The Hawke's Bay wine region produces some of New Zealand’s most renowned wines, and is also beloved for its beers and ciders. This afternoon small-group tour lets you sample all three plus enjoy lunch during visits to some of New Zealand’s best tasting spots. Number one would be our tour guide, Kirstey. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire tour was very relaxed and we were not pressed for time. The Wineries we visited and the Brewery were informative and we experienced excellent service at each one. As an aside - the van would be easily accessible for those who have difficulty stepping up into it if there was an extra step up. Our Tour Guide did explain that Safety & Health Regulations restricted the provision of an extra step up.

Trinity Hill, platter, wines and staff. Also lovely ambience. Our tour driver was knowledgeable, fun and exuberant. We enjoyed the small group. The least favourite was the Red Rooster, staff mediocre, samples were too large. Otherwise a fantastic day

John our tour guide picked Bee and I up from our B&B and returned us after the tour . We visited several wineries and our last stop was to taste some local beers and ciders down at one of the Pub's on the broad walk. Each winery visited had its own charms and between wineries John's local knowledge of Napier was warmly received. We were lucky to be the only ones on this particular tour ,so we were a captured audience at every taste site. A fabulous day made better by having someone like John to educate us both on the history of each visited vineyard.
