The experience was worth the money. The instructor gave basic information on how to operate the buggies. Somehow my son and I was at the tail of the line but the staff made sure that we were able to catch up. My son whom is 7 really enjoyed me splashing through the mud puddles, be prepared to get very wet on the buggies, not so much with the ATVs. The only concern I had was the seat belt especially for minors. I am not sure if after we stopped to tour the cave, the seatbelt for the passenger was broken and would not strap. The staff put the chest part of the seatbelt around my son’s waist and told him to hold on to the bar in front of him but my son’s arm was too short to hold on to the bar. My son did not feel safe nor did I for him. I had to hold my arm out, across him so that he would not bounce around on the bumpy roads and to make it worse, while we were waiting in line to go, someone kept bumping us really hard from the back. I am not sure if they were bumping us because they don’t know how to brake or if they was doing it to be funny but before I could get out to confront the people, the staff member was already on it cause he could tell I was HOT!
At the end, they try to sell you your pictures. The package was $90 for 86 photos or you can get 1 photo for $20. They also had a place for your to wash off. I would recommend but make sure you have a functional seatbelt especially for small children.

Really good fun.
Staff were great and helped when I was struggling with how to use the buggy. Unfortunately one person decided to not follow the rules and crashed their buggy. But the guide handled it really well.

This excursion was absolutely amazing and worth every single penny! We got to explore different parts of the Dominican Republic, experience some of the local culture, swim in a beautiful cave, and visit one of the most incredible beaches I’ve ever seen. Every stop was unique and gave us a chance to see the real beauty of the DR.

Omg!!! Amazing, very dirty and fun! Antonio was a great leader and would definitely do this again! Highly recommend to bring plenty of cash to avoid the 20% taxes and technical issues when getting souvenirs! The visit was definitely reasonable and enjoyable. Shuttle and transportation was air conditioned and quick but hang on because the drivers out there are something else lol pictures were excellent quality!
Attire: wear something comfortable like a swimsuit and beach shorts over the bottom, a bonnet(my hair was long but fully covered)/bandana, glasses!!!, and face mask.
The faster you drive, the more dirty you will be and that's the best part!! Try to pack light and bring phone case cover(water proof). Absolutely easy and helpful experience.

So unorganized. All the vehicles were poorly maintained — most were being hot-wired just to start. The steering was terrible; there was so much play in the wheel it felt like trying to play Call of Duty on 400 ping. It was extremely unsafe at higher speeds. It was so bad that one guy lost control, slammed into a wall, and was launched out of his buggy. That happened within the first minute of the ride, and he tore his arm up badly.
The first stop was only a minute up the road and was nothing but a money grab — selling cocoa powder, vanilla, rum, Dominican Viagra, etc. Five minutes later came the next stop — another giant money trap. The second you arrive, you're swarmed by shopkeepers aggressively trying to sell you everything they can. They bombard you so much that you lose time to actually swim in the cave. By the time you're done dodging them, you get maybe five minutes in the water.
The trail itself? It wasn’t what we were sold. It was basically a dust-filled desert with a tiny man-made stretch of shallow water and mud. About 95% dry dirt and 5% actual mud.
Between the poorly maintained, unsafe buggys, money grab tourist traps, and the god awful trail, I can't say I recommend this.

Many delays and little communication or direction. The experience of the region via ATVs was very nice way to get around. The cave was nice visiting. Lots of small shops salespersons. The low price is a good fit.

Everything was good except the swimming in the cave, too crowded in the water, can be dangerous for swimmers that don't know how to float. Recommend staff to control traffic flow in the cave, so no future accidents happen

This was my first experience of riding an ATV, my last was a buggy which l felt l had more control of....
l didn't feel so confident plus my ATV kept cutting out. It was swopped over with another ATV which was fine but I told one of the guides l didn't think this was going well for me so he kindly took over and l rode as a passenger, which was fine for me.
We stopped off at the beach for a while, and one of the caves which you could jump into the water if you liked, there were other holidaymakers doing the same thing, and l rode the short trip back myself, l thought the experience was great, and be prepared to get dirty, driving through water filled ditches due to the rain which added to the excitement...the time was well spent and l thought good value for money...l intend to do this again on my next travels, and hopefully l will be more confident to ride the ATV on my own...
