Wonderful experience and very easy for our 3 children. The wall is wide and perfect for cycling on. We had to swap to a buggy as our youngest broke her arm 2 days before but it was easy to organise!

Cycling the wall was an unforgettable experience and the assistance at the shop was efficient and friendly. Using the bikes to then move about the city made it easy to get to different sites. We locked up the bikes at different points to stroll about.

The bike rental was great! Biking on the city walls was a wonderful experience. The city of Lucca itself was not all that biker friendly in my opinion. But biking, like driving, in Italy is a whole different game!! Beware of Comic Con schedule … thankfully we were visited weeks before the event, however; the huge white plastic structure in the middle of town dynamically changes the ambience. The many around other tents around town were not as distracting.

Beautiful city with lots of green space. The bikes were in great shape and had big baskets for our packs and little map holders to make stopping and looking at it very convenient.

We had a beautiful day riding bikes on top of the wall in Lucca! An easy ride, the beautiful scenery outside the wall and the unique old city inside the wall. Bikes were right outside the train station, easy pick up and drop off. We had a map of all the sights, a lock to lock our bikes and a very enjoyable time. We would do this again!

We were given a bike with a flip map on the handlebars and a separate book explaining what everything was. We were expecting something that we could check without having to stop. The bike was excellent, so save yourself some money and just rent the bike.

I'm very sorry you don't read the description of the services before booking them, because this service is described just like it is and as you wrote it is, renting a bike with a flip map and an additional map. Of course you have to stop to read additional information for the safety of other people in Lucca. The bike is excellent as you wrote, the tour is as described, so the 3 stars are for you not reading descriptions before booking?

Biking around Lucca was such a blast! We had a group of 8 with our whole family together, and everyone had a great time. Riding along the wall path under the trees was a highlight for sure. And then riding into town down all the little cobblestone streets was super fun. Definitely recommend exploring Lucca by bike, it’s the best way to see this amazing little town!

The ability to see so much more of the city in less time. I have hip issues which limits the amount of walking I can do, but renting the bikes allowed us to spend the entire city inside and outside the walls. Riding on the beautiful walls was a memorable experience.

We loved our day biking around Lucca. It was so relaxing and enjoyable and a fun way to see the beautiful city. We took the train from Florence and were pleased how close to the station and & how easy the bike pick up was. Starting the tour was just a short distance away across the street, and the self guided maps on the bike handles made it so user friendly.
