We had the pleasure of having Roy as our tour guide. Roy was very knowledgeable, friendly & very entertaining! We enjoyed every moment in the forest learning about the counties native plants & species. Having a tour guide made our experience a lot more enjoyable because they have a top of the line telescope and are able to spot things we couldn’t if we were to explore the park on our own. We had a wonderful experience and we would love to come back in the future!

We had the pleasure of having Roy as our tour guide. Roy was very knowledgeable, friendly & very entertaining! We enjoyed every moment in the forest learning about the counties native plants & species. Having a tour guide made our experience a lot more enjoyable because they have a top of the line telescope and are able to spot things we couldn’t if we were to explore the park on our own. Leisurely walk through woods, guides are excellent and keep groups to about 6 people. Saw many species of birds

Our scheduled guide couldn’t make it.. so Adam filled in and did wonderful! Many hard to see birds of the area!

Brilliant tour through the reserve. Our guide Loan was very knowledgeable and gave us loads of information that was clearly tailored to our interests. Highlights were spotting Quetzal and wild boar.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the local flora and fauna. We were able to see many species of birds, mammals, and frogs. He did not make us feel rushed and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy being in nature.
On previous guided tours in other locations, I have had a difficult time seeing birds even after the guide has pointed them out. Because Curicancha is less dense than other more densely forested areas, I was able to spot the wildlife much easier which made the experience more enjoyable than I expected.

We had a wonderful tour with David! He is very knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to spot several amazing birds, including quetzals, a toucanet, and a mot-mot. David helped us take beautiful photos through his scope. Highly recommend!

The park has so many different areas with the opportunity to see many different specifies! Our guide Dennis was like a magician- pointing his scope into seemingly endless green and finding incredible birds and animals! We saw three sets of nests with baby birds, including CR Toucans! You can sometimes see monkeys, sloths, quetzals (!), toucans, and on and on.

I was the only customer so had the guide to myself. Roy was very knowledgeable and kind.
It was disappointing not to see the Quetzal they can’t guarantee those things I understand.
I saw so many hummingbirds. It would make your head spin. It was very peaceful there, so that’s nice overloaded with tourists.

I am Really sorry four you that you can Not see the quetzal. But it's an open forest, not a zoo where animals are guaranteed.

My family and I spent the first of our two days in Monteverde exploring Curi-Cancha, and I'm so glad we chose to book a guided tour. Our guide, Deyber, had a great sense of humor and was deeply knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the forests in Monteverde. We were happy just to learn so much from him, but we also had the immense luck of seeing both a quetzal and sloth, as well as a tarantula, agouti, and many other species of birds and insects.
On our second day in Monteverde, we explored the cloud forests via the Selvatura hanging bridges (self-guided), and our experience was so much richer because of all that we had learned from Deyber about the ecosystem on our tour the day before.
I can't recommend this experience enough — it's one my family will never forget. Thanks, Deyber!

Deyber nos ayudó a contemplar al maravilloso quetzal. Sabía exactamente dónde podíamos avistarlo y así fue. Nos contó muchísimas cosas sobre la fauna y flora local, todo con un trato amigable y cercano.

Der Guide ist nicht gekommen und hat auch nicht auf entsprechende Nachfragen reagiert. Vor der Tour hatten wir Mailkontakt, doch nichts mehr von ihm gehört seit er nicht gekommen ist. Das Geld habe ich (stand einige Tage später) noch nicht wieder bekommen

This review is not fer because the guide was ther on the reserve and also was waithing for you 10 minuts.. The tour was 7:30 am. And the guide waith for you 10 minuts and not be Able to waith any longer becouse the group was ther on time. You Came late. That's way you Didn't find us.
