It is one of the creepiest but interesting tours you will ever do. I don't want to spoil too much but this trip through underground Paris will fascinate you as you learn about how and why there are so many bones and why they are where they are. There are about 100 steps down and back up and the tunnels are not large and if you suffer from claustrophobia may want to skip. With the tour we had access to areas not available to general admission ticket. Be prepared to be creeped out.

We booked the skip the line with private access to the catacombs and are very glad we did. Remy was our guide and he was excellent. He has several years experience giving this tour and shared extra details from his experience. He offered lots of extra details that you can’t read online. The restricted area was surprising and very special. We loved it. Group size was about 15 people. Not too big, we were able to easily hear him and ask questions. Totally worth the extra time and money.

Be aware that it's closed in spaces and a lot of stairs, but it was fascinating and our guide was very knowledgeable.

I couldn’t find the tour guide so I called the contqct number in the reservation and nobody responded. I couldn’t even get the real tickets for the catacombs so i had to pay 112 euros more. I talked to support but they said nothing can be done and they didn’t give me a refund.

We did try to reach you using the number provided to verify your location before the tour left, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to get through. Since it was a small group and we had a scheduled entry time, we couldn’t delay the tour further, which is why we had to proceed without you. We understand this was frustrating and we truly wish we could have done more to help in this situation. We hope you understand that, due to timing constraints, there wasn't much we could do on-site, but we appreciate you sharing your feedback.
This tour was fine but not outstanding. The history lesson was good but the catacombs are not as dramatic as they make it seem. Love Victor but this was not my favorite tour.

Leo was a very experienced, and knowledgeable tour guide. Her stories were engaging and really painted a picture of what it was like for Parisians in 1770’s. Leo was patient with children on the tour, and answered every question they had to offer. Whether that was if ghosts are real, to were the bones were fake. I would recommend a tour with Leo any day. Thank you Leo for making this tour so enjoyable.

Leo was a wonderfully knowledgeable woman who knew inside stories of the catacombs and their history.
The tour guide never showed up. There was no communication from the company. I bought three tickets. The company never responded to emails. I want a refund.
Our tour guide was so enthusiastic about the subject and very well-informed. Great to share in somebody's passion! The ability to skip the line was crucial! Book ahead. The line wrapped around the block and most would have not gotten in. Also, the tour we took allows you to see parts of the catacombs that non-tour individuals do not get access to.
Gabrielle (or Gabriella can't remember sorry) was amazing she told us great information about all the history of the catacombs with pictures and stories. the extra cost for the skip the lines is totally worth it and you get taken to an area that is only for groups. Although the group was fairly big (20 maybe) she made sure that everyone heard her and saw the pictures The only thing was we were told to meet by a station and her sign wasn't very big so we thought we were in the wrong area. Other than that the tour is totally worth it 100% recommend!!
Leo was our guide and she was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable and had many interesting facts to share with our group. Any question one of our group members asked, Leo knew the answer. The ability to skip the huge, long line to enter the catacombs was a big plus!
Leo was an amazing guide. Great stories! We really appreciated all the additional pictures and information she brought. The tour was definitely with the time and money. Pre-booking through Viator also saved us from waiting in line for 3-4 hours!
Such a unique and interesting tour! While I cannot remember our guide's name, she was excellent. We highly recommend skip-the-line for this popular tour. Without it, the average wait time is listed as 3 hours! We had 4 children with us ages 10, 11, 12 and 14. The two youngest found it slightly "creepy" but were not actually scared.
Enjoyed the information that Gabriela shared with the group. Fascinating details, along with glimpses to fenced off areas.
