Overview

Take a guided rafting trip along the Calderas River and through the Colombian rainforest with this adventure. Great rafting not so sure about the rest

Rafting and guide - 5 stars. He was excellent and the river was super fun! One of the better white rafting trips I have done! Driver and staff via WhatsApp- 3 stars. They changed our pickup time 8pm the night before. The driver was a bad driver lot of swerving and he didn’t pick us up from the take out point he was 45 minutes late left us cold and wet and didn’t give us any snacks so no food like described. Whoever mans the WhatsApp responded but never followed back up at all at the time of time writing this review.

Hi. Thanks for writing and left your review, but it's very important to be clear with all the exact facts. 1. One day before we asked to you to start earlier because our rafting guides were limited due low season and we needed to attend groups in the morning and afternoon, so we talked to you and you accepted doing it in the morning. 2. Your Driver was Fabian, he has more than 200 5 stars reviews here that you can check, but unfortunately this days there was a landslide near to the ending rafting point and this one changed and fabian didn't know the exact point, so he got lost for many minutes. This area is a very big zone with a lot of off-road paths. For this, we apologize, anyone can make mistakes but and the same time traveleres must have a little of empathy, something you apparently you haven't. 3. The service on WhatsApp was on time, even at the moment we were in the middle of the jungle trying to get signal, and immediately we called the guides to check what happened, and they told us everything was ok, but main driver got lost, thats all. Even we keep talking until the night. 4. About the food you said, we offered little snacks an the middle of the river, but because rain we decided not to stop and due the hard traffic to arrive to the point we lost several minutes, so at the end we gave you some beers and the idea was to stop in a restaurant that you can buy food because was early to get it, but you refuse to stop and drive directly to your hotel. You told us in whatsapp you haven't gotten food from 8am to 4pm and that's not true because Fabian all the time asked to you for anything you need? He stopped for the restroom, you bought food in the morning, and you didn't want to stop for lunch. You we do rush to go to medellin because you have a reservation in the night and that added to our operation some stress to do things at time and unfortunately, instead to help, we ended making mistakes, again our apologies. 5. You can read more than 1000 reviews and our service is impeccable, but sometimes there are things that we can not control. In this case, yes, we make a mistake getting lost on the road, the rest is the attitude and empathy that people can have under some situation, in this case you haven't. Thanks again for choosing us
