What To Expect

After hotel pickup in Medellin, enjoy a scenic drive to the summit of an elevated hill in an air-conditioned minivan. Feel your pulse quicken as you approach the lush hilltop and see daring paragliders soar through the air.

Greet your professional instructor and listen to a comprehensive safety briefing before donning your protective equipment. Clamber into your parachute in tandem with your guide and dive from your hillside perch into the air.

The mild temperatures and intermediate wind level of the area make Medellin one of the world’s prime paragliding destinations, ensuring your instructor can easily steer your glider to the most spectacular vantage points. Let the qualified instructor take care of everything as you float above the splendid natural panorama, taking pictures while enjoying a birds-eye view of the city and its picturesque perimeter.

Return to solid ground with magical memories and relax during the return journey back to your Medellin hotel.

Wow wee oh boy wow wee!!! What a great experience. Perfect pick up from hotel in El Poblado just makes it so easy - then straight to the top of the mountain where my boy Hector looked after me soaring 3000ft in the clouds with the ealges for 20 minutes. Go Pro video costs like 10 US. Worth it!!

Initially I had a very difficult time trying to contact the paragliding companies directly until I found Viator. Once we were booked, I contacted the agency which Viator booked the trip with and they were very helpful. We were originally scheduled to go on a Saturday but since the weather was unfavorable, they changed us to Sunday. It was a gorgeous day with miles of visibility. They arranged the cabs from our apartment and then the cabs waited for us while we were paragliding as well to take us back. When we got to the launch point, we were immediately setup with a pilot and away we went. I highly recommend paragliding in Medellin and book it with Viator, they will make your life easier.
