We had a fantastic experience on our Mumbai city tour in Mumbai. The tour covered many of the city’s main highlights, but the visit to Dharavi Slum was definitely the standout part of the day.
The Dharavi slum tour was very eye-opening and enlightening. It gave us a real insight into daily life and the strong community and industries there — something you don’t get to see every day. It was respectful, informative, and truly memorable.
Our guide, Miss Shruti, was very friendly and knowledgeable, even though she has only been guiding for about a year. She explained everything clearly and made the tour enjoyable. The driver was also excellent — flexible with the schedule and kind enough to drop us exactly where we wanted at the end.
Highly recommend this Mumbai city tour, especially with the Dharavi slum visit included. Definitely worth it for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

A fabulous day out and about around Mumbai. Naadeem was our guide throughout the day, very knowledgably and kept us informed about everything we saw and India's past. We would never have see so much on our own or known the stories behind the places we visited. Although there is a planned route to take Naadeem and our driver were very flexible with the itinerary allowing for longer or shorter stops whenever we wished. Picked up and dropped off at the cruise terminal which was great. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this tour, probably one of the best day trips we have been on.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this tour or tour company. The tour guide, Ali, was not very good. The tour was supposed to be 5 - 6 hrs. He told me about 30 minutes in that it would only be 3 hrs. He did not want to take us to all the locations as indicated on the itinerary. He wanted to do drive bys in some locations and skip others. He also took me to a local shop that he claimed he had no connection to; however, the shop owner wanted $20 for a magnet. When I didn’t buy the magnet and got upset he was then willing to take me to a different store. He also asked if I had eaten lunch and when I said I had he told me that I was lucky because he and the driver didn’t have time to eat today. He talked on the phone and tried to engage the driver in conversation in Marathi when he was supposed to be giving us a tour of the city.
I will say, the driver, which is different from the tour guide did a good job driving in Mumbai.
Again, I do not recommend this tour company.

We were picked up promptly at our hotel at 8:30am by Mr Satyam our wonderful and expert driver. Mumbai traffic is serious and your driver matters. Big shout out to Mr Satyam for getting us all over safely. We headed northward to visit the Dharvi Slum first (this wasn’t part of our booked tour but we added it on). Once we got close we met our guide Max who gave us some history of the Slum and denoted its proximity to the transportation and its location between the North and South of Mumbai. It was an eye-opening experience and a very powerful one. We saw the industrial side (recycling and leather making) residential areas, markets & alleys. Once we had a thorough and insightful visit there Mr Satyam picked us up and whisked us off towards the rest of our adventure. It was interesting to see the Dhobi Ghat open air laundry, Mumbai Costal Road, Malabar Hill, clock tower, train station, Crawford Market, Taj Mahal Place Hotel and perhaps the most famous Monument in the City the Gateway of India. Max gave us really fantastic information regarding everything and every time we went back towards the car Mr Satyam picked us up to continue onward. I should add we added on the Slum tour separately but they offer that as a stand alone tour. I wouldn’t hesitate to do either of these tours offered by Linda Tours. After two days touring with them I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

It was a very worthwhile introduction to Mumbai, from the elegant old British time buildings/architecture to the harsh daily grind of the open laundry Dhoby Ghat. Our tour guide Ganesh was excellent at explaining and providing background information on the sites visited.

Riye and Denish teamed up to show us the City. They did a wonderful job. We saw things that we didn't expect to see such as the laundry area in the slums. Although the slums was on our itinerary and so was the laundry, the experience walking inside the slums and climbing to the third floor of someone's house was unreal. The rest was well coordinated and both guides were very informative and courteous. We would gladly recommend the tour and the team.

We had a great time in Mumbai with Shruti and Santosh guiding us through all the sites of Mumbai with the slums, laundry point, train station, gate, Antilla, Ghandi museum, hanging gardens and marine drive as some of the key highlights. Set a specific pick up time. No wifi so did not get the change from 9am to between 9.30 and 10 pick up. Waited for an hour for others who turned up at 10.

This tour did not match what was promised it was not 5-6 hours. Many things were just drive bus rather than getting a short time at them. We did not go to hanging gardens or Crawford market. Drove by Chowpatty beach, Taj Palace was an overpriced carpet/ jewellery shop next door. Our friends on the cruise did other much better smaller tours for the same price. Guide spoke good English but definitely felt he was trying to get it over and done with. There were 16 in our group. Better tours can be found on Viator in my opinion.

Great day with our guide. A company rep met us at the gate as advised and our driver and guide were waiting for us. We got to see all the sites in Mumbai that we wanted. Gandhi’s house was an interesting visit; as were the Victoria station and the “laundry”. Seeing the vast difference between the rich and poor….. no middle of the road. The never ending haze spoiled all scenic views. The tour was spoiled by a group from the Caribbean who nearly started a fight with an elderly couple over a seat and were always late back to the bus.
