What are people saying about Malaga

Cordoba is worth a day while on vacation in Malaga
This tour was a last-minute thing after our Morocco guide no call no showed. At first, I was not sure about our bus guide, but he grew on us. And while in the Mosque/Cathedral, we had an Italian/Spanish guide - she was awesome. We really enjoyed our free time in the Jewish quarter also, but I would caution you about the "chicharron" which usually is deep-fried, crunchy, fatty, and made to go with beer. But in Andalucia, "chicharron" is something totally different. The other food offerings were excellent. Glad we were able to salvage the day and see this city.

Breathtaking scenery
Our guide, Esmeralda, was excellent. Knowledgeable, good English, kept checking throughout we were walking at an acceptable pace, regular reminders to drink lots of water and apply sunscreen. The walk through the gorges was stunning. Pictures dont do it justice. Breathtaking scenery. I'd definitely recommend it. But...you need to be fit enough for about 5 mile hike, on uneven paths with lots of stairs - and it was 32⁰C the day we went. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Memorable experience
Caminito del Rey is a must-do when you're visiting Málaga! What an adventurous, WOW-worthy experience! The hike takes you through an incredible canyon with breathtaking views, suspended walkways, and even mountain goats along the way. We're so glad we chose to do this tour. If you're visiting during the summer (June through August), we highly recommend booking the 4:00 p.m. tour, as the sun isn't beating down on you as much. To top it all off, our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared the fascinating history of Caminito del Rey throughout the hike. It made the experience even more memorable!

Lovely trip. Coordinated...
Lovely trip. Coordinated very well by Monica our guide. Left on time and timings were well managed throughout the trip. Good balance of guide activity versus free time, very informative where required and the right amount of time spent at both villages.

Malaga is full of attractions, from museums to castles to markets. But this city in the south of Spain is also a gateway to highlights of the region and beyond. Tear yourself away from Malaga to explore options for day trips including journeys to Seville, Granada, and Cordoba. Some Malaga day trips also venture beyond the border of Spain to destinations including Tangier in Morocco and Gibraltar. Most day trips include convenient round-trip transportation from Malaga.
