It was informative (maybe too much so). Could have been shorter. Way too much talking in my opinion. Same thing over and over. It was definitely an eye opener and something to see for sure. But our guide, Hardick Tank, really insulted me. I was 1 of 2 women with 3 men. I am a regular sized woman- no broader or wider than ANY of the men, yet he called me out and told me I wouldn't fit down the alley so I'd have to shrug/shrink. Ridiculous - as there was plenty of room for me .... and the men for that matter.

Outstanding tour of the daily life in Dharavi. It is really amazing how much business goes on in the area. Our guide Alkama was exceptional. Life changing tour

Rakesh was an excellent guide. Being a resident of Dharavi, he truly knows the ways in and around this fascinating community and neighbourhood. He had a lot to tell about both the commercial areas as well as the residential areas. I left Dharavi with a newfound trust in the human race. I've seen the strongest most beautiful people living together in harmony and in a way: in a unique place of freedom, no matter how hard Dharavi life is.

Très belle rencontre avec l'espoir qui anime la vie économique de ce "slum"

La visite du bidonville de Dharavi est très enrichissante. Il ne s'agit pas de voyeurisme, mais de découvrir comment des projets économiques peuvent se développer dans un quartier aussi précaire que ce "slum" où 1 Mo de personnes vivent sur une surface de 2km carrés. Notre guide nous a mener avec beaucoup d'attention et de pudeur, en s'exprimant avec un Anglais très accessible et en nous apportant moult informations sur l'histoire et la vie de Dharavi. Nous en sommes très reconnaissant. et ne pouvons que vous conseiller cette rencontre.
