Christine, tour guide is knowledgeable, well mannered, very good English speaking, helpful and very polite. It was an amazing experience

What a fabulous tour with John and Kyle! It’s the best time to tour because it’s cooler, less crowded and the lights are spectacular! The water fountain show was fantastic. We loved the pictures John provided to show the before and after of the city. John showed us all the important spots! Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Albert is an impressive young man. Cheerful and informative, he delivered an entertaining tour experience we thoroughly enjoyed. An interesting walk through the history of Manila and the Philippines as we wandered through Rizal park, Intramuros, Fort Santiago, Pasig River Esplanade and Binondo Chinatown. A great introduction as a first time visitor to this part of the world. Hotel pick up made experience easy; excellent pre-tour communication; van was clean and comfortable with great driver. Definitely recommend.

Intramuros at night is a totally different place. This felt like a private tour, as the grounds were nearly empty and we were able to move freely without a large crowd. Hannah, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and patiently answered our questions. I recommend this if you don’t want to battle the extreme heat and crowds during the day, or just want the feeling of a small group tour.

Great Visit around the city and Great Guide!!! We visited the main locations and had a great time talking about what we were seeing.

We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide Albert was entertaining and knowledgeable. We saw and learned a lot during our tour. Albert and the driver worked hard to make sure we had a good time, even standing in line to get us their favorite local foods to try, and braving the China town traffic! Albert was easy to understand and takes great photos. I definitely recommend this tour.

Glen was a great guide - very personable and knowledgeable. Had a lovely night tour, including the Christmas lights across various locations.

I would give this a zero if it was possible. We had booked to go on this excursion but due to bad weather, we requested to get a refund. The tour operator refused to refund and insisted that the tour will proceed in the rain. The Viator cancellation policy says that the tour requires good weathet and despite this neither the Tor operator nor Viator were willing to give us our refund. Our pick-up time also kept being changed from 6pm to 6.45pm and then back to 6pm. We had flights to catch that night so this would have been very inconvenient. We decided not to go on the tour but the lack of understanding from Viator and the tour operator left us with a bad experience. I have spent a lot of money booking with Viator and will not be using them again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify a few important points regarding your booking:
1. Weather Conditions
Your cancellation request was made at the last minute and was attributed to bad weather. However, based on the official local weather report and on-ground operations, there was no rain or unsafe weather recorded on that day. All tours proceeded as scheduled without interruption. In line with Viator’s policy, refunds are only granted for cancellations due to unsafe or extreme weather, which did not apply in this case.
2. Pick-up Time Adjustment
The slight adjustment from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM was communicated ahead of time to give guests a smoother experience considering the day’s traffic flow. When you informed us of your flight schedule, we adjusted the pickup time back to 6:00 PM specifically to accommodate your needs. The tour was still fully deliverable within the expected timeframe.
3. Tour Cancellation
Although the tour was scheduled to operate normally and safely, you decided not to proceed. We respect your decision, but because the tour was operational and within safe conditions, the booking fell under a last-minute cancellation, which is non-refundable as stated in the policy you agreed to at the time of booking.
We genuinely value every guest and do our best to provide clear communication and flexibility whenever possible. If you would like to discuss this matter further or need clarification on anything, we welcome you to reach out directly so we can review it with you.
Thank you, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

My friend and I are in Manila on extended work assignments and don’t get a chance to visit the sights because of our hectic work schedules. So glad we booked this tour. Bella was an amazing tour guide. Friendly, prompt and informative. We were picked up at the hotel early. Our car was roomy, comfy and air conditioned. We felt safe throughout. Going at night is truly the way to go. The lights were beautiful. The bonus was that since we’re so close to Halloween, they had eerie lights and actors walking around to intensify the spooky mood. We visited Fort Santiago, China Town, the promenade and Rizal Park. Shout out to tour guide Bella and driver John. Highly Recommend!

Ken clearly loves what he does, and it shows at every stop. He is engaging and curious, sharing rich details and asking insightful questions that make the experience easy to connect with. His pride in the city shines through—quirks and all—and it is clear he genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge with visitors. He knows the area inside out, and his stories carry extra meaning since he once lived there during his uni days.
He is attentive and creates a sense of comfort and safety for everyone, especially for same-sex couples navigating local customs and social norms.
Lastly, the nighttime tour adds a great vibe, a more relaxed and friendly pace. A fantastic way to see the city from a fresh angle.
Keep in mind that some shops tend to close early, as is common here. If you have a particular request within the framework of the tour, reach out to Ken—he is reasonably flexible and happy to tailor the tour to your needs.

The tour is good informational tour. Lasts about 2.5 hours. Viator charged me double ($127) probably because I was the only one that booked that day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Phillipines.

This tour experience was so good because of the tour guide we had. There are so much to learn Philippine history, culture and diversities and the tour guide was excellent with facts and anecdotes. Love this tour and am very happy

Great way to see some Filipino sights out of the blazing sun. It was still hot, but nothing like a day trip would have felt like. Our tour guide, Marco, knew a crazy amount of history and was able to give us very illustrative descriptions of historical events. I learned a lot of Filipino history in these few hours. If you aren’t from here and have an evening free it’s a great way to see and learn a little in a few hours.

Very disappointed
They didn’t give us a china town tour
They said that they don’t do the china town tour at night because it’s not safe. If that’s the case it should not have been included in the description of the tour. That was my main reason for booking the tour

Nona was knowledgable about the sights we visited and about the Philippines in general. Unfortunately, the cathedral was closed but that did not detract from the overall experience. Taking the night tour is the right choice if you do not enjoy the heat of the day since we had a nice breeze as we wandered around the cobblestone streets.

Two people recommend this tour to me while I was visiting Manila and it did not disappoint. Genesis is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who is enthusiastic about history. I learned a ton the Philippines and about WWII history while walking around Intramuros. Genesis was also happy to take pictures of me in front of landmarks. It was also nice to be able take a tour at night, out from under the heat of the sun.

We had a great time Andrei. He was able to adapt when the weather started to pour rain. We had a great tour and learned a lot.

My husband and I have been active Viator customers since 2013. Yet, this was the least enjoyable tour we have ever booked.
Contributing factors: pick-up 1.5 hrs late, they provided an excuse of a “flat-tire” yet there was no evidence, no remorse of their tardiness, no effort to rectify the situation. The 2 of 3 guides were silly, lacked professionalism, constantly photo-bombing us. One major stop of the tour was Binondo. It was less than satisfactory - guides claimed it was unsafe to go further. After the second stop, 1 guide even FELL ASLEEP while the other 2 guides stopped narrating completely. It was dead silent.
This tour was supposed to end by 10pm. We returned to our hotel at 11:30pm with no time to eat dinner. We were too tired, disappointed, and dissatisfied. This was supposed to be the highlight to end our trip to Manila. It was far from it.
If there was ANY DOUBT that hosting a tour the night before Chinese New Year, then the tour should have been canceled. We would have understood.

It's a wonderful service, from being picked up and dropped off to our hotel room and exploring the historical sites of Manila. Seeing the city at night gave us another perspective especially this time of year in celebration of Christmas. Louie our guide was very knowledgeable, he communicated with us prior to pick up and he answered any questions we had during the tour. Highly recommend.

Loved hearing and experiencing all the history of Intramuros. This was the first tour of our 2-week vacation in the Philippines and only got to write my review now, but big THANK YOU to our tour guides. They were so accommodating and knowledgeable. Last time I got to visit the Philippines was 2019 but we have never done a tour like this in all my visits back home. I thought it was a great idea to have it in the evening where it is not as hot or crowded, and you really get a more intimate feel. We were also able to tailor the tour to how we wanted.
Maraming Salamat <3
