It was an excellent tour. John Ferdinand, the guide, Pearl assistant guide and Kyle the driver were very professional and friendly. John was a font of information and provided many nuggets of useful historical information. He explanations were clear and comprehensive. He even provided some entertainment with Karaoke singing when the city traffic was slow at times. The view of Taal volcano and lake from Tagatay viewpoints were fantastic. John and his team were very helpful throughout.

We were picked up on time by an excellent car, air con perfectly set. The car/bus could hold 10 so there was plenty of room for us two, Sarah our guide and Adrian the driver. You know you have a good driver when you forget they are there, Adrian was exactly that.
Sarah asked us about our likes a dislikes, which we explained quickly. She then gave us a brief outline of our day ahead. It started with a longish drive to our first stop, the volcano and lake. On tbe way we made a couple of stops, one for tbe local pie Boko and the second for some local fruits, all generously supplied by Sarah.
All the stops we decided when to leave and Sarah gave a detailed insight at all tbe stops. After leaving the volcano, along with its other local attractions, we headed back towards Manila, stopping on the way to allow my partner to have a quick paddle in tbe sea, don't ask!
Five major attractions around Manila, Sarah helped us climb steps, gave lots of interesting information, history, and background.
We were delivered back to our ship in a timely manner, although we were pretty tired after a full day looking around Manila and the surrounding area.
We take tours often, spending half our life on cruise ships, and this tour was right up there with the best.
Sarah, was excellent, with destinations, knowledge, and above all, a keen desire to deliver the best possible experience to her customers. All delivered with charm and efficiency.
Thank you Sarah (and Adrian).

This tour was nice. Seeing the intramuros was great, just felt a little rushed at each sight.. The area in Tagaytay, was beautiful but you spend so little time there compared to the drive time out and back. The guide was very nice just wished there was more information given about where you were going or what you were to experience before you arrived at a stop. More interaction would be appreciated.

Good experience. Worth to book and have a nicely spent day. Precise start from agreed location, lenght depends on traffic.

Nice 10 hr tour to Tagaytay mostly spent on the road with our expert driver/navigator, Ryan, with Mark as our guide. Our small group boarded the van as strangers but departed as friends. The Manila smog combined with the volcanic steam obscured our panoramic view from the People's Park in the Sky. The tour was topped off with an Intramuros tour. Mark's knowledge of Philippine history makes you wonder why he isn't in academia.

It is not horrible, it could just be quite a bit better. In spite of having two guides in addition to the driver, there was very little actual guiding performed, which was too bad. There was ample opportunity to tell about the Philippines, the people, the way of life, their leaders and so on, but the guides at best responded to questions.
The minbus was in decent condition but had no working seatbelts which is quite scary in a country where traffic is very intense.
Also, they didn´t quite follow the itinerary, which was unfortunate as we ahd already seen a couple of the places downtown the day before (which we wouldn´t have done if we had known the actual plan)

The tour was well organised and was fabulous. The whole team Mark, Sarah and Aiden were very super friendly at the same time very professional. Thank you guys. This tour is a mixture of understanding of history of the Philippines and scenic view under better weather.

Our tour guides Hannah and Mike didn’t just show us places; they also took amazing pictures of us and also revealed stories of places we explored in Manila. With patience and passion, every path felt beautiful and meaningful. Hannah was so amazingly sweet, that we didn't really felt that we came to manila for the 1st time. She totally watched over us and walked with us like a friend, answered every question with care, and turned a simple journey into a memory we’ll always cherish. thank you Hannah and Mike.

Our tour guides, Mark, Charm, and Noi were excellent. They were very knowledgeable about everything we saw and visited. They were accommodating when my son felt too hot and needed to cool off in the ac in the van. It was a long day but It was a great experience, would totally recommend this tour.

A long but great day out. The weather wasn't on our side but nevertheless there was plenty to see and do. Marco our main guide was amazing, he was informative and funny and made the experience very enjoyable. Yvonne who was helping on the tour was also great. Definitely worth doing if you want to get the main sights done in one go or you have very limited time in Manila.

The tour was really enjoyable, but for solo travellers it was a disgusting rip off. The cost for two travellers is £159.44 but for me, a solo traveller, Viator charged £152.18. It was priced as a Private Tour, but was Small Group Tour, with other travellers. Difficult to know if it is Viator or the tpur operator who are blatantly profiteering. I did raise it with the two guides, who agreed the amount I was charged seemed wrong, and they were going to contact their office, but they never followed up with an answer. I also consider Viator to be advertising this tour in a misleading, and possibly illegal way. The advertised price was £79.72.

Despite weather conditions, the ream was able to provide a fantastic day. The knowledge of our guide (Marco) and the efficacity of Yvonne and our driver provided us with a very enjoyable day with some changes that they managed very professionally and taking in account our preferences. I would without a doubt recommend this tour to any. Cheers and Thank you.

This one-day scenic tour was a highlight of our stay in Manila! The itinerary covered stunning viewpoints with plenty of time for photos. What really made it enjoyable were our guides, Claudine and JC. They were incredibly knowledgeable—sharing fascinating history, local insights, and fun facts throughout the day—always helpful, answering questions, offering tips, and ensuring everyone in the group was comfortable. Their enthusiasm was contagious and made our tour feel personal and engaging. The second half of the day we were lucky to have a personal tour inside the Intramuros, and see the gorgeous Manila Cathedral…
Thank you Adrien for driving us through all the difficult traffic!

Great day tour experience. Traffic around Manila is congested and hard to control time management. Need to be patient and flexible.
William_V, Oct 2025
This was a nice trip to get out of the city for part of the day and see the countryside and volcano. We were able to see the volcano from a spot but rain clouds moved in a blocked our view from the peoples park at the top.
Claude and John were both great guides and knew a lot about the areas we visited.
Andy_L, Oct 2025
JC, Bella, and Malon were awesome! They were so accommodating and friendly. They made efforts to really teach us about the history of Manila and Tagatay. It was awesome listening to them.

Lots of driving but we got to see a lot traffic was bad and wasted time after lunch
Tour guides were fantastic and full of knowledge friendly
Kenny stayed with us all day and was so lovely
Jacey was chatty and friendly
Can’t remember the lady’s name but she was bubbly and happy
Marilyn_I, Oct 2025
Guide was great with communication both prior to and during the tour. He was knowledgeable, but said so if he didn't know the answer to a question. He was very patient as there were two very different couples and he was able to manage the needs of both Enjoyed this tour a lot, especially Tegate as we had not been there yet. Recommend this tour as a good orientation and then you can determine places you want to spend more time exploring in Manila.

Ken was the consummate guide on our day tour of Manila and Tagaytay. Safely steering us through the history and interesting sites in Manila, Ken and driver, Noi ensured we thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Tasting some of the special traditional food was a treat and we loved the experiences in Tagaytay. We would certainly recommend this tour and our guides.
Aleksandr_G, Oct 2025
I had a wonderful experience on the Tagaytay tour! My guide, Ken, was extremely knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts and stories throughout the day, making the trip both informative and enjoyable. The excursion was very well planned, with a smooth itinerary that covered not only Tagaytay’s highlights but also some of the main sights in Manila, giving a great overall impression of the area. Everything was perfectly organized, and I really appreciated Ken’s professionalism and enthusiasm. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Manila!

The ride is worth it. Excellent adventure. Refreshingly cool at Tagaytay and along the way there were some culinary pleasures.
Keryn_S, Sep 2025
This was a good tour to visit many different sites around Manila. The guides were helpful and friendly & made us feel welcome & very safe while at markets. The stops near the volcano look out were awesome to see local towns. The afternoon around the old fort was a beautiful place & could have spent longer there but was already a very full day. The main guide was asleep in the transport most of the time which seemed very unprofessional but the driver, trainee and female guide were amazing.
Ranjith_G, Sep 2025
We had the luxury of 3 guides one lead guide Nona and two other part time guides. All three are fantastic, very knowledgeable and absolutely helpful. You cannot ask better than that. That is about guides.
However I rate this tour as mid to low due to the fact the design of tour is kind of waste of time for morning 5 hours. Tour company Yolo should have done a better job of creating an itinerary valued for visitors. It is not the money but the time for visitors. They have skipped the viewable attractions when you visit Tagaytay. Only afternoon part of the tour which covers the Manila city part is valuable. So our morning was wasted with useless stops. Base on that I would not recommend this tour for ones who wish to see real Country side. Hope tour company learn on this and correct themselves rather than negative reaction.
This comment comes from a very experienced traveller.

Fantastic day out exploring Manila and the country side, greatly appreciated the extra with the fish food stop and than a dessert stop and fresh fruit. Than to see from the top of tagaytay
Merid_H, Jun 2025
The tour covered a lot if ground and simplified a lengthy itinerary into multiple fun stops. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to see the countryside. Tagaytay was really beautiful and it was such a change of pace from Manila. It was nice seeing the market, some of the farms and most of all I loved the People's Park in the Sky. You get this amazing view of the volcanic lake and can see all the way to Manila an hour away. The guide Mark seemed to know everything about each spot and gave some very interesting history of the country in each.
It was very comfortable, easy and a great value. I am so glad I did this

Rona, Julius and driver Kyle were a great team to ensure we had a great time visiting the sights and making sure we were safe and accounted for. Even with key sights to attend, they were more than flexible and adept at keeping us moving along and safe. The stops to try some of the local foods and markets were great too! This tour was the 8 hours Tagatay and Intramuros tour. It was great getting out of Manila for a bit too and seeing the countryside and locals. The intramuros tour is portion is highly recommended as it also gives a quick history of the Philippines from Chinese immigration through independance from Spain through World War II and the Japanese occupation and liberation with support from the US

Great tour to get a taste of Manila and Tagaytay. Our tour guides, Nona and JC, were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and approachable. They complemented each other perfectly. Loved the experience of tasting different things throughout the journey as well.

It was just ok. Some of the locations had events so you couldn’t really see much. A little pricey for the experience

We did the Spectacular Manila to Tagaytay: Full-Day Sightseeing Tour. Jace was our guide. He was able to give great narratives on each of the locations we visited.
