was an adventure filled with stunning scenery, exciting trails, and jaw-dropping views of Rio's coastline.
Our guide was absolutely amazing, he just went above and beyond, super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable with fun facts, snacks and great energy. The final reward?
Standing on the famous rock with breathtaking panoramic views that felt like something out of a dream! Plus a lot of professional photos and beautiful sunsets in the end of the day. If you're in Rio, this is an absolute MUST-DO. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Álvaro is phenomenal. This is not just the best tour I've done in Brazil, but the best tour I've done in general. Álvaro is an extremely thoughtful guide who anticipated our every need. Hand sanitizer? He has it. Extra ice cold water? He's got it. He's an excellent photographer who knew the best places to take pictures and sent us the photos, edited and all the next day. He also had local food and drinks for us to try and took us to a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. If you only do one tour while in Rio, make sure it is this one! You will not regret it.

Had a wonderful tour with Alvaro filled of memorable moments. The tour was well planned with lot’s of fun surprises. We got to see things that we would never seen as tourists. Had a wonderful time doing this tour. Saw the best part of Rio de Janeiro - wonderful beach towns on the way to Telegrafo. The sunset was amazing from the top and there was no one else there but us. Highlight of my trip in Rio.
Alvaro is the perfect guide. Hes very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He have everything prepared and have the stuff that you need for the tour. He went above and beyond as a tour guide.

Alvaro is warm, attending to every minor detail for my needs, went beyond my expectation. Timing control was great to our pace. We did beaches, lunch, Telegraph stone climb. Saffo created a tour that will delight the senses and help you understand the history and background of Rio. There was plenty of action packed adventure, moments of tranquil relaxation, fun vibes, beach moments, and sunset photos during our tour. The surprises throughout the day were awesome and well timed. If you want a professional, friendly, and encouraging guide to coax you up and down the mountain hike through nature in one piece and don't mind challenging your self a little to get views of the city that are totally worth it, you won't be disappointed. There was an unfortunate incident with a missing beach hat going missing,
so just be sure to hang onto your belongings when stopping along at places on the tour. Otherwise, we enjoyed a great time with the others on our toue. We were also impressed with the beautiful photos that Saffo took of our group to remember our time in Rio.

Dear Kathleen, my pleasure about the great moments and memories we'll keep about that day and my apologies, again, for that incident. And I just added a DVR camera to the Land Cruiser's back window, besides the one in the front window, the alarm and the locked parking lot in the mountain (where we find also comfort, toilets and a wonderful view for the sunset, something really exclusive I may assure). There are delinquents everywhere and they look for opportunities. Unfortunately, this time someone managed to open the rack box and took your hat even being inside the restaurant's parking lot. After that, reimbursing your lost was the only thing under my control and I'm glad you accepted it, it was the fair thing. Your feedback is important and every day we develop new strategies to make our day full of good memories and never bad incidents.

An amazing experience. The tour guide Alvaro was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful with everything each of us wanted. He had a clear plan to make the tour the best as possible but was extremely accommodating to any changes needing to be made for the benefit of everyone in the group. He would provide drinks and snacks and give each of us a 5 star treatment throughout, and knew the answers to any questions we asked. The best tour guide I have ever had.
The tour itself was also amazing, taken to see some beautiful beaches and stopped off at one with great water and scenery which we had an hour to swim and relax on. Lunch was also decent and was in a nice secluded area with an equally nice view. The trek itself is not too difficult but definitely a little tiring, it’s worth it in the end for the view at the top. Alvaro incredibly attentive with the photographs and wanting the best for each of us.
I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rio, it’s a long day but totally worth it, cannot stress enough how fantastic Alvaro the tour guide was, who made sure the entire trip that we were all happy and comfortable. Wish he was my guide for all the tours here. Definitely book this trip!

Honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced (and I travel a lot). It is evident that he is truly passionate about what he does. Every detail was carefully curated to ensure a great experience; no detail was spared. Excellent communication at the time of booking and throughout. He made sure to confirm details and any special accommodations. He was very patient during the hike and made sure we took breaks as needed. Alvaro is a great guide! Very informative, he shared with us good information about the places we were visiting. He made us feel very comfortable during the tour. He was incredibly prepared for both the beach and the hike: his back pack was a marry Poppins bag! Entering the jeep is already an experience: great choice of music (fitting very well the situation).
