What a wonderful day we had exploring Bohemian Paradise! Jan was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike and learning about the history of the area. Lunch was fabulous, and the stop at the local brewery was a perfect way to end the day. After spending several days in the city, it was such a treat to experience the beautiful countryside. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a great time on this tour. It included several unique and enjoyable experiences. The hike through Prachov Rocks offered stunning views, and the lunch at Hrubá Skála Castle was excellent, with delicious food and drinks and beautiful scenery. The brewery tour was both fun and informative, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming.
Petr was a knowledgeable, personable, and engaging guide who helped make the day enjoyable. If you only have a few days in Prague, I highly recommend taking this tour to experience the Czech countryside beyond the city.

Was a wonderful selection of activities at a great price. Jakob is an awesome and chill host with so much knowledge of the area. It gave a mix of outdoor hikes and sights, and castle bites and beers. As a young guy going with my brother and girlfriend it was a great day for everyone. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comprehensive experience of czechia outside of prague, and into the countryside!

This was an amazing day!!! I can't thank Peter enough (sorry about the spelling as I know it is spelled differently in Czech). He was a wonderful driver, guide and host. All I can say is "WOW!" IMHO this is the only way to see the countryside.....We can't thank you enough!

Our tour guide Jan was one of the best guides we ever had on a tour. He was so friendly and jovial and delivered a terrific experience. The rock formations were amazing and the hike was easy and fun. The trip to the castle and the food was awesome. The brewery tour was great and we loved the beer there. Highly recommend this tour.

Prague is an incredible city! But if you want to see more than that than this tour is a must!! We went to Prachovske’ Scaly which is a uNESCO protected park. I’ve never seen anything like it!. And that was just the start. The castle views and lunch were incredible and the local brewery was truly a unique experience. The beer is only distributed within 30 km of their retail outlet. No way we would have found it without the tour!

This was a great excursion. We had rain on and off and it was still great. Our guides were amazing. There is a lot of walking and a good deal is uphill, but it's not overly strenuous. The views were beautiful and the lunch in the castle was delicious. The brewery tour was fun and we're not even beer drinkers. Getting picked up from the hotel was a great bonus. Highly recommend.

This is a FANTASTIC experience! The views, the history, the food, the culture were the things we took away from this journey. Jan led us expertly and carefully. I twisted my knee a couple of days before and my mobility was limited but Jan went out of his way to make the journey complete with constant check ins and physically helping me when needed. All in all a magnificent experience!

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Everything about this excursion was perfection. It started with great communication from Jan prior to our departure regarding the pick up from our hotel. Immediately when we got in the van, we were greeted with an amazing small group who are all just as excited. Jan was born and raised in Czechia and his knowledge was immediately recognized. He had so much insight the entire trip that really elevated this experience as a travel advisor. I’m always looking for excursions and experiences that will be memorable and present the traveler with the little piece of local and authentic time in the city there visiting. This was all of that and more Jan has put great time and effort into creating an authentic experience and it shows in every aspect of this tour during the hike shared so much insight of the area and the land and the history behind it all we even got to pick wild blueberries, which was definitely a highlight. The second stop at the castle was everything I could’ve imagined it would be from stunning scenery to amazing food to more thoughtful insight, and history by Jan. The last step at the Small local brewery was a fitting end to a wonderful day. Once again, Jan did not disappoint with his knowledge of beer the brewing process the flavor profiles, and the history behind this little brewery and the town that it’s in. We only had three short days in Prague and this excursion was the highlight of our time there. thank you, Jan for a memorable day that we will talk about for years to come.

This tour was a great mix of things and just a must do! Jan was super friendly, accomodating and just a great fun guy that ensured that we had a great tour! Never felt rushed. The Bohemian Paradise is a must do for anyone coming to Prague area. The tour included awesome food at a castle and then went to a brewery and couldn't even finish all the beer they let us sample! The entire day was a great experience. We ran into some rain and Jan had us covered with some rain coats. He was a great guide! And even gave us a gift at the end of the trip to remember the day!

Our guide Jan was very knowledgable, friendly & helpful. The hike was easy going taken at our own pace, we had the trail virtually to ourselves. The views were spectacular & Jan told us about the history of Bohemian Paradise. I would definitely recommend a visit here it’s beautiful & impressive. After the hike Jan took us to a castle which has been converted into an hotel where we had lunch. We were all surprisingly hungry after our hike, the food & beer were delicious. Jan showed us round the museum part of the castle then it was off to a local brewery for tasting & a tour. Again this didn’t disappoint & we all had a fantastic time & came away with our very own special can of lager. From collecting me at my hotel to dropping me off I felt like a was with friends, the whole experience was unforgettable & memories I’ll treasure.

If I could rate this experience higher than a 5 star I would. By far the best excursion of my vacation to Munich, Vienna, and Prague. Our host, Peter, was so good and the sites, sounds, food, and beer were unbelievable. This is a MUST book!!

Jan (John), was the best. He kept us informed of the tour status before we even left, and texted us when the van would pick us up. (It was great getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel). He was so friendly and informative and made us feel comfortable as we drove and hiked the beautiful Bohemian country. The pace was perfect, and the food at the castle was really special / nice and was great after the hike. Lastly the brewery was so fun as we got to sample several brews and tried some new brews that they had just created. Would definitely recommend this if you are interested in seeing the beautiful Bohemian countryside.

Jan was an amazing tour guide. In the van, he gave us information about the towns and places we were passing. During our hike, he was considerate of everyone’s pace and ability. Took great pictures and took us to beautiful spots. Bohemian paradise is beautiful. Then the castle tour was super cool because we went into a private area to view some artifacts. the restaurant at the castle was delicious. The portions are huge and we each got an entree and drink which is included in the tour. Then the beer tour was a fun way to end our day. Got to tire beer that is only local to that town and it was delicious!!!! Learned about beer process. Jan is so funny as well. Had a great time. Well worth it. Wasn’t exhausted at all. I have hip issues and I did perfectly fine on this tour.

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend. Petr picked us up at our hotel and a the communication from Jan prior to the trip was excellent. We drove just over an hour outside of Prague and enjoyed an absolutely beautiful hike. Petr was incredibly knowledgeable and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the area. After the hike we had a delicious lunch at a castle. Plenty of selection on the menu and Petr provided some great recommendations. Finally, we ended the day with a stop at a local small brewery. We were able to taste several of the beers and Petr provided us with some education on the brewery and beer making process. Petr made the day fun and engaging and we had such a great time!

First, our guide, Jan was outstanding. He was exactly on time for pickup where I was staying in Old Town. On the drive to the sandstone rock formations he was full of information and throughout the tour he told us about many details of the area and always welcomed questions. The hike thru Prachovske Skála was awesome. The many interesting rock formations and amazing viewpoints were astounding. Jan took us thru interesting crevices we could walk through and continued to be informative and fun. The hike ended too soon, but then we went on to a fantastic lunch in the castle that is now Hotel Zamek Hrubá Skala, then a tour of the castle. The last stop was the brewery Lomnicke plvo where we had a great tour of how beer is made and tasted some great beer. The tour was fantastic and Jan made it awesome. Highly recommended.

Far exceeded our expectations. The beauty of the Geopark was amazing, especially the time of day we went, with no one around, and a bonus of fresh snow. Lunch at the castle and beers at the brewery just made the whole trip a blast. Our guide Petr was the BEST !!!!
