The journey is very long for a really short time in the stops. The tour guide was a really great guy and accommodated us as best he could. The toilet wasn't accessible on board as apparently no water, made for uncomfortable trip.

Excellent tour guide, information, and driver. We picked this tour specifically as it was one of the few tours that included a visit to Juno Beach. However our stop at Juno Beach was only 15 minutes (barely enough time to walk to the beach, and visit the memorial). We only had a few minutes to visit the building before we had to leave.
At least 30 minutes at Juno Beach would have been nice considering we spent hours at the other sites

Our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable about the history of WWII. She also knew history of the surrounding areas as well. She had a real passion for history. I heard information that I never knew.

Absolutely wanted to do this tour and so glad I did. The 4 hour bus ride was expected and not bad. A chance to rest. The weather was perfect. The problem was that the guide's heavy accent made it almost impossible to understand. Also, there was confusion about the included lunch. Food was great but service was super slow which meant limited time to walk around. Would recommend just eating on your own to save time.

A wonderful day. Tolson was an incredible guide. We visited several historically significant places. The day was long but broken up by well-placed snack and restroom breaks. Free time and lunch in Normandy was wonderful. My friends all thought it was very worth the cost.

Guide shared pertinent info about d day and Omaha beach etc but really very little about the towns and countryside and buildings we saw. He was very engaging and interesting and even funny at times on the info he did share but mostly encouraged us to rest on the bus. I really wanted more information as we drove along. We could have learned so much more but this tour seemed just focused on D day. He pointed out a castle and the rapeseed fields and mistletoe trees but very little else on the 3 hour drive.

We really enjoyed this Normandy experience. It has alot of history and very interesting. The tour bus was on time and made multiple stops.
The town where we stopped for lunch was very cute right on the water. The only thing I would suggest is not to include your lunch with the tour because they give you a limited menu, you do not get to choose from the full menu. I would recommend this tour.

The morning sign in process was very chaotic and could need some improvements. I think for the price we paid, they can do more than stickers to help identify what group we are in. I would also recommend providing a detailed itinerary for the day so we know ahead of time how much time we have at each site as well as how long until the next. Overall, we were given enough time at each site and we are so happy we’re were able to hit on the key points in one day. As Canadians, this was the only one day tour from Paris that had the option to see Juno beach. We were very grateful that we could include this in our trip.

Anne was our guide, and she was phenomenal. Soft spoken on the microphone, she gave us the full linear story/history from the European perspective - and it was detailed and emotionally moving. We also had time to relax in peace and quiet on the comfortable, air conditioned bus, reflecting on the history we were told as we approached the various stops. We had a tight schedule but it was just right. Anne made herself available not only for historical questions, but for questions about restaurants and sights to see in Normandie and Paris, too. She was just a very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable person who made the trip so special. You probably really need a week to see and experience Normandie - but this one-day trip with Anne was a wonderful introduction, making you want to return..

The Normandy experience is humbling when you think about what it signifies, this tour was a perfect way to really understand what our service men sacrificed for us 80 years ago!

Three things:
First, it wasn’t always easy to understand the guide on the bus. The sound system could be better.
Second, we didn’t stop for lunch until after 3pm. Too late, especially if you had dinner reservations for 7 or 8 pm.
Lastly, while the Pullman hotel works as the pickup point, it doesn’t work as the drop off point. Traffic, especially in the area of the Eiffel Tower is very bad. Trying to drive a BUS through the middle of Paris at dinner time is not practical. We weren’t dropped off until almost 9pm. Suggest you pick a drop off spot where it’s not too congested.

We knew there would be limited time at the sites of interest, but we would have had more time to roam if the guide had given background info during the lengthy bus ride, instead of speaking quietly at the sites while we struggled to get close enough to hear him. Bus driver had trouble in some tight situations.

It was great to be able to see Normandy in a day. There's a lot to see, and with the 4 hour bus ride from Paris it can seem short, but our tour guide Steve worked hard for us! He showed us so many great stops, shared history, and answered questions. We even had a medical emergency and he handled it with expert care and kept us on our timeline. The bus driver did a good job navigating us through traffic.
However THE BUS DID NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING! This was a big failure for the tour company and I would not recommend booking with them for this specific reason. We were promised AC and the bus was so hot. The tour company should double-check the AC before every trip. Not sure how this was missed. The tour guide did everything he could.

This was my second trip to the Normandy Beaches and it never ceases to move me. This tour was well-paced for a one day trip out of Paris. The meeting place was easy to find and the tour guides were very well organized. Rest stops along the way were well planned. My only complaint was that the trip is advertised as a maximum of 20 persons and that was one of my reasons for choosing this tour. I was disappointed to see that it was a large bus (approx 40 people) tour. All the other participants were lovely and the guide knowledgeable and entertaining. I've used Viator many times - and will again - so I was surprised that this tour was not what I thought I'd purchased. I would recommend this tour, just understand its size.

Tour guide couldn’t be bothered to lead the tour, walked really fast and wasn’t even around half the time. At one point she told my mother not to bother going down, there was nothing to see. The beach itself was amazing, really appreciate the fact that I got to witness a historical site, but for the price I paid I felt let down by the guide. Half the time she was more concerned with being in the bus, putting on her creams than actually ensuring the group knew where to meet, and so on.

Had a great time visiting and learning about the sacrifice of the men and women during this time. Weather was cold and rainy and the guide was very knowledgeable, we had a good experience.
