Well organised and beautiful scenery. Meeting point was easy to find. There was lots of information and explanation of the day. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The walk itself was not hard but at times daunting only due to the height. The view spectacular and crossing the bridge at the end over the 3rd canyon is a must do

Breathtaking views, informative guide, unique experience, well organized, description is very accurate. Pretty easy flat walk. A little longer than I expected but well worth it!

Everything was great. Esmeralda the guide was wonderful and all went smoothly. And we even had an extra stop in a white village that was great.

Was not sure what to expect but turned out to be amazing. Leisurely hike over elevated walkways with breathtaking views of deep gorges and river. You are literally walking on side of a mountain. Guides were great with explanations of history and construction. This is a must see destination!

Wonderful experience on the Caminito del Rey!

Our tour guide, Louis, was fantastic and professional. He told us lots of interesting facts and history about Malaga and the Camanito del Rey. The walk itself was so picturesque and some excellent photo opportunities. Definitely wear supportive and comfy shoes and bring water and snacks. We loved it and would do it again.

Incredible views, most of hike is on boardwalk hanging off side of rock walls!! So fun, not strenuous, but very high up. Allow time (20-30 min)to find parking and walking to meeting point, we barely made it.. Also, there are food and drink vendors at the end so you don’t need to bring food. You can’t really even stop to eat anything along the way.

Great Experience

It’s under an hour by coach from Málaga, and be prepared for a fair amount of walking. The views are stunning and it’s lovely to explore a different part of Málaga/Spain. Even though I’m not a fan of heights, I felt completely fine crossing the suspension bridge. The descent afterwards is entirely downhill, so your toes and calves definitely feel it. But overall, I’m really pleased I went — a memorable and worthwhile experience

Can’t think of one

Our guide for the actual walk was Pepe. He was great. Young, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and amusing. The weather helped although it did get very windy at times

Unique experience not to miss!

Caminito del Rey

Claire_R, Feb 2026
From pick up to dropping us off, it was a great day out. Luis was very welcoming and informative for the journey up to the location, great personality and a great sense of humour, must be hard for someone who has done it so many times but he made it like it was special for us. Speaks excellent English and German. Organisation at the beginning of the walk was efficient and quick and we were assigned a great local guide Toby who was informative and great fun. The time was great late February, not too hot and not too cold, bit of wind but other than that, excellent conditions. We took a packed lunch, but as long as you have a good breakfast, you will last to the many kiosks at the end of the trek. Lovely day out for a Sunday excursion. Would recommend as the area and scenery is lovely and the walk not too hard.

You can do it!

Simply, the best. If you are wondering if you can complete this, yes you can! Well paced with time for pictures and breaks to rest a little…The views are spectacular.

Had an amazing trip. Caminito del Rey was just stunning. Our guide Pablo was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate in his delivery of information. Our guide to and from Caminito was great also, giving us just enough information on the journey to look at sights enroute and also to relax. I would highly recommend.

It was good overall. The 1st phase was superb, 2nd was a bit boring and 3 rd canyon was good. The experience of the gorge from the short bridge was not as exciting as is portrayed by the guides.

Views are spectacular

A must for visitors to Malaga

Wonderful guide .. knowledgeable. Good pace lots of interesting facts .. amazing scenery.. fantastic experience

Great historical tour

Roxanne_C, Dec 2025
Carmen was super knowledgeable and very friendly. She took us to a parking lot which housed a casket from the Jewish cemetery as well as a coffee shop, which is sitting on top of a Mikvah. We would never have seen either of these without this tour.

Very Accommodating to Unexpected Circumstances

Ruha_K, Dec 2025
Our train to the meetup location (Malaga) was delayed and we asked the tour guides if they can wait for us and they were glad to do so with no complaints or issues. Very accommodating and kind of them!

Must do when in Malaga!

Merlin_L, Dec 2025
Amazing trip, just about an hour bus ride from Malaga. It’s not difficult at all, at first 1,5km to the start point and then track itself is about 5 km. Amazing views! Never experienced something like this. Tour guides are fun, talk a lot interesting facts. You get audio radio, headphones and helmet at the start. Visited in December, so it was bit foggy and chilly in the morning but then sun came out and had a nice day! ☀️ Would recommend this trip for everyone!

Stunning views

Susan_B, Dec 2025
Excellent trip. Luis our guide was very helpful and informative. He also had a great sense of humour. The walk and views were incredible, and it was not a difficult walk. You do not need to be overly fit. Toilets available at start and end of walk and food/drink also. Plenty of amazing photo opportunities. One not to miss when in Malaga!

Awesome views of the nature

Galina_Z, Dec 2025
Please be prepared to wear the helmets, it is a must thing Also, do it on your last day of vacation, so you won't be in pain the day after. It's a lot of walking, up and down If you are afraid of heights - reconsider the trip

A Worthy Experience

An excellent hike in gorgeous surroundings. Good footwear is highly recommended. Lots of good information from very knowledgeable guide.

Great day trip

Sathya_R, Nov 2025
Very well organised trip. Pick up was prompt. Dani and Lara were fantastic and gave clear guidance and instructions.

A most memorable experience!

Robert_B, Nov 2025
It was great! Best ever! About an hour outside of Malaga and the bus ride was nice and easy with great sights. Upon arrival, the helmets went on and we took off on wooden and metal walkways along the side of cliffs-yikes! Then the bridge! Felt like Indiana Jones! Truly, an amazing experience. Then a little bit hiking and back to the beginning.

Caminito

Agnieszka_J, Nov 2025
Really great experience, beautiful trail with some amazing scenery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the driver was making us all feel safe on those narrow roads .

Busy, but beautiful!

Kelli_S, Oct 2025
Pick up was simple. We stopped in Ardales on the way to use the facilities and grab something to eat for those that wanted to do so. Adorable town. Simple walk to the trailhead to get helmets and such, then off you go. You do get an audio guide as you walk by the guide leading you, but that honestly took away from the experience for me, so I ended up not using that part. The walk is easy for the most part. There are some narrow stairs here and there and it is nerve wracking for some being on a cantilevered path, so it’s not for everyone. This was not an issue for us and the views are astounding! The part I disliked a bit was being with such a large group. You can distance yourself a little bit, but not much, so this definitely doesn’t feel like your typical nature hike. Why you need a guide is beyond me. There are some checkpoints that are necessary, but a guide along the entire route is unnecessary in my opinion. Overall, the company we traveled with, the driver and our organizer were great. The place and hike are incredible, just be ready for the typical crowds.

Wonderful
