Coffee and chocolate farm tour

Enjoyed every moment of it : great balance of walking , history, action and exploring the nature . Sarah is super energetic and passionate about Colombia . The ride is smooth , (will not make you car sick), and you will get to know the hardworking farm family , pick coffee and chocolate beans and then make your own coffee and chocolate , have a hearty meal and come back energized.

Such an amazing experience. Felt like a local. Highly recommend supporting these local farmers. A truly unforgettable experience. We spent the day with local chocolate farmers, learning each step of the process—from picking cacao to crafting our own handmade treats. It was hands-on, heartfelt, and deeply rooted in tradition. The guide created space for genuine connection, making the experience feel personal and authentic rather than touristy. A beautiful way to understand the culture through its people and flavors.

I am so glad that we decided to do this tour as it was an amazing experience. We could not have asked for a better guide, Sara was perfect for us! Her kindness, knowledge and warmth made for an unforgettable day. The two farms we visited were so beautiful and the families who owned them were so welcoming and made us feel comfortable. This was a hands on tour which we enjoyed as it really gave us a deeper understanding and appreciate for the chocolate and coffee that we love!

My friend and I booked this private tour and immediately I knew it would be a great experience the moment Sara picked us up from our hotel! She is such a sweet, smart, knowledgeable guide, and we learned so much about the country on our drive to the coffee and chocolate farms outside of the city in the mountains. The 2 farms were so amazing with beautiful views of the mountainside and valley, and SO many stunning flowers and plants. The experience at both of the local farm owners was unique, leaning and doing the process that they do daily to produce the coffee and chocolates. Both farms had the sweetest local owners who treated us like family and we were welcomed into their homes. The lunch was absolutely delicious as well! Sara was the absolute best guide for this tour, as she is so interested in agriculture and knowledgeable about everything in nature in Colombia, full of energy, and is a total sweetheart as well. The coffee was delicious and the chocolate experience was so fun as well, as you get to make your own flavored chocolate bars! There is an opportunity to buy the coffee and chocolate made at that very farm. These farms are very small and not mass produced, so it felt really special to be able to help out the true local hard working Colombians, and everything they get from hosting these tours goes towards making their farms more functional and special for the guests. 10/10 experience, just do it!

This tour exceeded my expectations. Our guide Sara picked us up directly from our hotel a and drove us to the farm locations while providing interesting facts about the area along the way. We learned about the processing of coffee and chocolate from start to finish at two private farms with samples of both. We also made our own chocolate and was able to purchase coffee and chocolate for ourselves. A delicious and authentic lunch was provided. There was a short hike uphill to reach the coffee farm and also you navigate through the woods to pick coffee beans and cacao pods, so dress appropriately and don't forget your sunscreen and repellant. Sara was the most amazing guide and has a genuine passion for the farms and the families that own them. This is definitely an unforgettable must-do experience if you have any interest in chocolate or coffee.

Very well organized, you get to experience friendly locals who show you how coffee and cacao is grown and later processed. An absolutely unique experience. The local guide Sarah is also a true gem and very knowledgeable.

Such an amazingly personal and private tour! We felt like we were the only people in all of the Colombian countryside. The view was incredible. We hiked 10 minutes to the coffee farm and picked coffee beans and saw how they were prepared to make amazing fresh coffee. We sipped it while staring at the view. Homemade lunch and then we prepared the delicious chocolate. The host families were so welcoming and it was wonderful.
