Mark is an excellent tour guide. This was a really enjoyable day tour which included the boat ride to view the Taal volcano from a boat. We stopped at a few places, tried some local fruit, viewed the markets .Definitely recommended.

This was more than a boat trip - it was mostly a tour of the countryside with a ride across a lake. It was a very cool experience if you’re open to unexpected experiences. Not so much a feeling of being at a volcano but very interesting.

The Tour was really nice. Loved the activities. The biggest negative was that the breaks on the van needed repair and the driver was constantly texting, checking out Facebook/tiltok/instagram while driving. Safely should be priority one

Really enjoyed our tour our guides were very informative and our driver was very good. On our trip to the volcano Ken our guide was very helpful he told us alot about the volcano and the area and the driver of the boat was very good. I would highly recommend the tour

Amazing Tour with John the Guide. He made sure, I felt comfortable and that I'm enjoying the experience at all times. It was an amazing tour, thank you so much!

This was a convenient way to get outside metro Manila with all the logistics planned for you. Our guides, Via, Kris, and Honey, were all very kind and helpful. The Taal Volcano and the lake around it are stunning, and well worth visiting. The tour makes several stops to sample local foods as well, including a coconut pie and pineapple. The tour is worth it just to have the logistics taken care of. If I could offer one suggestion to the tour operators it would be to include more informative commentary during the ride to fill some of the empty time. If you just want to see the sites and don't mind resting on the drive, this is a great tour. It was definitely worth doing.

Great day bout, Yvonne was an excellent tour guide and Noi was a good driver. She spent the time to listen to my questestions and always gave great answers. Trip should be done and not missed.

This tour is a scam!
It begins with false advertisement, telling you that you will go to the volcano when you never even get close. They basically sell you a boat ride to the coast, where you can even see the volcano. The pictures they show are completely deceitful and missleading, they show like you actually go to the volcano and you dont even get to step on land.
The activities in the middle are just a filler, and you spend 90% of the time in the van.
THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU WATER!!

Our day trip to Taal Volcano was incredible, thanks to our amazing guide, Bella. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly.
We weren’t so lucky with the weather and couldn’t get a clear view of Taal from the top. However, the boat tour on Taal Lake more than made up for it! It gave us an up-close perspective of the volcano and its surroundings, which was absolutely fascinating.
Despite the weather, Bella’s enthusiasm and expertise made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Manila.

Was really excited to see the volcano, which was really really cool, but unfortunately it is not worth it. In total it is Almost 4 hours of driving and can only take a small boat to go close to volcano, and that is 20 minutes. So if you have a day to waste in Manila it’s good, but I’d skip it.

Mark was definitely the warmest guy i met in my overall Manila visit. He gave us a lot of good places to take pictures and many facts about Taal Lake. We really loved every second with this group tour. Overall pricing is decent regarding the duration of the total tour. Thank you for everything!

We stopped along the way a few times and tried local fruit, cakes and a local wooden items shop. Very friendly, chatty guides.
The trip on the lake was around the vulcano was clearly the highlight with a great local lunch on the lakeside afterwards.

The tour crew was amazing! We stop also in different places to try local food and they were very knowledgeable.

Criz and our driver were great hosts. We had a great time and got to experience more than we thought, whilst supporting local businesses.
Taal did not disappoint, despite the September weather. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time with Chris and the team. They were kind, helpful, patient, and gave us a great experience. The crater itself is mind blowing to think about and I’ve never seen anything like it. I would recommend this group and wish my schedule allowed me to stay longer!

The tour guide crew were top notch. A special call out to Gerald. The experience was like a family trip without the fighting 😉

Highlights
Taal active volcano
Ambon Ambon falls
Stone church
Andrei and Gerald were fantastic local knowledgeable guides for the tour and very obliging. We caught it from Anya Resort, so did not have to go all the way from Manila. There were just 6 of us on the tour which made it a very intimate experience. The Taal Lake boat ride took us close to the Taal Island in the middle of the lake, however unfortunately tourists are no longer allowed to walk on the island. The Ambon Ambon falls were the real highlight as got to walk up the stream and then swim under the waterfall with the locals. Unforgettable! Stone church was a bonus, featuring an open air cave the locals use as a church (accompanied by the local bat colony).

Unbelievably Amazing Experience!
This really is a world class tour everyone!
The guys from Yolo Travel arrived on time to pick me up, (always a good sign!), and I was greeted by Mark, my tour guide, Red, the driver and a trainee, JoJo.
We rode in air conditioned comfort, ideal for any long tour and zipped past the city traffic into the province. Our first stop was Nuvali, a new estate where we stopped for coffee, light snack and an opportunity to feed the fish in the pond. The place is being developed to provide an urban village away from the hustle and bustle of Manila Metro, for young people to start families, a very modern and hip place to visit.
We then ventured to the so called 'The Original Buko Pie Shop'. What a great place. Here you will find, as the name suggests, the original Buko Pie, or coconut pie, hot and absolutely delicious, our's was literally fresh out of the oven, and it truly is a melt in your mouth experience.
After the pie experience we journeyed to a roadside market and pineapple plantation which sold fresh juicy pineapple and finger sized bananas. We also went to a 'wet' market where freshly cut meat could be bought, and fish, newly caught and still swimming in baskets.
A further drive and we reached the start of our trek to a peak looking down onto Taal Lake and Taal volcano. Here we caught a jeepney up the steep slopes. Arriving at the peak, the view was truly breathtaking, a total 360 degree panorama awaited us, and clear skies. The view was spectacular. We visited the intended place of stay for the US President for an anticipated trip of his which did not eventuate. The site has since been converted into a scenic spot and tourist attraction for the many visitors that frequent. From the peak we could peer down onto Taal Volcano and the lake upon which it sits, truly spectacular.
After spending much time here, the tour then took us back down the peak to the Lake, where there was an opportunity to rest and each lunch. I was not expecting it, but the next and most spectacular part of the tour was a boat ride to the shore of Taal Volcano. The ride is so much fun and great for adventurers wanting the full experience of Taal. We rode a catamaran right up to shallow waters of the Volcano for some breathtaking views. And the ride home was even better as we braved some choppy waters and heavy rain pelting down onto our faces, overall making for a wild boat ride back to shore.
That really just about sums my experience of this tour, spectacular and breathtaking. Again, a world class tour, wonderfully escorted by my companions from Yolo Travel, Mark, Red and JoJo.
Thanks guys, and thanks to all at Yolo Travel for making this a truly memorable moment of my trip to the Philippines!
(Of course, I have plenty of videos and photos but with the amount of editing involved I will post these at some later date.)

Highly recommend this tour! Mark and Rency were wonderful. We learned so much about the history of Mt Tagaytay. They were so patient and accommodating of my 98 year old grandfather on the tour. Our favorite parts were the koi feeding and the fruit stand, the magoes were so ripe. This was the best tour we had ever been on and we will definitely recommend them to others

Really interesting and well organized excursion. Both the guide and the organizer were really kind, prepared and very nice. I was also lucky enough to make new friends during the tour. Transfer from Manila is included and they pick you up directly at your hotel.
In addition to the TAAL Volcano, which boasts unique and evocative landscapes, there are several stops, including Nuvali (St. Rosa), Tagaytay City with various stops and food tastings (typical fresh fruit, typical coconut cake, fertilized egg); there are stops to have a view from above of the Volcano where you can take photographs, until you reach Lake TAAL, where you can reach the island of the Volcano itself by boat. A unique experience. Lunch not included (well specified at the time of booking)... anyway , I’m truly satisfied! Special thanks to Sean Cabunilas & Nona Bhey!

We are lucky to have to very nice and professional guides. Thank you very much to them .

Thanks Joannah for guiding us during the jorney to the Taal volcano lake. It was significant experience since the route to and back to the Taal lake was pretty tough, because of the fact that our trip was during the biggest holiday season in PH, Christmas plus year-end, there was heavy traffic. But against all the odds, Joannah was never tired and guided us to the true beauty of Tagaytay and Taal lake.
The trip itself took 9 hour plus for the travel time, but could be shorter if not holiday season. For the boat trip especially, I would strongly recommend to bring addtional tshirts or short for change, and a pair of the Sandal shoes. You would feel cold if you want to eat late lunch or early dinner in Tagaytay cause it is a high ground and temperature is lower than usual in PH.
The boat trip was fanastic and there were mild waves, and it was so amazing experience that I would recommend this trip to my friends.

Guide Mark and Driver John provided us a custom experience - down to the freshest boku pie and magnificent Taal Volcano views.

It was absolutely a wonderful experience! You definitely have to see it to believe it, pictures do not suffice. I had the pleasure of being accompanied by Eddy and Loonie. If you wanna have a fun time, you gotta request these two by name. They made my first solo tour feel safe & unforgettable.
Sharing knowledge their history, loads of laughter & fun ,and of course eating plenty of yummy delicacy's along the way.
Highly recommend you add this to your must see when you are in Manila area.
I would definitely book with YOLO travel tours again with the dynamic duo.
Thanks Eddy & Lonnie!, for making my short visit a time to remember!

Tour guide Sean, Ian and Einstein are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I brought my mum on this trip and she enjoyed the boat ride and water fall itinerary, while for me it's fun to know more about Philippines through the local tour guide, such as Tralala and Banaba.
