Guide did not show consistent with other reviews which I should have listened to. No apology. No care factor on Viator's part. Whole morning wasted. DONT USE VIATOR.

Tour is one hour total (outside, then inside) but you can stay inside as long as you want after tour. Guide Anais provides excellent history/background on the church and ideas of restoration/renovation.

No happy at all. Although post a detailed conversation phone to Viator complaining, we received an email so far confirming that a refund would be forthcoming. Its been two days and still no refund on credit.
As to the tour, we proceeded on our own a d enjoyed Notre Damn.

This tour was exactly what I expected. There was a huge festival going on in the square so it was quite noisy. I would just recommend some voice amplification system for the guide, it was difficult to hear. The tour itself was wonderful and the priority access to the cathedral was very helpful.

I contacted the Viator office so they could alert our tour guide that we were running late for our 10 AM tour of Notre Dame Cathedral. We arrived at 10:04 AM. He never came. He was not answering the Viator calls so the agent I talked to on the phone emailed him we waited to 10:35 AM and decided to go in the cathedral ourselves. Very disappointed. I emailed Viator and told them I would like a total refund for a tour that we did not receive.

Our tour guide from Andrey from Costa Rica was nice and knowledgeable. However, no fault of his and similar to our Louvre tour earlier in the day, the meeting place directions were insufficient. We arrived early and had to ask around to find our tour guide. The meeting place was next to the statue- that must be specified in the tour instructions to avoid all confusion. Other people in our tour said the same thing.

No one showed for the tour a tour that viator rebooked . We waited and waited then when we called we were on hold for 20 minutes. Very disappointed as we have gone on other Viator tours and gave high ratings.

Please take no notice of bad reviews, we read them before our tour and were a little apprehensive. However we arrived and our minds were put at ease instantly, unfortunately ive forgotten the name of our guide but cannot thank and praise him enough. He was early, he had us hooked on his every word despite the pouring rain. Then waited until we got in the entrance and waved us off with a big wave and smile.
Just a note, he explained that tour guides are no longer allowed within the cathedral which is why it's not advertised as such.

The Cathedral is amazing! The architecture is outstanding and so is the history of this beautiful monument. The 'tour' however was a massive disappointment. The guide spent no more than 8 minutes talking to us about Victor Hugo and the cathedral bells. He then walked us over to the cathedral and told us we could go in. That was the end of the 'tour'. I educated my son about the cathedral 's history and bought him a book on it as well. This tour is a watre of money and the best part is that they refused to reimburse me. They gave nothing. Its a scam. Its best to enter the cathedral yourself and educate yourself on it.

Tickets to enter the church were fake. We were not allowed to enter. Tickets can be obtain in the church website for free.

The guide never showed. There was no response from the tour company when we chatted them (it’s been over 4 hours no response). Viator tried calling them and no response. Our tour was 2:30pm another group had been waiting since 1:00 for the same group and they never showed up. No tour company name is listed. Would not recommend.
