Itinerary

Your morning begins with a private Mercedes-Benz vehicle picking you up from your hotel. Embark on a scenic drive through the city, as your guide provides an entertaining introduction to the city’s fascinating history and key landmarks.

Kick off the day’s sightseeing with a visit to the hilltop Prague Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest castle complex. Discover the remarkable variety of architectural styles as you stroll around the castle buildings, and spot examples of Romanesque, Gothic, baroque, rococo, Renaissance, and neoclassical style. WORST TOUR EVER - Continental Travel is a sham!!!!

Peter and Barbara were the WORST TOUR PEOPLE EVER! We are seasoned travelers, do a lot of city tours, had just had two in Budapest and Vienna that were wonderful full day tours. Barbara knew nothing. We drove along and the first things she wanted to show us was the view of the 4 neighborhoods. When asked why they decided to go together because she offered no information about anything, she said she thought the king thought it was a good idea? What king? I mentioned immediately that I expected a much more thorough description of everything we would be seeing and she told me she wasn't a historian, just a guide. We paid $1300 for this tour! I then called the company, hoping they could send us a better guide and the driver was the one who answered the phone. They told me everyone loved their tours and didn't understand what our problem was. At that point, I tried to find another tour for the afternoon. We stayed with the because we had limited time in Prague and felt something was better than nothing. We walked through the prague castle and she knew nothing more than what was on the signs and in some cases, less. The final straw was when we got the the Astrological clock, probably the most famous sight in all of Prague and she didn't know what the different circles were, including the astrological signs! I don't know how Viator has them on their list. I want a complete refund. I am so disappointed that we didn't get any information about anything we saw. We did fact check a few things she mentioned and she was wrong!! DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR!

I think the tour would be good but our guide was not. If someone wants all the facts of Prague in a day, she would be the right person. She thought we were terrible stopping for lunch and not learning more. She said 'I thought Americans didn't eat lunch'. I don't think anyone else was brave enough to insist. We were on vacation, not in her college class. We called her horrible Hannah. Peter, the driver was excellent!

Horrible Tour - Tour Company Never Responded

We were highly disappointed in the tour today. We were expecting a tour deep in Czech history but instead the tour skimmed over the surface. We heard more about the American famous actors that stayed in hotels. I also expected the tour guide to have a plan of what we were going to see, basically an outline of the day, nope that didn’t happen either. When we entered the church at Prague Castle, the tour guide really did not say anything. I expected a tour guide to be excited and eager to share in your rich history. I had to ask her about certain statues but she kindly pointed out the floor was covered because of a concert and the had brought in extra chairs! At this point I asked her how long she had been a tour guide for and she stated many years. That is hard to believe. Here is another example of the tour - we are passing the st. Vitus mosaic and she stated that “those are a bunch of religious scriptures” WHAT!! That is the last judgement, that I later found out from the souvenir shop. We paid almost $1,000 for this tour and didn’t receive a knowledgeable tour guide of the Czech cultural or history. The car was poorly organized as well, we should not be waiting more than 5 minutes for the car to pick us up. And when we walked crossed the st. Charles bridge, which was great, but when we get to the end of the bridge and we are at an angle of the st Charles statue, she then says a short sentence or two about it! What - seriously this was the worst tour guide.

Kevin and the driver are very friendly and they try to customize our tour based on what we have already done. Kevin is knowledgeable about the Prague Castle and its surroundings. He is friendly and accommodating. We also like the visit at the Jewish Quarters and the Astronomical clock. The Mecedes Benz is very nice and comfortable. We would like to try local Czech food and he took us to a great place. Overall very good experience.

Definitely would recommend a private tour over a group tour. Way too many group tours going in on this city with guides speaking in speakers to the crowds. Our guide was very informative, allowed us to do what we wanted, took us to a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view on the water. 5*!
