As our outstanding guide David explained, this is not the place to see monkeys or sloths, rather the incredible and unique forest and its treasures. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate and friendly, our guide shared some fascinating facts about the environment, as well as historic context and we were lucky enough to spot a spectacular quetzal! We all had a fantastic experience, and warmly recommend this tour!

The park is stunning as are the hanging bridges. Unfortunately our tour was not worth the money. We were a group of 16 and one of the two guides didn’t show. The single guides didn’t have time to stop and show us much and made little effort to talk to those not right beside him (in Spanish) when was supposed to be an English tour. Genuinely loved the park but the extra $60 a head for the guide was a total waste of money.

A group of that size should always have the appropriate number of guides, and English-language explanations should be consistently provided throughout the tour. A little disappointed. It was rainy, which is not unexpected, but didn't see much wildlife. Overall not worth it for the price.

When we arrive to the hike, der was a lot of people, we was told that our hike , wasnt with a guide, byt we booked a guided tour..
So after bridge no 2, we turned arround, and met the guide, who has started the hike .
He was very kind, but we saw not much of the wild life, a few flowers and a beautiful bird thats it..
A very disapointing hike..

Hello, thank you for your comment, we try to do our best so that our visitors have an excellent experience, however, nature is unpredictable and we always observe different types of wildlife, thank you very much for expressing your opinion, Well it is also difficult to observe wildlife when you walk along the trail talking loudly and throwing rocks everywhere and without paying the least attention to the guide and that is what happened I tried to show animals but they did not show any interest and this can also affect the performance of the guide and minimize the number of animals you can find I'm sorry but it is difficult to show animals to people who do not show respect for nature and the environment.

We did the hanging bridges, with Johnny as a guide. Johnny is a very nice guide with a lot of humor who can tell you a lot about the flora in the park. So it won't be Johnny!
If this is your first time going into the jungle of Costa Rica, then it is beautiful. But we had already done Tortuguero and La Fortuna, both during the day and in the evening. And then it's very pricey: $56 pp for entrance park + $30 pp for the guide, while you only see plants. We could have skipped this one...

Our cloud forests are rare and unique, with only 1% of the rainforest being cloud forest. The flora and fauna in the area are unique and very special. Sadly, I couldn't show you how special and unique the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica is.

ES UNA ESTAFA. UN TIMO. En la descripción de la actividad no especifica que NO SE INCLUYE la entrada a los puentes (que se tienen que pagar allí por unos 40 por persona). Esta actividad únicamente incluye un guía turístico (viene abajo en pequeño caso inobservable). Hemos reclamado el dinero al guía y nos ha tratado MUY mal de una manera muy irrespetuosa, maleducada y tosca. Ha sido una situación muy incómoda, en la que nos ha empezado a vacilar y a jactarse de nosotras porque claramente él sabe que es un anuncio engañoso, y estaba feliz de que hubiésemos picado y que no tuviese que hacer su trabajo. NO COMPRÉIS ESTA EXPERIENCIA

En la oferta ponía visita a los puentes colgantes con guía naturalista..cuando hemos llegado cual ha sido nuestra sorpresa que teníamos que pagar la entrada del guía y la de toda nuestra familia. En el email de confirmación es en el único lugar donde ponía que la entrada era a parte. Como hemos contratado con menos de 24 horas no hemos visto el emali de confirmación hasta esta mañana. El guía, un sinvergüenza, ha desaparecido y nos ha dicho que ha sido una confusión.e seamos a la espera de la devolución. Muy lamentable situación delante de nuestros hijos. Muy lamentable situación en vacaciones.

On the day of the tour, our guide stopped by the hotel shortly before the scheduled start time to check in and confirm availability, but unfortunately we were unable to reconnect and proceed with the experience as planned. As tours operate on a fixed schedule to respect other guests and park access times, it was not possible to delay the departure.
