This tour was awesome! Our guide John was great - he knew a lot about the area and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves! The wineries were all lovely, and we enjoyed the tastings. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the wine making process. The brewery was a nice end to the day. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Napier!

My hubby and I joined this tour as the start of our honeymoon - due to it being off-peak season we had the lovely John as our private tour guide! His knowledge of the region, horticulture, art deco and of course the vineyards is tremendous, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.
We went to 3 vineyards, Brookfields, Church Road and Mission Estate, all offering something different and tasty. We finished the tour in town at Good George where we sampled some cider products before being dropped back to our accom. Was the perfect intro to Napier and we will certainly be back, and stay for longer!! :)

Tere, our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable about wine making, the local area and its history. We were given the choice of visiting 3 vineyards and a brewery, or visiting 4 vineyards with the rest of the participants, and were glad to have opted for wine! The last vineyard was the oldest and the wine was lovely. In Brookfield we were greeted by the owner who explained about the wines and treated us to a glass of a vintage wine that is sadly no longer in production. The trip included a platter of food in the Church Road vineyard which was delicious. This was great value for money and very educational but we couldn’t relax too long at each venue before we had to move on to the next vineyard. Recommended.

Outstanding tour! Spent a half day touring different wineries around the Hawkes Bay region. We went to 3 different wineries and 1 brewery for craft beer/cider. Every stop we made was great and the wine was excellent. The beer we sampled along with the cider was out of this world, I have never had such tasty cider in my life! It was an enjoyable day touring and learning about the history of the wineries and the region. John our tour guide was great, very nice and a joy to spend the afternoon with, he was insightful and knowledgeable of the wine and region. He provided much more info than just wine and made the day even more enjoyable. It always nice to sit with someone and hear the history of a location, yesterday my wife and I had the best of both worlds, we were able to learn the history of the region and enjoy it with some very nice wine tastings! Highly recommend!

Yes, while I do not advertise this, I like to consider that my clients depart with the full Napier experience, not just the wines. We all thoroughly enjoyed our half day wine tour with John. He was very professional and provided great history on Napier that made the driving between wineries very enjoyable. The wineries we visited were beautiful and the tasting's were very informative and well selected. Only suggestion would be to factor in a stop to eat, we were very fortunate to be on this trip as a group and John happily adjusted our tour to accommodate us which we were very grateful. We will definitely be back to do this tour again and have friends planning their next trips with this tour too!!

What a great tour, John was such an excellent host his knowledge of Napier was brilliant and very interesting.
We visited 3 wineries and finished off at a brewery where we were treated to 3 glasses from their beer and cider range.
The tour was very relaxing and we never felt rushed at any point, even when we might have spent a bit longer then expected at one winery.Thanks again John for a lovely day out in Napier.

Even though we had a wet day,it was certainly brightened by Margie with her passionate commentary and good humour. The wine tasting and beer tasting was very generous and most enjoyable. If you are ever in Napier, this company is the one to use.
