Fun evening of wrestling with tasty tacos and mescal

A fun couple of hours of wrestling followed by tacos at a local restaurant and sampling a couple of different mezcals. A good way to meet people while also catching the wrestling.

Not worth the price

We paid $80 for a Lucha Libre “tour” with tacos and tequila that really didn’t live up to expectations. The guide was friendly but showed up very late and seemed disorganized. We didn’t get much of an actual tour or explanation, and because we arrived late, our seats were way up in the stands with an obstructed view. The tacos provided were obviously the cheap, greasy kind and cheap tequila/alcohol. It was definitely not what we expected for the price. Overall the experience was disappointing and not worth $80 per person.

This tour was dreadful & overpriced. Supposed to start at 5. Got a text earlier that day to meet at a closed market place at 6. We then got a nearly one hour walking tour of the closed market place. We thought we were getting Tacos & Mescal. When after nearly 90 minutes we finally got to the Taco place we were bought maybe $5 worth of Tacos & 2 beers. Then the tour guide produced a bottle of Mescal out of her back pack. Then we went to the arena and had to wait half an hour while the tour guide tried to find our tickets. They ended up being on the top level nearly the back row and not facing the projection screens. Not sure how much the tour company paid for the tickets if anything as our tickets had 'gratis' written in the priceline. I heard that you can but good seats for $20.

A fun niight cheering for craziness

Arlette was energetic, knowledgeable and an amazing amount of fun to hang our with for tacos, mezcal and wrestling. She kept the group entertained, fed, and got us all through a hectic experience of getting into the event. Calling it crazy to enter the arena does not do it justice. She did wonderfully. Biggest recoommendation is to bring cash for the event as the vendors inside only take pesos. Highly recommend the event and Arlette as a guide.
