Amazing morning seeing the whales

We really enjoyed the trip and were lucky enough to see humpback and sperm whales. Weather was great, water was relatively calm. The guide gave good instructions and opportunities to photograph these amazing mammals. We were surprised that we were offered the chance to swim with sperm whales as I’d understood this was not allowed by Mauritius Tourism authority and quite upset by the last stop where we could count 14 boats (including ours) around a mother and calf with snorkellers surrounding the mammals. We appreciated that the tor operator doesn’t have control over the other companies but it left us distressed for these amazing creatures. While operators still offer this people will take advantage. Needless to say we stayed on the boat.

Amazing whale-watching experience! The entire team was very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip. They knew exactly where to look for the whales and made sure everyone had a great view. The boat was comfortable, and the whole experience was well organized from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable whale-watching experience in Mauritius
