We walked during the entire tour but were offered opportunities to take a break. Wear comfortable shoes! The guide Lalo was informative, pointed out places of interest and the history behind the sights. He also made restaurant recommendations based on our interests.
This was such a fun tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable and gave amazing tips. The street food stops were also 💯
The very best tour we have ever taken. Jack was everything you could want in a guide—he knew the neighborhoods, the architecture, the history, the restaurants and bars as well as so much local lore. There was nothing rote about this tour. He was a natural at giving info in an interesting way and answering all questions. We finished the tour feeling we had both learned so much while having so much fun. The food was good too!

This tour was EXCELLENT!!! Jack was so knowledgeable and we had an engaging conversation throughout the tour. While this tour is recommended early on your visit to Mexico City, I took it on my last day and it was still very helpful to me. Can’t recommend it enough.
Excellent introduction and overview of our local neighborhoods! His tour was filled with history, current events, places to eat, architecture, etc. His warm and welcoming personality made the tour top notch!
Jack was a great tour guide! Originally from London, he’s been in CDMX for 5 years and knows a lot of great insider tops on the area. The neighborhoods were beautiful and the churros and tacos were soooo good!

Lalo was warm and knowledgable, expertly navigating several neighbourhoods. We quickly felt at ease in Mexico City ( and walked 18,000 steps in the process! We had amazing churros (GF) and the best tacos I've ever had. Well worth the time/$

Jack was great and helped us get a feel for Mexico City, particularly Condesa, Roma and Juarez, at the start of our trip. Very nice informal, chatty tour, that set us up well for the rest of our time there with a great taco stop and list of recommendations after the tour that were super useful.
This tour was wonderfully led by Jack who takes you on a visit to trendy, unique areas not on the list of usual spots to see in Mexico City. Jack lends his expertise to explain about the history of the area and provides valuable recommendations on further places to visit which provides a valuable guide esp to first time visitors.

Our guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, easy to understand, and since he lived in the neighborhood, he really knew all the ins and outs. Having Jack as a tour guide was like having a friend in the city. Jack was full of interesting and useful information. He provided wonderful insights about the neighborhoods, bringing out their personalities. A nice touch was the yummy food - churros, street al pastor tacos, and a veggie torta for my non-red meat eating hubby! In addition, Jack’s communication before, during and after the tour was great. Jack walked our group through Roma, Juarez, and La Condesa. We learned so much and had such a good time it was difficult to believe that it was three hours. Jack leaves plenty of time for photos, and also provides excellent information on history and background of the neighborhoods we visited. We had a great time exploring La Condesa, Roma, and Juarez with Jack on our first full day in CDMX. The tour was a great overview of these neighborhoods, and Jack provided insights on life in the CDMX, and the neighborhoods' development and architecture along with suggestions for fun things to do, places to go (both well-known and off the beaten path), and streets that are nice to wander through. The churros and tacos we had were delicious. Unlike tours that rush you from Point A to Point B and push shopping on you, this tour felt like you were visiting with a friend and exploring his neighborhood.
This walking tour is a great way to start your Mexico City trip. Jack gives an excellent background on the city and the neighborhoods.

I really enjoyed this walking tour. It was the right combination of information, fun conversation and treats (churros and tacos). Jack's perspective of the city is a bit different as he discovered it all for himself a few years ago. He is knowledgeable about the history and background of the areas, but also presents an expat's view of living in the city. I walked away with a great list of recommendations as to things to discover next from rooftop bars, to markets, jazz clubs, dancing and other sights/neighborhoods that I would not have known about otherwise. The tour does exactly what it promises. It is a fun introduction to the neighborhoods, in the company of interesting people. A great jumping off point for someone getting to know the city! Highly recommended!
Great tour. The walking was well paced, and Jack was very knowledgeable. I appreciated all the recommendations for restaurants and bars to visit, we checked out 2 of them after the tour finished!
This was a great intro to the cool parts of CDMX - I'd never been to the city before and it was great to get the low-down on bars, restaurants/food and some places to see. Totally recommend this tour for a CDMX first-timer to get your bearings before starting exploring the city for yourself!
