Patrice the owner was FABULOUS!! I accidently read the time wrong and he was kind enough to allow us to return the next day. They even upgraded us!! We had done another tour last year in Paris at different company- this was WAY better!!! They did not rush us through they took their time to explain the process and even allowed us to tweak it a little. My daughter was VERY pleased and so was I. Thank you so much Patrice you REALLY made our Paris time memorable 💖 💕

I loved the activity. However, the organizational part could be better, as when I came for the experience me and another group were told that the event was overbooked, and we were invited for a later (+3h) session. This unpleasant moment tinted a bit the great experience.

Definitely an experience I will never forget! If you are at all into perfume, this is a great experience. Choosing a scent is easy as the expert perfumer helps you find your perfect blend. In the end, you will have a fantastic memory and perfume to boot! Highly recommend.

Creating a fragrance that’s uniquely me was invigorating. I wish they spoke more English, but shame on me for not brushing up on my French before traveling. It was a bit disorganized at first, but they got it together and delivered an awesome experience.

This was such a great, unique experience. The class size was not too big, and the instructor was definitely very knowledgeable. The space was cute and quaint as well. I do wish there was a bit more exposing as to why certain scents went well together, but I loved the outcome of my creation. They even give you a code so you can repurchase your exact scent later on. The class was in French, although the instructor spoke English so it was okay. My tickets said the class was in English so I was confused, but it ended up working out. Not sure if this is because of the booking through Viator or if it’s from the workshop’s end.

A delightful class with one caution

I had a very small knowledge base of how perfume is made but my eyes - and nose!! - were certainly opened with this class. MY ONE CAUTION....the class is primarily taught in French, a language I'm not proficient in. He would then turn to the two English speakers in the class and repeat his instructions for us. This was not a problem for me but I can see where some non-French speakers would not like this. We tested/smelled ~150 scents as we went through the process of selecting the fragrances we liked. Our teacher would then make suggestions as to how to make it better..."too much spice" or "too little flowers" he would say and then correct our little recipes. In the end, I walked away with my very own scent, it a pretty spray bottle AND I got to name my fragrance - I selected "Cary in Paris" after the new TV show.

Really a lovely way to spend a few hours in Paris, especially if you have interest in perfumes. A small but intimate shop in the heart of Marais. I was the only non-French speaking guest so I missed some details but the host was kind enough to explain the basics. The process of developing a scent was fun and it involved sniffing more than a 100 scent, which was overwhelming. Still, it was enjoyable, educational, and unique. Only suggestion I make is to maybe reduce the number of scents and organize a set for each guest. We spent a lot of time searching for scents we liked after sniffing them to record our choices and that was not easy. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop. Thank you.

Viator n'avait pas transmis notre réservation à Fabrice parfumeur... il a fait 200 km ... sous la pluie pour ne pas nous laisser bredouille le jour J, et malgré nos 2h de décalage sur l'atelier nous sommes ressortis enchantés de son acceuil, son écoute, sa gentillesse et son "nez"... Expérience unique... à faire pour se tailler un "costume parfumé sur mesure".
