Smaller groups must be picked up in town - please mention this in your booking and we will advise your pick-up location. There is a shuttle bus from port to the town, which takes a couple of minutes. This drops you off close to the Masonic hotel)

Fabulous day with great driver/host who took us to 3 very different wineries. Her passion and knowledge of the local area, as well as further afield, meant she could give great advice for our on going travels. The families and staff who explained about the different wines were extremely passionate and knowledgeable. Great company with the other couple who were on the tour, which made it a most enjoyable day sampling fabulous wine. Would highly recommend this tour if you’re in Napier (which is also a fabulous place to visit!) Thank you! 😊

Deidre was so lovely! The whole experience was great – especially loved trinity hill! Can highly recommend even for solo travellers, being in such a small group was great.

From pick up, we knew we were going to have a fun tour with Amanda, our host/driver. She is funny, knowledgeable and friendly. We were a group of six, so nice when it is a small group.
Went to 3 wineries, Swift, Trinity Hill and Church Road. All were fab for different reasons.
The first was Lauren’s baby, Swift, she is the winemaker, and what great wines she is making. Loved the sweetie in particular as it is something different.
Then , Trinity Hill, really knowledgeable guy called Chris, introduced us to lots of the wines, but shared so much of the process and how to really taste them. Loved the reds here.
Church Road is an amazing place. It is a beautiful winery. Worth a visit for what they have built here. Not so keen on the wines, but this is just my take.
Throughout the tour Amanda taught us things about the wine, area and NZ. She made the trip special, so big thanks to her.

Fantastic day trip to the vineyards in Hawke’s Bay. Our host Amanda was not only our tour guide regarding the vineyards but also full of knowledge about the surrounding areas of Napier. Picked up from our hotel and returned several hours later -great day out and 5* for our guide Amanda.

Our cruise excursion with Owen from Prinsy’s Tours was outstanding. This was by far the best vineyard and cellar door tour we have ever experienced. Owen was extremely helpful both before and during the tour. He is highly approachable and friendly, with a great knowledge of not only the wineries, but also the Napier region. Apart from the three wineries visited, Owen also gave us a comprehensive tour of the region’s beautiful scenery, geology and town Art Deco highlights.
The wineries that Owen organised for us to visit all provided very high quality tastings, in terms of the wines, the knowledge input from the winemakers and the food platters provided. The wineries were all very generous in the number and variety of the wines presented.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending this tour. Thank you, Owen, for a wonderful day

3 different winery experiences - all very good. Relaxed pace. Surprisingly at the 2nd winery all of the wines were great! Even foe those that favor reds if whites.

First winery tour in NZ, and it was far better than expected. The tastings and wineries were friendly, intelligent and down-to-earth. You can go deep into wine making and terroir if you wish, or relax and enjoy the unique venues and production from this part of the world. Having done wine tours in several countries, I have to say that Amanda was the most adaptable, fun, engaging and hard working guide we've ever had (thanks for the extra effort in guiding our group to such wonderful experiences!).

Amanda was knowledgeable and attentive to details. She made sure to know the type of wines we prefer and adjusted accordingly. It was well worth the time and money to have a local take you to the various location. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

Amanda was a very delightful, fun tour guide! Great selection of vineyards,, including larger historical wineries to small quaint ones. A beautiful cheese board was included at one of our stops. Only negative would be that time flew by too quickly.
Very informative tour learned so much about Hawke's Bay growing conditions and got a new perspective of Chardonnay and ended up loving it.

Our Bon Vivant, Peter aka Grant showed our group 4 different wineries each of their own characteristics. He had great knowledge of wine growing in the Hawkes Bay region and was a lot fun. Really a wonderful day. We highly recommend this tour.

Great choice of wineries. Deidre was very informative. We covered a lot of area geographically which was great because it let us see more of the surrounding area. I liked the number of wineries at four. Any more would be too many.

Superfun day of wine tasting. We went to three wineries, would have been more but we had a great time speaking to the wine vintners and owners and laughing with the people on tour. Must have tasted 20+ different wines with snacks. Wonderful day.
