We opted for more of the city tour than the drive to Escobar's grave and the site of the jail. David was very personable and provided us with a very informative and enjoyable tour.

Horrible experience!!

Tour guide was not knowledgeable. He had no clue where to go and pulled over at least 10 times looking up/asking directions. He didn't know how to drive and the car turned off 16 times. He rolled back and hit a car behind us and also hit the side of the mountain coming down it. We never saw Communa 13 nor the Cathedral. We rode for 6.5 hours and only got out the car for 35 min. total. The tour ran over 1.5 hours and made us late for our flight. We begged for him to take us to the airport for a price so we could catch the plane but they said NO. We had to wait on a UBER. By the Grace of GOD we only made our flight because it was delayed. They then lied to Viator about the details of what happened. Very disappointed, stressed and traumatized.

There was a miscommunication with the pick up location and one other mishap along with our short time frame, we were visiting for a day in Medellin. Juan did a fantastic job explaining the history of Pablo Escobar and the impact he had both in Medellin and the world. He really understood the entire story and was able to give detailed accounts of some of the minor players in the story. Muy buena experiencia y (JULIO) que fue nuestro guía, súper sabe mucho sobre lo acontecido en el pasado con pablo escobar y los lugares que visitamos lo recomiendo al 100% muy lamentable que el gobierno quiera hacer desaparecer la historia por eso hay que ir ya por que luego puede que ya no se pueda ver los lugares tal como eran.
