An eclectic tour of some interesting foods (delicious fruit!), a fascinating market, and the incredible views from the the People’s Park in the Sky. Travel times are over an hour, but I think worth it (bring a book). Friendly and knowledgeable guides. The only improvement I’d suggest is to time the People’s Park visit (the final stop) to include the sunset, since we left just before (afternoon tour).

Perfect half day tour. Kenji, Hanna and Noi took excellent care of us. The view at Tagaytay is lovely. Short ride up to the highest point from the parking lot in a Jeepny was fun. Noi is a very safe driver. Working Rory, the YOLO tour guides Kenji and Hannah worked very well together as a team. They were lots of fun, helpful and well informed. If you don’t have a lot of time to spare, I do recommend this half day tour.

The View at this site is beautiful! I highly recommend this tour to see the beautiful views and the volcano.

    Worst tour ever

    jodie_b, Feb 2026
If I could leave a zero star i would. It's too much money for a cheap and lacking tour. The stops along the way are nothing to remember and our tour guide felt so genius with his inaccurate history. "President Reagan was supposed to come for an official visit in 1968" when he wasn't even president until 1980. And don't fall for the offer for the boat ride tour afterwards. You're going to be disappointed and soaking wet and probably seasick as a small crafter water/wind advisory is of no concern - they will risk your life for the scheme to just get your money. STAY AWAY!!

It was cold at the destination which the guides were aware of . Between November to February very unlikely to see the volcano due to bad weather . Long day to see mist

    Great tour, awesome guides!

Advised to meet at another hotel which we waited 15 mins. After being collected at 12.15 for the next 1.5 hours we spent time going collecting one pair of guests from one hotel and one male guest ftom airport hotel & then finally started journey in manila traffic outwards to volcano view. Soon after stopped at the suburb town for a toilet comfort break. Fed the Koi fish as an activity was an unnecessary stop at cafe being longer than 5mins the weather was still clear & good. Felt that time was being wasted about getting to Volcano. Then went to fruit market stall& pineapple field for 10 mins. Then carried on to the view point for the volcano & by this time the cloud was setting in. Before we knew it the rain cloud moved in and totally obscured the view of the volcano. Time was moving on & we set off for return journey after 5pm. We did not return until almost 8pm due to the standard conditions of manila traffic..we should have departed at the latest 4pm. We were tired from nothing but Manila traffic. .the 2 young people enlisted to escort us on the tour were inexperienced & young & extremely tired having already done this same trip at dawn starting st 5am. Was it really worth £63? NO. you are better off arranging a private taxi to go out at your own convenience.

We had a lovely half day tour to Tahaytay. Our guides Claude and Bella were so friendly and helpful. They also offered a lot of information about the areas we went to. Thank you also to our driver Marlon. His skills were amazing while maintaining a cheerful attitude. Thank you once again. Ian and Leigh

    Perfect Half-Day Escape from Manila

    Kostas_A, Oct 2025
We had a day layover in Manila and decided to book this tour on a whim—what a great decision. Our guides, John and Nona, were friendly, energetic, and full of interesting facts that made the morning memorable. We joined the 7:00 a.m. trip and were back at the hotel by 1:00 p.m., which worked perfectly for our schedule. On the way to Tagaytay, we stopped to sample local favorites like buko (coconut) pie, fresh fruits from a roadside market, and even tried balut for the first time. It was the perfect half-day adventure to see more of the area and escape the city for a few hours. Highly recommend it to anyone with limited time in Manila.

    Fantastic Experience

I was worried it would be too short/rushed but it was perfect. The guides were knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly. We learnt a lot and got to try a variety of fruits and treats. The view from the top was beautiful!

We had a few days in Manila and wanted to make the most of it. We chose this company because we loved the option of the half-day afternoon tour and that they pick you up from your hotel. We loved the stops along the way to try buko pie, lumpia, and different fruits. It was a rainy day, but we still lucked out with a view and it wasn’t crowded with people. Andrei was our guide and he was accommodating, knowledgeable, and made the experience very enjoyable. We had booked the same company the next day for the tour of Intramuros and requested him to be our guide again.

    Greattt tour.

It was greattt. All three tour guide did a very good job and they knew all about it as well. Would like to have them again.

    Great stops!

    Meghan_T, Aug 2025
The actual view was underwhelming but the stops on the way made it worth the experience. It also allowed me to see outside the metro area. Via was the tour guide and she was awesome.

Great Guide, Excellent Tour, Great Value!

    Mary_A, Jun 2025
This was an excellent tour and great value for the price. Andrew was my guide, and was very enthusiastic, entertaining and knowledgeable. I booked this group tour less than 24 hours in advance, and received confirmation right away. I paid extra for pick up at my hotel, and Andrei and our driver were right on time. I was surprised to find that although I booked a group tour, I was the only person on this trip, and rather than cancel, the company honored my reservation and treated me as a private tour! Andrei is extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic and entertaining. The stops were all well planned with excellent food and sights. We drove approximately 90 minutes out of Manilla with stops along the way for a local tart, fresh fruit from a street vendor, an excellent spring roll from a local market and a cold drink in a plastic bag with a straw. We toured the local market and then visited Tagaytay. The drive showed the rural side of the Philippines and the views were breathtaking. So many great photo opps and plenty of stops to take pictures. Andrei shared so much information and answered every one of my questions. I highly recommend this tour and Andrei!

Fantastic Tour; Well Worth The Money

    Hunter_P, Jun 2025
We had a fantastic experience on our tour. From hotel pickup to hotel dropoff, we were completely taken care of. It wasn't a long drive into the volcano area, and we took a few stops along the way to see some sights and try some local foods. Most of the fruits and snacks we had the chance to try were purchased for us by the tour agency, and we were grateful for that. We stopped at numerous photo spots and had the opportunity to ride in a Jeepney. All around, we got our money's worth and would do it again!

    Not recommended at all

    Nguyen_H, Jun 2025
Very boring, not recommended at all! The distance is about 60km, Manila has terrible traffic jams so it takes more than 2 hours to get there, including 3 unnecessary stops they made on the way. The driver is very reckless, especially the jeepney in climbing part. Most importantly, there is nothing to see! The volcano is invisible, the park is very ugly, the architecture is terrible. One of two tour guiders talked too much for nothing, made people upset. The tour price is very expensive, not worth it at all!

    Excellent half day tour

    Derrick_H, May 2025
Excellent half day tour. Guide Criz is great, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She ensures all is taken care of, from meeting the itinerary to making sure you don't go hungry all within good time. We enjoyed ourselves very much and will be making plans to come back again in the near future.

    A couple of constructive comments

    JOSIE_B, Apr 2025
The experience in itself, was well done, the pick up from our hotel was delayed but we were duly advised. The tour guides ( Claude and Mark) were great. However, if I may suggest, small bottled water should be included in all your tours. Build it in the price or whatever, but that would be a great gesture if not a necessary one in this Philippine weather. Also, it was indicated in your pre-tour information to take along snacks and we took along sandwiches which was totally unnecessary because the tour took us to food shops, fruit stands and open markets.

Great overview of the volcano and Philippine countryside!

    Heather_A, Mar 2025
Great visit away from the busy Metro. Learned a lot about the culture, food, way of life outside the city. The volcano sights were beautiful. Really enjoyed the tour guides and meeting other travelers from around the world.

Unique escape from the city hassle

    Katerina_L, Mar 2025
Albert took us to the places we would never be able to discover on our own and gave us a context only locals can provide. He was also very kind and helpful and I enjoyed the trip very much.

Guide had great personality and knowledge. Driver is amazing and safe. What a team. No way could you do this tour by yourself

    Taal Volcano tour

    Daniele_L, Jan 2025
The tour stops in several places (fruit market, buko pie testing in a shop where there is a lot of nuts, chips ... The view of the volcano is besutiful but at the top it was very foggy with only glimpses of the lake and volcano on one side, and the city on the other side, when the fog dismissed for a few minutes.
