It was a truly excellent experience! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a lovely time travelling along the coast, exploring the little caves, and seeing some of the local wildlife, all with a beautiful view of the oldest part of Madeira island! At the end we even had a bit of time to take a swim in the crystal clear waters of the beach where our kayak trip began (to cool off) :) All in all, one of my favorite activities on Madeira- highly recommended!

Nice kayaking experience but the rest around it didn't seem well thought out

The kayak excursion was nice but unfortunately we were quite a big group, almost 20 people, and the whole time I felt like the outline of the activity wasn't well explained and they were passing us on form one "person in charge" to another (in the office, on the boat, whilst the kayak, and back on the boat). First they took us on a bigger boat, this much is said, but we took all our things with us and left them in a shed on the site and had to quickly get ready to start with the kayaking. It's also a bit confusing as some people on the boat are a part of the excursion while others merely take the transportation instead of walking to the end point. When we started the kayaking experience, the monitor was very helpful with the kayaks and even took pics during the tour since we couldn't really take any of our stuff with us. We rowed for about 2h, listened to some interesting facts and had a break for some swimming and snorkeling, but when we came back to the shed to get our stuff we then had to make time for about 1h until the boat took us back to the meeting place. I would have loved to maybe walk the way back or would have taken different things/shoes with, having known how the whole activity looked like.

We started from the marina with speedboat transfer to the kayaking bay. We got life vests, scuba equipment. Our tourguide - born local - knew every corner of the island, we made a nice tour, few stops for photos or interesting things to see. He made photos of us while being on water. We stopped snorkeling too. Our guide moved the kayaks to shore and was very helpful and friendly. We could change our clothes before returning with the speedboat. During backway we had few stops and the boat guide showed us Elephant rocks, pigeon cave and so on. We even got nice branded water bottles as souvenirs. High level service and nice people.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and very safe. We didn’t know that the tour could also include snorkeling for the same price. We were able to stop, swim and snorkel. Overall an amazing experience.

The kayaking is not recommended. The start was good as we were pointed in the right direction by one of the employees. After that, we were told to wait outside for the boat. We would get notified when we had to embark, but this didn't happen. When a lot of other tourists entered a boat, we ran over there to ask if this was our boat too. It was our boat, but we were just in time. When we arrived at the kayaks an employee started telling us that we had to hurry, because his colleagues were waiting for us. We had no idea what was going on, but we obeyed and hurried into our life vests and into the boat. We couldn't take any of our personal items with us, which was worrying as we had our phones and wallet with us. The employee told us that he'd put them away, but when we were 100m from the beach, our things were still lying on the beach out in the open. The employee was nowhere near it and clearly wasn't watching is. We were told at the office that we could take our belongings with us in a waterproof box, but this clearly wasn't the case. When we arrived at his colleagues, they were in no hurry at all as we had to wait for the rest of the group to stop snorkeling. Then followed a journey of 45 mins across some beautiful scenery. The guide told some things about it, but it was not very elaborate. We then returned to the beach and were told that we could go snorkeling. We didn't expect that, but accepted the offer. After that, we took the boat back to the harbour. That was the best piece of the trip as the captain of the boat sailed past some beautiful rocks. We even went into a cave and we were given some nice info about it. The experience was below-average. There didn't seem to be any coordination and the kayaking was not that impressive. The scenery was beautiful, but that didn't justify the pricetag of €41 euros per person. We wouldn't recommend this.

It started 40mins late, we were only advised whilst en route to the meeting point that the start time was now 10.30 and not 9.50am. We waited 40mins and only when we got on to the rib whilst moving did they ask to see our confirmation email. The internet was slow whilst at sea and on a fast rib wasn’t the right time to ask. We had been waiting 40mins Before with staff around and at no point did they think to ask to see our ticket when on land. We were not briefed about the day ahead nor the time of when to come back. We were dropped at a beautiful bay, but no one briefed us on who to meet for the Kayake experience. The whole thing was a complete joke run by such a slack and unprofessional team. They were more interested in giving their friends and family a free ride on the rib. We paid £74 for 2. May I add we did not go kayaking aswell. the 5 mins rib trip is shared between locals getting to this bay for 5 euro. The Kayake was also 5euro when you get there. It said it included snacks but no snacks were offered. I’m glad we seen the bay That was a plus. Just wish we had simply booked the rib To the bay and Paid for the Kayake When we got there. There is no tour guide to do a kayake tour which is what I thought it would be. We had to laugh in the end because the whole thing was so unprofessional and missing leading. If you are the owner reading this I would highly recommend you review this trip and your staff.

No pudimos hacer apenas nada porque mi acompañante se mareó,Los monitores ni cuenta se dieron y Los que estaban en tierra no ayudaron en nada,NO SE DIERON EXPLICACIONES DE NINGÚN TIPO,NO SABÍAMOS SI ALGUIEN NOS ACOMPAÑABA. Al menos,uno de ellos bajó de la sombrilla donde estaban y nos propuso ir con el barco a ver el faro. Los monitores del barco sí son muy competentes y agradables.
