What an incredible day! Janet was an amazing guide and made the day wonderful. Great history, explanation and attention to detail. My husband and zi missed the tour bus pickup, which was totally our fault due to cruise ship not docking in time. Janet provided very specific instructions on how and when to meet her so we could connect with our tour. She was amazing and stayed in touch. We so appreciate her helping us make this trip happen!

Pickup location gets confusing with so many different tour picking up there. Once at location guide leads you to entry of the park then park guide walk you through which was excellent. The tour is more brisk paced so people with some difficulties walking fast and climbing some stairs this may not be for you. Took about 2.5 hrs to walk. Doing it solo at your leisure may be doable.

The views are amazing. Learning more about that area was very insightful into the past. The walk is not vigorous, but I would say there are challenging parts. More with footing not with elevation. Make sure you wear comfortable good shoes. Watch out for the narrow stairs. This was so worth the money, pictures do not do it justice. One thing that it’s not listed on the booking is that you will stop in a little village for lunch after your hike?

Be prepared for rigorous walking up and down including steps and heights. The views are spectacular and a must see. There is a little confusion with pick up since the bus comes from other locations and is not necessarily on time. There are multiple busses picking up at the same location so it took a while to find ours. Once on the bus and the tour started it was great.

The bus tour guide was Janet was great. Funny lady. The Caminito del Rey itself was amazing. But, the audio system they gave to use for the guided walk was horrible. So much static you couldn’t understand the guide. The tour guide on the walk was nice but fix the audio system or give out a pamphlet people can read.

We were with Niko the English guide in our caminito. He is amazing and funny. Lots of good to know facts and humor. It was fun walking did not realize time went by so quick. My only recommendation is for our bus to have the name of the guide and bus driver so we wont get lost.

Fantastic experience. The bus took us to/from central Malaga, and during the trips our guide Janet was great. For the duration of the cliff walk hike we had a local guide who was also excellent. The hike is very safe and we had a great time, though if you do this hike in summer, it is very hot, so take water and sunscreen!

I may be the wrong type person to review this tour because I prefer an untamed trail but for someone else that doesn't live in a mountainous area and not a seasoned hiker, this tour is perfect. The trail is well kept, boarded and an easy stroll. There are some steps but anyone with good mobility and a little endurance, would enjoy this hike. More of a stroll verses a hike. Beautiful canyon and waterfalls.

Great experience, coach from central Malaga and Janet provided useful information on the coach and also acted as supporting Guide on the walk, with a local `guide also provided. Definitely a challenging walk, but enjoyable!

This was a wonderful experience, Janet our trip guide from Malaga to El Caminito was very informative. Stefano, our hike guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Stefano kept the group interested with providing detailed information about flora and fauna, animals and fossils in the region and the archaeological details. The hike itself is easy to mildly moderate in few places but definitely recommend this activity and our guide Stefano.

I have tried Viator tour before and that is why I tried it again. The experience at the park itself Caminito del rey was wonderful . Our guide was patient and informative . However, the Viator tour guide was disappointing. Not enthusiastic at all . It was an hour drive going to the park and I guess since it’s early in morning , the guide was not as excited as me.

Great trip which was really well organised. The tour guide in the walk was great and really interesting and you was able to take the hike at your own pace. I would say that the meeting point to get on the coach could be made clearer. You need to head to where there’s multiple buses parked on the side of the main road and ask each one where he’s going.

Good experience overall. There is no company representative or any sign at the departure point in Malaga, so it can be a little confusing when waiting for the tour bus to arrive. A few of us were asking around to make sure we were in the correct location. Our guide was nice and friendly, but was repeating all information in Spanish, French and English. The French portion was lacking detail compared to the English. The bus stopped to pick up passengers 2 times before we headed to the Caminito del Rey. There wasn't any tour really on the road, until 5 minutes before arrival. Upon arrival, things were well organized and we were split into smaller groups by language for the guided tour on site. The guide we had on site was nice, but not overly generous with the information (possibly due to language barriers). At some points, it felt like we were moving too fast through the Caminito. The site itself is worth visiting though and is quite beautiful and interesting. Once we finished, there were a few food and beverage stalls near the bathrooms along with picnic tables. The journey back to Malaga was pretty quick. Overall, a good experience, but nothing outstanding.

We had to sit in back of bus and the microphone did not work well and we did not hear the English description I thought I would catch up with guide to ask questions but she handed us off to another guide and was gone. We could not find the bus to get home. Everyone we asked said we had to take a train back to Malaga and there was no bus We took the train that was 2 hours later

They were the only customers who stayed there, after the rest of the bus had been waiting for them for 15 minutes more than the agreed time.
