Fun tour; our pickup was...

Fun tour; our pickup was an hour late without communication but we did get going finally. Could have ditched the 2 stops for shopping. It would be best of the Frida Kahlo tickets were included in the tour and ditched the shopping. We had a fun group and we were glad we went!

The worst tour guide ever, I waited at the pick up point for than half an hour and no one showed or came to pick me up. They have wasted my time. Will cancel the other packages I have booked with them So bad 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Nothing good. Bad organization started with the pick up. I was picked up at 8:15 and the tour started not before 10:00. I had to stay in the bus all the time. For some reason we had to wait for some passengers. We had to visit first thing in the morning a silver workshop for which I had no interest at all. Frida Kahlo part is only for 5 minutes for taking photos from the outside. So the title of the tour is misleading. Don’t have any illusions of visiting the museum. When we arrived at Xochimilco our boat was not reserved. We were offered the alternatives of waiting for at least 30 minutes or cancel the tour. When we asked whether we would be reimbursed the guide told us to contact the agency. I came back to my hotel after 9 hours, exhausted and regretted for taking this tour.

Terrible guide and operator, misleading tour title

The tour description misled to include Freda Kahlo entry - what you get is the view of the outside walls. The tour operator and tour guide were arrogant on this and insisted despite clear documentation describing this. The tour guide had a poor handling of English and despite the tour describing g an English guide we received only partial English. Many of the sites included as part of the itenary are only glimpses of them that you get pointed out from a great distance. The overall service was poor, with little coordination and handling. When trying to manage the poor service with Viator and the tour operator- only received repeated poor service and arrogance. Definitely the worst experience- avoid at all costs

Misleading and boring

Spent three days calling and texting back-and-forth trying to get a pick up location. Tour was boring and multiple markets that weren’t part of the tour were money grabs. My English tour was 15sec increments of info cause they mixed the groups. We were rushed through every section and took a three second photo in front of Frida kahlo‘s museum. Tickets not included like description. Boats are cool but even the food on the boat, you’re told afterwards how much it cost. Guide was obnoxious and was actively annoying people infront of us. Wouldn’t recommend.

Booking this tour, I thought I booked a 5 hour tour including a ticket to the Frida Kahlo museum. That was not the case.... this is a full day tour with the first 3 hours spent to visit a jewelry shop (a partner of the TO I guess), then the Xochimilco and the museum outside.... As our guide said and i quote : "We will visit and take pictures from outside. Inside pictures are not allowed so you might as well say you visited" I would not recommend this tour. You may visit those sites on your own in half the time and money.

Definitely A Day to Remember. We had originally scheduled a visit to sochimilico Frida Karla Museum however there was some issues with not being able to obtain tickets to the Frida Karla Museum however our tour guide maximiliano recommended other options which we chose to visit Mixquic. So happy we chose to visit the cemetery in a very small town outside of El Centro. We were honored to see how beautiful the locals decorated the Tombstones and remembrance of their loved ones full of color music food definitely one of the most memorable trips ever. The church San Andres de Mixquic was absolutely breathtaking. Thank you Maximiliano and our driver Andres.

Operator Y&D Travel did not provide all services

After purchasing the package which was supposed to include a tour of the Frida House Museum, I expected we would be touring the museum. However once getting on the van the tour guide said we would only stop at the museum to take pictures of the outside of the house. I called and sent messages to the operator Y&D Travel and they did not respond. I then contacted Viator to request a refund for the entry tickets, that I did not receive and Viator message back to me was that the refund was denied. They said Y&D Travel told them they provided all services paid for, which is not true. I sent Viator screen shots of what I purchased and what the itinerary was supposed to be and even though we did not tour the museum which was part of the itinerary the refund was still denied. I would suggest purchasing tours through Viator if they are going to use operators who take money for services they not provide. In addition, I requested an English speaking tour, however the tour guide continued to speak mostly Spanish throughout the tour, since most of the people on the tour understood Spanish. When he did speak English, the explaination of what he was talking about was very limited compared to when he was explaining in Spanish. I wish I would be able to post screen shots of what was purchased, the itinerary and my attempts to contact Y&D Travel with no response. I have used Viator many times, but after this experience, im not sure I will use them again if they continue to use operators like Y&D Travel

Fun and Stress-Free Visit to Mexico City Historical Sites

We had an incredible tour, led by Carlos/Charlie! He was a funny and interesting guide who struck the delicate balance of providing enough information without talking too much or keeping us standing in one spot for too long. We learned some fascinating history about the university and the 1968 Olympic Games during our visit to UNAM. At Xochimilco our group had a private boat tour with a delicious lunch and drinks provided (for an additional fee). The boat ride was amazing, and we were even joined by a mariachi band for a while! We ended the tour in the Centro de Coyacan, where we were provided some free time to explore. We indulged in churros while we walked around the area, which has a very old church, shops, and restaurants. Carlos/Charlie wrapped up the day by walking us to the Museo de Frida Kahlo and sharing some of the area's history. Museum tickets are not provided in the cost of the tour; if you want to visit the museum you will need to book your own tickets. Even though the museum tickets were not included, this tour was money well spent! We had a great time and would recommend that anyone interested in any of these sites book a tour!

I was not expecting to be the only client in the tour. So it became a private tour. Mr. Rafael is a great tour guide! Eddie , the driver was very courteous and drove safely! I had a great time as I was not rushed and enjoyed experiencing each location of the tour.

My feedback is not about this tour itself but is a complaint regarding the reservation: I had a booked a tour "Xochimilco, Coyoacan and Frida Kahlo Museum Tour" which included admission to the Frida Kahlo Museum (booking ref 1120456399), but we were taken on a tour which included University City but not admission to the Frida Kahlo museum. The Xochimilco part of the tour was very nice and Coyoacan is a very charming and interesting place. But because of the visit to University City (which, frankly, I could have done without), we did not get much time in Coyoacan, on top of not being able to visit the Frida Kahlo museum. The tour guide, Ursula, was very good, but I am very disappointed that the tour was not the one that I had signed up for.

It started with the description of the tour. It said in the description frida'museum included. And it didn't give no box to click add option once continuing with the purchase. Kindly the travel agent talked to me the same day. thay I booked this tour. Ok. No big deal however. The rest of the trip was a real crashing technique experience of how you can die in a car accident. The driver was cutting off every little car, big busses, everything on the roads. He even go on the lanes of pedestrians to make turns. He pushed the brakes so fast that the people in the back were bouncing like potatoes. A real time movie crashing experience. The tour guide could be more social. He has great humor and knows his tour. Xochimilco is a beautiful river that it gets difficult to enjoy. The boats held in the river like traffic in Mexico city, Los Angeles, New York. It is so many boats that hit into each other to get space to turn back and forth. That attraction could generate more tourism if the rravel company benefits the awareness of respecting the country with organization and respect to the people in the car by providing safety awareness workshops.

Misleading tour description

This tour was honestly just okay. The description is completely misleading - it makes it sound like it is a fully guided tour, but it is more like having a part time chaperone. I thought we would have a guide that would walk us through all the different parts of the neighborhood and the museum, explaining important historical facts along the way. Instead our tour guide only accompanied us in the car, gave us descriptions at each stop, and then left us alone to explore every place. It would be easier and cheaper just to buy your own tickets and get your own Ubers in this case. The guide was friendly but the tour description was 100% not accurate. The pro of this tour was the car. I appreciated that it was big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably
