I was picked up by my guide and driver at my hotel. We visited Dhobi Ghat outdoor laundry, Hanging Gardens and Nehru Childrens Park and then Gandhi house and museum with great dioramas of pivotal moments in his remarkable life. Chapman indoor market I allowed me to buy a few items. Lots of discussion of life in India and Mumbai. Worthwhile tour. Asca legally blind solo traveler, my guide Oves took great care to keep me safe especially on uneven surfaces and stairs. Note: every pedestrian jaywalks since cross walks are rare here

The tour was truly wonderful. We visited the most interesting places in Mumbai and at the same time learned a great deal about the city’s history. Our guide, Akash, was highly knowledgeable and well educated, spoke excellent English, and was elegant and professional in his manner. I went on this tour with my girlfriend so we could explore the city I was born in but never really get to see when I'm just visiting family. First of all, I need to shoutout how well organized this group is. Our tour guide, Chirag, and our driver (Vasim I believe), were both incredible and were able to pick me up at my family's house even though it was not one of the pickup options. Secondly, Chirag was also super knowledgeable and able to answer all kinds of questions rather than just dumping facts. The chosen sights for this tour were really incredible and helped me appreciate the history of the city and see parts of it I never would have on my own, and our guide did a great job of helping immerse us in the history. The standouts for me were definitely the Dhobi Ghat, the Hanging Gardens, and of course the Gateway of India, but there were many other cool things to see.
Overall, I definitely recommend taking this tour even if you were born here like me but want to see more of the city than just your family's house and neighborhood.

We where on a cruise and I researched Viator on trip advisor for excursions from cruise ships.They are a third cheaper then ship,very good organisation,drivers usally whatsap you instructions day before,used them in phuket and mumbai.excellent we even asked to miss a few places and take us fabulous shopping mall in mumbai,for an hour and a half.Can highly receommend this company

This was not up to Viator usual standard. Had it not been for my friend who knows Mumbai well, it would have been even worse. I understand that they were busier than usual and had a freelance guide. Other friends had super guides and thoroughly enjoyed their tours.

Overpriced and under delivered - not what we were promised or paid for
Guide and driver were vey professional although the private car was very basic.
Guide asked us what we were doing and asked for a copy of the itinerary for the excursion-lucky we took it! Why would the guide not know what we had paid for with Viator?
No bottled water was available, no WiFi
Tour was advertised as 4 to 6 hours - we were dropped back to the port within 3 hours
Beware this is a total rip off-local onshore tours or a taxi is less than half the cost.

I booked this tour last-minute and was relieved to have such a wonderful time with our guide, Subhan, and our driver Wasim. Communication was superb before and throughout, Subhan was extremely knowledgable and easy to be around. We were able to customize our tour in real time, and with Wasim's driving and Subhan's direction, we were able to see everything I wanted in the limited time we had available. I could not imagine our Mumbai trip without this experience!

Due to traffic and crowds, heat and lack of a/c, a private car and guide is essential. We loved our guide Priti. She knew where to go and provided good information and answers not to mention she was well spoken and knowledgeable. We will always remember her.

This was a great half-day tour. Priti, the tour guide, spoke great English and gave fantastic insights into the sights. Our driver, Depak, was very professional and safe. I did not have a lot of time in Mumbai, but I was really glad I took this tour.

My dad and I toured with Yash. He along with a separate driver showed up at our hotel a couple minutes early and we got going right away. This was one of our best experience going with local tour operators. Our guide Javed was very knowledgeable, informative, friendly and accommodating to our needs. We spent more time in some places and skipped a couple of places based on our requests. We even asked to be picked up and dropped off at different hotels. Our driver, Deepak, navigates the chaotic Mumbai traffic skillfully and safely. We are so happy with their service and highly recommend them!

We were picked up at the airport at 5 PM but it was long after dark before we actually got into Mumbai and we saw some of the lighted sights. No fault of the tour driver-there was a high politician who came into Mumbai and traffic was stopped, diverted and tied up for hours. This had not been a long planned visit so be aware when you go-anything could happen. The Arch, walking distance from the Taj Mahal Hotel and Tower, has an interesting exposition at night worth viewing-just expect a crowd! We loved our driver and tried to get him another day!!

Our guide Sharon was very informative and always careful about our safety. The history she spoke of was rich and detailed, and was told when we were ready. The car was air conditioned and the driver drove smoothly through the different areas. Definitely recommend.

Busy day. Water provided. Taxi driver and guide. Kavitha our young guide spoke good English and took us to all the sites of interest. Won’t forget Dhobi Ghat from its metal roof or the contrast with the Taj Hotel.
