What are people saying about Manila

24 years since I've been back to the Philippines!
My driver, Mr. Manuel Oreta, and I were in communication a day before my flight via WhatsApp to coordinate infos. My flight was delayed and baggage claim took a very long time. Mr. Oreta stayed in communication with me from his arrival at the airport until actual pick up. I was much later than the scheduled pick up time and Mr. Oreta waited patiently. We had a great conversation on the way to my hotel. I would ask for Mr. Oreta again when I need to book another ride! What a great experience to not have to stress how I was going to get to my hotel at night. Thank you, Mr. Oreta for your patience and great communication!

Great Tour To Learn About The History of The Philippines
We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide Perl was very friendly and knowledgeable during our tour. We learned about the history of the Philippines and how the country got its independence. We couldn't get to walk around in Chinatown due to the rain but Perl still accommodated us with some delicious snacks from our drive through stop in Chinatown. Its very beautiful to see the city at night

Great intro to Philippines
Signed up for this tour hoping to learn more about Philippines since this was my first time visiting. My guide, Perl, was the nicest and very knowledgeable tour guide. Had a great time trying out different fruits and food & visiting various spots. Great way to spend a day in Manila!

A great tour filled with...
A great tour filled with adventure! You won’t only see the volcano but taste some of the delicacies that the Philippines has to offer, and even go on an exploratory hike that rewards you with a fantastic waterfall! Perl was a great guide who was attentive to my needs and ensured you were having a good time!

Enjoyable ride & historic tour
Super enjoyable tour around lots of the historic sights in Intramuros. Chi was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, checked in with us regularly along the way. Bikes are very easy to maneuver, ride is flat, wind from the ride definitely keeps you cooler as you pass by all the walking tours! Refreshing beverage and sweet treat at the end also keeps you hydrated and cool. My group was full of solo travellers - can see this being fun for groups of all sizes. It was all in all a great way to learn some of the history of the area - definitely recommend.

Don’t Miss
This walking food tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Chloe, struck the perfect balance of being incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and wonderfully accommodating throughout the experience.
What really set this tour apart was the way she brought every stop to life. She didn’t just hand us food. She shared the history behind each dish, explained the local ingredients and traditions, and gave us a deeper appreciation for what we were tasting.
It was also clear that Chloe had built real relationships with the vendors we visited. The mutual respect and friendly rapport she shared with each of them made the experience feel authentic and welcoming, rather than like a typical tourist stop.
If you’re looking for a tour that combines amazing food, local culture, and a guide who is passionate about what she does, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Come hungry and leave with a full stomach and a much greater appreciation for the local food scene!

Three in One!
Great tour! Friendly and fun team: great driver, Miel and amazing guide, Claude. We chose this tour because it allowed us to see three important places on our must see list in one trip, and it was perfect. The ride in the dugout canoe to the Pasganjan Falls through the lush greenery and stone canyon walls was beautiful plus watching the strong and agile boatmen maneuver the boat through tight rocky rapids waa thrilling. After a lunch of traditional dishes, our tour included a boat ride to the island Taal Volcano and a stop at the People’s Park in the Sky. Claude shared the history of the volcano’s 2020 surprising eruption and its formation of new craters plus the lake itself was gorgeous. The sky was clear during our visit to the People’s Park in the Sky, so we enjoyed a stunning view of the valley below. What a fun and efficient way to see some of the most iconic spots in the Philippines. We highly recommend this trip! One note, when we booked our tour, we were happy to see that our hotel was on the drop-down list of available pick up locations. However, the next day we were advised that it was not in the standard pick up area and that would be modest additional costs. It’s my impression that the Tour operator is correcting this but beware, if your hotel is in Mandaluyong, there might be extra cost for hotel pickup.

Lovely half day tour!
Our tour guide, Mark was a rock star!! He was so kind, funny and super informative. He made our trip comfortable and fun for all. We were blessed with perfect weather. We enjoyed stops at Buko shop, local fruit vendors, a local meat market and many other items for sale here as well. We visited the countryside of Tagaytay and viewed the Taal volcano site. It was a beautiful and peaceful place. There were also souvenirs for purchase at reasonable prices. If you want to get out of the city and visit another province… this tour with Mark is a must do experience!

Highly recommend
Carlo was such a great guide! I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this and I was so shocked. Such a beautiful, serene place tucked away. The food was sooo good! We still talk about it! Two family members didn’t swim but there’s plenty of smaller, shallow areas that they managed to spend time in. we were so happy they were also able to enjoy!!

Manila cultural tour
Even though we had a set itinerary my guide Zee made a few adjustments and took me to a number of very interesting sights based on my interest. She was very knowledgeable about all the places I visited and allowed me the time to really absorb the tons of information. Great driving by Adrian in the Manila traffic! All round, an excellent half day of touring cultural sights in Manila.

I enjoyed the walking...
Our Guide (Bernardo) was great!! He shared plenty of historical information but also inquired about the guests & where they were from. I really appreciated seeing the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Site. I enjoyed the walking tour (Fort Santiago)
but it seemed others did not anticipate the amount of walking.
Not sure if it was displayed in the tour information.

Amazing private tour - highly recommend for the flexibility!
This was an incredible day trip with our guide Edwin! Booking the private tour was absolutely worth it since we had the flexibility to go at our own pace and take bathroom breaks as needed given it is a long day in the car.
Pagsanjan Falls was absolutely incredible! The guides paddle and pull you up river through 17 rapids in a canoe while you sit and enjoy the view. The last 50 meters or so you transfer to a bamboo raft that will take you directly under the waterfall to the cave behind it. I don't know if it was just our luck but a huge benefit of the private tour was that we felt like we had the whole river to ourselves. Just as we were finishing a different large tour group was just starting with a dozen or so canoes at the same time.
The whole experience took about 12 hours but it was well worth it. Edwin made the journey enjoyable, flexible and had great communication which made all the difference for the long day!
