Itinerary

Meet your private guide at the Luxembourg Gardens to begin your walking tour of Paris like a local. Make your way along the streets of the Latin Quarter, passing by the Sorbonne, to reach the Seine, which you cross via Pont St-Louis and Pont Marie.

Then pass by Bibliothèque Forney, Village St-Paul, and Place de Voges before checking out, a concept store that sells stylish home goods and accessories. Continue to an organic boulangerie (bakery) for a tasting, and then visit a vintage shop and a local bookshop. Stop by one of Paris' oldest cafes for a cup of coffee before walking over to Place de Republique and the Canal St. Martin. Your tour ends at your last stop, a popular bar where you can enjoy a drink among locals, if you wish (own expense).

What did we think of our "off the beaten tour from our private guide in the Lain Quarter of Paris"

the guide was friendly and personable, however, his knowledge, unfortunately from our point of view was too general/common which anyone who took the most basic world history course in high school or college would have known. It did not feel like an "off the beaten path" tour giving us information that only a local could present, although the highlight was a nice street we did not know about which is Rue Mouffetard.

Had a wonderful morning with Andrea! He is a true Parisian at heart and is passionate about the city. When he heard this was my first time in Paris he quickly adapted his tour and customized it so that I could get the most of the tour and orient myself in the city. Had a wonderful morning talking about art, philosophy, architecture and all things Paris! Genuinely happy to have made his acquaintance and I highly recommend him as a tour guide!

Absolutely excellent! I was delighted to receive emails from Isabel advising us to reschedule our tour given demonstrations in the area we were going to tour. She offered to take us that day and re route our tour or take us another day. We opted to reschedule for the next day. Isabel was most informative, fun, and easy to be with, sharing with us her favorite parts of the city at leisurely pace, that made us feel like Parisians.
