I booked this tour as had Alex as my guide. Excellent language skills (formerly lived in NYC for 10 years) and kept me entertained the whole day. Started with paragliding from a beautiful spot where we flight over some waterfalls and around some of the mountains in the area. We caught some updraft air and circled to rise above the take-off - we then landed in the same place. Excellent tandem pilot who was also very safety conscious (I’m also certified myself). I then climbed the “Rock” for some views and then off to Guadalupe which I found interesting and had a great lunch there.

Worst Experience Ever

We had a very disappointing experience with this tour company and would not recommend them. Due to severe weather, our flight to Medellín was unable to land after three attempts and was diverted to another city. We contacted the company immediately in an effort to reschedule, but instead of showing any flexibility, they strictly enforced their 24-hour cancellation policy. Fortunately, we were able to make it to Medellín close to midnight and still made the effort to proceed with the tour on the originally scheduled date. Unfortunately, the experience only deteriorated from there. The driver arrived 15–20 minutes late, and upon reaching the first activity (paragliding), we were met with heavy rain and standing water—conditions that were clearly unsafe and made it impossible to participate. We had raised concerns about the weather in advance, but the owner dismissed them, insisting that the conditions were “beautiful” and even sending a video showing sunshine. This turned out to be completely misleading. When we arrived at the next location, it was still raining heavily and fully overcast. A local confirmed it had been raining all morning. As a result, we were unable to experience the main highlights of the tour, including paragliding and climbing the rock. Instead, we spent approximately eight hours in the car, with only brief stops for the restroom and lunch. Paying $414 for what essentially amounted to transportation and a meal is unacceptable. The lack of flexibility, poor communication, and misleading information made this an incredibly frustrating experience. To make matters worse, Viator offered no meaningful assistance in resolving the situation. They simply acted as a middleman between us and the vendor, and in the end, we were only able to receive a partial refund. I strongly recommend looking into other tour companies that are more honest, transparent, and customer-focused.

Great driver/tour guide who spoke great English and gave us lots of flexibility. Would absolutely use again. The paragliding was unbelievable. This was our first time and we were in the air for 15 minutes with the guide.

Fue una gran experiencia hacer las tres actividades el mismo día y con el tour privado. El parapente una gran experiencia, los pilotos súper experimentados. Subir la piedra del peñol definitivo es un must si ya estás visitando, las vistas espectaculares. Y por último el recorriendo a guatape muy lindo. Diego fue nuestro guía y fue espectacular, súper atento, amable y paciente, todas sus explicaciones y datos importantes hicieron muy placentero el tour.
