All riders are required to successfully pass our test course, demonstrating the skills to competently ride an e-mountain bike on varied terrain. If you are unable to demonstrate the ability to safely ride, you may be cancelled and offered a replacement tour subject to availability. No refund will be offered.
Safety standards that our tour guides look for: Competency in steering and handling varied terrain (turning and cornering without going off trail/track), shifting gears (down shift, up shift, control while shifting and riding), braking (controlled use of both brakes, no skidding, no sudden braking), and overall control (balance, control of pedals, trail debris avoidance, pace) etc.
Closed-toe shoes required.

Greedy Business with No Soul

They failed 3 out of 5 people in our group for being “too slow” and “putting a foot on the ground.” Nowhere on Viator or the ranch’s website did they say the test would be this strict. After that, we were escorted to the ticket office where they told us because we booked on Viator, there would be no refunds and no credit provided to book another tour for the day because “they would lose money.” What about the $600 we lost because they refused refund or credit for another tour? Manager would not budge and said if we were placed on another group we were “taking away money they can be earning selling to other people. Disgusting business I truly hope people read this and find another activity to do. This place is overpriced and their no refund policy is ridiculous. The manager was basically an automated audio recording repeating unjust policies on why refund is refused. Their website needs to have clearer explanation on high failure rate of the test but I guess that would prevent people from wanting to book with them and take away business. Stay away from this greedy place and read other reviews about this happening to other people.
