Not as expected, not worth the money

Teresa_Z, Sep 2026

We went to a beer tasting where the place had several beers on tap that you could taste and had a certain amount of money on the card to spend. There was no discussion of the beers or any sort “tour”. We went to two places. We thought we were going to a few different taverns and were getting some information about each. The guide told us we had 300 czk to spend on beer and the total cost of the event was $80 USD. We spent the majority of our time walking between places. The guide was very sweet and really nice but had no knowledge of beer and didn’t give us any information at all. She mostly interacted with her phone. She did have small talk with us and also shared that this was the first time she completed this kind of tour. We filled out a questionnaire for a customized tour with Nataly but none of that was completed and we ended up with Victoria. All my other Viator tours have been great but this was one we could have done ourselves. Not recommended.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Hello Teresa, We’re genuinely sorry that this experience fell short of what you were expecting. We’re glad to hear that Victoria was sweet and friendly, and we appreciate you sharing the details of your experience. Your comments are helpful in giving us a better understanding of how the tour was delivered and where expectations may not have aligned. We’ve already taken steps to review our processes to help ensure this type of situation doesn’t happen again and we hope you’ll give us another chance to provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable experience in the future. Warm regards, Sheenah and the City Unscripted Team
