Jack was a great tour guide! Originally from London, he’s been in CDMX for 5 years and knows a lot of great insider tops on the area. The neighborhoods were beautiful and the churros and tacos were soooo good!

If you are a first timer to Mexico city as we were, start your trip off with this walking tour!
Lalo was warm and knowledgable, expertly navigating several neighbourhoods. We quickly felt at ease in Mexico City ( and walked 18,000 steps in the process! We had amazing churros (GF) and the best tacos I've ever had. Well worth the time/$

Spent a lovely time with Laila, around condessa and roma norte.
Learnt heaps about the area and mexico in general. It was a perfect introduction to Mexico- relaxed, fun and informative. Can not recommend Laila highly enough.
Thankyou

Jack is great. He knows the city and has great suggestions. He guided us to a great jazz club where we had a great time.

It was amazing and so well organized. Jack was engaging and helpful. He provided such specific and detailed information to the group on many topics related to CDMX.

Jack was great and helped us get a feel for Mexico City, particularly Condesa, Roma and Juarez, at the start of our trip. Very nice informal, chatty tour, that set us up well for the rest of our time there with a great taco stop and list of recommendations after the tour that were super useful.

This tour was wonderfully led by Jack who takes you on a visit to trendy, unique areas not on the list of usual spots to see in Mexico City. Jack lends his expertise to explain about the history of the area and provides valuable recommendations on further places to visit which provides a valuable guide esp to first time visitors.

This was a very good way to get oriented in the neighborhoods. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend it.

Jack knows a lot about history and is an avid traveler which adds context and texture to his tour. He is very engaging and enthusiastic. He treated us to delicious street tacos, some of the best food we have eaten during our time in Mexico

Jack was simply the best! His passion for Mexico City came through in his great introductions of the areas along with a historical background. All interesting and relevant. Our 2+ hours with him flew by! We highly recommend this tour with Jack!

Our guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, easy to understand, and since he lived in the neighborhood, he really knew all the ins and outs. He followed up with a list of all the places we visited and recommended which was a really nice touch and showed his passion. It was an excellent, excellent tour.

Thank you, Jack, for an absolutely fantastic tour on March 18th! Your expertise, energy, and knowledge turned our day into so much more than just sightseeing—it was an incredible tour into the city's culture, history, and hidden gems we’d never have found on our own. We loved every moment, from the fascinating stories to the incredible stops—El Moro was delicious, and the tacos were outrageously good! Your recommendations were fabulous, and we can’t wait to explore more of the places you suggested.

Having Jack as a tour guide was like having a friend in the city. Jack was full of interesting and useful information. He provided wonderful insights about the neighborhoods, bringing out their personalities. A nice touch was the yummy food - churros, street al pastor tacos, and a veggie torta for my non-red meat eating hubby! In addition, Jack’s communication before, during and after the tour was great. Highly recommend this tour. It’s a wonderful introduction to the city.

Really was a fantastic tour, especially if it's your first time in CDMX and want to get a feeling of where to go and what to see, Jack was a brilliant tour guide, very friendly and enthusiastic, well recommended!

Jack walked our group through Roma, Juarez, and La Condesa. We learned so much and had such a good time it was difficult to believe that it was three hours. Jack leaves plenty of time for photos, and also provides excellent information on history and background of the neighborhoods we visited. Jack sent us all a thank you for taking his tour and a list of his favorite restaurants to check out.
Andrea_M, Jan 2025
Jack was a delightful tour guide. Very responsive to our inquiries. We were able to explore the three neighborhoods and received a great overview and tips for the remainder of our stay. We also appreciated that he was early

We had a great time exploring La Condesa, Roma, and Juarez with Jack on our first full day in CDMX. The tour was a great overview of these neighborhoods, and Jack provided insights on life in the CDMX, and the neighborhoods' development and architecture along with suggestions for fun things to do, places to go (both well-known and off the beaten path), and streets that are nice to wander through. The churros and tacos we had were delicious. Unlike tours that rush you from Point A to Point B and push shopping on you, this tour felt like you were visiting with a friend and exploring his neighborhood.

This walking tour is a great way to start your Mexico City trip. Jack gives an excellent background on the city and the neighborhoods.
Yazdi_B, Dec 2024
Great experience with Jack!!! he is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to customize the tour to the audience
NikolettErika_S, Dec 2024
I really enjoyed this walking tour. It was the right combination of information, fun conversation and treats (churros and tacos). Jack's perspective of the city is a bit different as he discovered it all for himself a few years ago. He is knowledgeable about the history and background of the areas, but also presents an expat's view of living in the city. I walked away with a great list of recommendations as to things to discover next from rooftop bars, to markets, jazz clubs, dancing and other sights/neighborhoods that I would not have known about otherwise. The tour does exactly what it promises. It is a fun introduction to the neighborhoods, in the company of interesting people. A great jumping off point for someone getting to know the city! Highly recommended!
Jamie_B, Oct 2024
Great tour. The walking was well paced, and Jack was very knowledgeable. I appreciated all the recommendations for restaurants and bars to visit, we checked out 2 of them after the tour finished!
Matthew_R, Oct 2024
This was a great intro to the cool parts of CDMX - I'd never been to the city before and it was great to get the low-down on bars, restaurants/food and some places to see. Totally recommend this tour for a CDMX first-timer to get your bearings before starting exploring the city for yourself!
lynn_h, Oct 2024
I enjoyed the Parque Mexico and the variety of architecture. The guide, Jack, was gracious, warm, and knowledgeable.
Marilyn_M, Jul 2024
This is my first time in Mexico City. Lalo brought the city to life and helped me both to orient myself to the city and appreciate its beauty, history, and culture.
Douglas_M, Apr 2024
Great introduction to the coolest areas of Mexico City. Jack was a very friendly and informative guide who gave us lots of tips for places to visit during our stay, as well as information about local history and culture. One of the best walking tours we've been on.
Melanie_S, Feb 2024
Jack was a friendly and helpful tour guide with great recommendations and knowledge of the city. We loved his restaurant/food recommendations, and the taco place he took us to was the best tacos we had the whole trip! He was friendly, approachable, and knew a lot about the neighborhoods. It's a nice way to get to know the more hipster areas of CDMX and learn some history too!
Kyle_L, Jan 2024
We were hosted by Lalo and the experience was fantastic. The tour has been well thought out and allows you to try local food including the tacos but also some things that you wouldnt usually try as a tourist - specific fruits from the market, tortilla from the manufacturer and small treats at the meat market. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the area or staying in the area. We did this tour on our first day and it allowed us to get comfortable with where everything was, local customs and points of significance. Thanks again - we will be recommending more folks your way.
