Overview
Swap the busy streets of Malaga for the natural landscapes of Caminito del Rey, a path once considered one of the most dangerous trails in the world. Following a reconstruction, this walkway reopened in 2015 and is now safe and accessible to all—its mountain scenery is some of the most stunning in Andalucia. Follow your guide along a route suspended over 328 feet (100 meters) without worrying about getting lost, and cross the canyon on a suspension bridge. Plus, stop in a charming Andalusian town along the way.
- Letting someone else drive you means you can relax
- Listen to facts about the place as you walk through the natural canyons
- Discover more about local geography and culture than you would alone
- Stop at a typical white Andalusian town for coffee or a bathroom break

The walk is spectacular and the drive there gives you a taste of the beautiful countryside and villages of the area.
Pedro the tour organiser was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The guide on the walk was engaging too. I will definitely revisit the area and do this walk again.

This was a wonderful tour. We stopped at a small town on the way to Caminito del Rey - just enough time to wonder down a few streets, get a coffee, and use the bathroom. Then we left for Caminito del Rey. Our guide on the bus was Carlos who was wonderful. Gave us all the information we needed, and answered everyone's questions, but did not overwhelm with too much information. He led us from the parking lot to the official tour and assisted with the guide that Caminito del Rey provided. Both guides were happy to take pictures if requested. Carlos answered our questions and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The hike itself was amazing! We stopped about 2/3 through for snacks (if you brought something with you) and a short rest. At the end we had about 40 minutes for a bathroom break / beer / snacks / souvenir shopping before getting back on the bus. Everything was as described. Absolutely fantastic time, highly recommend!

Very well organized tour. We were a large group of about 50 but once we arrived at Caminito del Rey we were split up into groups of 26 for our hike. Our guide Maria (Maiky) was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and her sense of humour kept us entertained.
The walk itself was very manageable and we felt safe at all times. We recommend this tour.

It was fabulous! The guides were patient, knowledgeable and informative. Bus ride was very comfortable, temp controlled. 1 km hike before and after was surprising long and difficult. However, at age 78 I felt very proud of myself Thank you

Very gorgeous views and worth doing despite a fear of heights. As other reviews have said, you don’t need to be overly fit. However, you should be able to withstand 2 hours worth of walking. The guide went at a very steady pace and we had a couple of rest breaks. Bathrooms are at the start of the walk and at the end!

This trip was one of the best I've been on. The tour guide was lovely and so was the guide in the bus (Laura). Our bus driver was also really good. He drive so gently that we didn't feel any harsh movements. It was such a comfortable ride.
I would definitely do this trip again.
There is not much elevation, so it's very doable.

The tour leaves right from outside the entrance to Malaga City Hall and in about 45 minutes you are already enjoying being in the white village of Ardales where you can have a quick meal or just walk around the cosy streets.
Caminito del Rey hike itself is just stunning, especially with the weather I had.
Highly recommended!

Great experience, everything went smoothly from start till the end. I am a person scared of heights so for me it was quite big experience but overall Caminito looks really really safe. All Guides were nice and communicate really well with participant's. The views were extraordinary and I recommend everyone who visits Andalusia to go to Caminito del Rey.

Experience of a life time a must do. The beauty of the mountains and its deep gorges are breathtaking and walking that high up along the side of the mountain gives you an excellent view of every thing.
The park guide did very good job explaining the history of the park and pointing out best views She was very tentative to the people who nervous about the hike and helped them get through the scary parts .
Pablo our guide on the bus also did a excellent job explaining about the hike and the tour of the white village.

Carmen_V, Mar 2026
Caminito del rey is an amazing place to visit. Our trip was very well organised. Our guide kept well informed. She gave us enough time in every stop, no rushing. Coach was clean and comfortable. Perhaps the only thing to improve, it's the breakfast/ bar stop in the village. A different establishment with more toilets and better quality coffe / food.
