The locations were what we expected. Fun and interesting. The reason we will not go to this company again, is after spending money on marked up water shoes for the cenote, we were givin the worst piece of crap buggy anyone could ask for. This thing was a workout to turn and brake. We also never recieved the free bottles of water that each ticket was supposed to get, so I would bring your own.
Each stop was full of pushy sales people who do not stop. So be prepared to say NO a lot. The village you stop at first is to sample things they make there (I think).
I’m just annoyed. Quality of vehicle was horrible even tho they had tons of brand new buggy’s there. And the pushy people at every stop was a huge annoyance.
Spend more and go with a better company if the money isn’t a big deal to you.

Booked this experience a week in advance. Texted the day of to confirm pickup. They responded and sent the pick up time. We went to the lobby at the time they told us to and texted to let them know we were in the lobby. After a few minutes of no response I texted asking if we should meet them at the gate of the resort or if the lobby was fine. Was told to wait a moment. We then said we would be waiting at the outside gate of the resort to make things easier. Then a random number started messaging saying they were coming to pick us up for the tour but his English was very bad and even when my Spanish speaking partner tried to coordinate the pickup with him he kept saying things like “you need to ask the security to let me through” even though we were waiting at the security gate and there was no vehicle there. We waited outside for over 30mins then were told to just ask the hotel to send a taxi for us to their location and that they would pay the taxi when we arrived. So we got in the taxi and arrived at the “meeting place” (a gas station) where apparently there was supposed to be someone there that would lead us to the actual buggy establishment. After that 30min taxi ride we had to wait another maybe 40 or 45mins in this taxi because no one showed up. Then finally we get to the buggy place and the people there tell us they don’t know about the taxi situation and that they’re not paying. And also that apparently they have no more buggies available for us to even use so we were sent all the way back to our resort and forced to pay an additional almost $60 for a a taxi. I asked for a full refund and compensation for the taxi and so far have been given nothing. This whole ordeal took practically 3 hours and we ended up booking another tour through our resort that was MUCH better they were called ADVENTURE BOOGIES book with them instead. The tour we did was a sunset mud buggy, cenote cave party, with open bar and buffet dinner that was really good

Buggies themselves were great. But Macao beach was closed off due to high tides I think is what they said, however they did not mention this when purchasing the tour or refund any of the money back. All we did was ride the buggies to the cenote and go to the chocolate/coffee plantation. Even there they consistently harrass you to buy their products despite saying no 100s of times.

They didn’t even come to pick us up and lied about being at the entrance. Waste of time and money, we were very upset.

Absolutely the worst experience ever! First, the driver wouldn't come to the hotel lobby and made us walk to the street. Then we had over 2 hours in a van picking up others. Then, with an already packed van, he stopped at another resort and tried to cram 7 more people into the 1 seat that was open. When we finally got to the buggy place, it was 12:35, our tour was scheduled for 10:30. So we signed in, got instructions and sat there for another hour waiting. Finally, around 1:30 we were on the buggy and began. The first stop was a waste of time, basically pushy vendors trying to sell overpriced junk. The next stop st the cave was hugely disappointing as we were originally told we had 15 mins there but when we arrived the guide said we have 2 mins, enough for everyone to jump in the cenote then climb out and back into the buggy for the ride to the beach. When we got there, we walked what seemed like a mile and were given 15 minutes. Overall a very rushed, delayed and disappointing experience. What was supposed to be a "half day" tour turned into a painful 7 hour ordeal because of the mismanagement by the tour company.

A fantastic, dirty experience - great fun. The cenote was a waste of time, as was the stop at a bar and a chocolate demonstration - otherwise it would be 5 stars

Great tour. The whole family had a blast. We had a group of 12 and every single one of us enjoyed this tour.

Best time ever!! Mr. Chocolate was outstanding. The only thing that I was not satisfied with, was no complimentary water, they sell them at $2. However, they still had the lowest price for the same service. I highly recommend them.

The buggy ride is very nice.
But you should know that all stops are only made to make you spend, merchants can be borderline correct.
