Karlštejn Castle is a Must To See

The castle is a 45 minute drive (16km) from the old part of Prague. Our guide was also our driver and used the journey as an opportunity to talk through the history of Prague and the link to Kind Charles IV's Gothic castle at Karlstejn which was the home to the the Bohemian Crown Jewels and a large collection of holy relics. It is a hugely impressive structure, accessed through a steep road and path from a car park which is out of site of the castle. The caste is one of the most famous and frequently visited locations in the Czech Republic.

Great adventure with Petr. Basically guides you and gives you all background for your visit, making it seamless. Actual inside tour is a small group tour given by a castle guide, offered in English. On the way back you enjoy local stories and the countryside.

Our guide, Peter, was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He was very flexible and accommodating to our desires to see several sites besides the castle. He was a fountain of knowledge about Prague and the region. He seemed to know the best spots to get great pictures and gave us a great recommendation for an authentic Chech lunch at the end of our tour.

A pesar que nuestra guía Eva fue muy amable, el servicio que se nos ofreció no fue lo contratado, pague “tour privado en español” y lo que se me dio fue trasporte al castillo, pero al llegar allá nuestra guía no podía entrar al recorrido dentro del castillo, tuvimos que hacerlo con un tour general (aprox 20 personas más) y en idioma inglés. Reitero, nuestra guía fue muy linda, pero no tienen permitido entrar al castillo, por lo tanto la empresa vende un tour que sabe no es posible llevar a cabo, por lo tanto fue fraude.

Estimados clientes, muchos de nuestros castillos y palacios no ofrecen excursiones en español y lamentablemente en ellos no es posible realizar excursiones individuales, solo grupales o es necesario comprar 20 boletos.
