If I could give this crew ten stars I would! My only con was getting there! It’s quite a hike around the entire pier to the opposite side of where the cruise ship tenders take you, and unfortunately we made the choice to take a water taxi but then got double charged to just get of the taxi and walk on the 5feet of dock to the sidewalk! Such a scam!! So do the walk!!! This crew was on time, the drinks were well stocked! The crew was friendly, fun, informative, and helpful. We had the best day ! We went Feb 21, 2026, and even though we honestly saw more whales from our cruise ship , we did see a few. Not as many as our friends on another excursion the same day saw, so that was a small bummer but not a fault of this crew. They offered a small sandwich lunch and that was good, and the bathroom was clean. I honestly would pay to do this every time! It was just a fantastic day!

We had a wonderful time with David and the driver. They were wonderfully accommodating - bringing us delicious breakfast rolls and juices, and later burritos and a final toast of tequila. David was always ready and willing to take our pictures and video when he saw us trying on our own. We were told they would do their best to find where the whales are, but you can never guarantee seeing them. We were thankful to have seen them on our ride, and we were glad to see all the boats were respectful to the wales and not chasing too close or bothering in any way. *Note to those coming from a cruise. Be aware there is a time zone difference between the cruise time and Cabo. We almost didn’t make it in time to board the catamaran in the morning.

A perfect two hours. El Arco to take pictures. The crew saw whales a few minutes later. We followed a pair of humpbacks at a respectful distance for over an hour, then turned back towards the harbor. Drinks and snacks were good, the service was great and the captain provided interesting information in teo languages without talking to much. A really great tour for a great price. 5 1/2 stars!

Terrible customer service

Finding location was terrible. Called they stated they would wait 5 min. Then told Viator they waited 10. Completely lied spoke to workers on dock and they left on time. Spoke to Viator sent them proof that the vendor lied but they were no help. Was in the phone for an hour starting at 9:04. Customer service is terrible. Will take issue with all social and review platforms.

Loved this excursion. It was the perfect duration, there was plenty of room on the catamaran and the 2 guys running it were great - super low key but knew what they were doing. We saw plenty of whales and enjoyed the snacks and drinks. Really good value for money. Can highly recommend.

Breaking whale watching protocol

This is not a trip for conservation or any others we saw in lucas. 20 boats around one whale , harassed and exhausted. The boat does have a sail and was driven without someone for some of the journey. We found out that only 4 boats should be around one whale and a distance away.. The poor whales had to rise to breather amongst boats , some still running.

No Frills, Whale-Seeking Adventure

If you're looking for a no-frills whale-seeking adventure, this is a great 2 hour excursion (9am-11am, daily). The catamaran had different areas for hanging out, whether you want to be up front or hanging back, the deck is shaded and the ride is smooth. Tasty burritos, coffee and pastries were available. We had many opportunities to see the humpback whales and were even treated to a tail splash by one of them.

A must see when in Cabo.

What an awesome experience. Our crew treated us to breathtaking views, excellent service and a lifetime of memories with the whales. Our captain knew where to navigate so we had the best views. Meeting spot directions were clear. We left and arrived right on time. We had great weather. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and served free burritos and non-alcoholic drinks! The boat was a catamaran. A good size and smooth, and there were only about 15 people on it today, so I had tons of room to move around freely and get the best angles. I didn't really get wet, just a couple light splashes up to my ankles. Saw a couple sea lions as we took off, plus lots of pelicans and some other birds. We stopped near the arches to take some beautiful photos... then continued and saw plenty of whales! Most just surface slightly to blow, but one juvenile whale was especially active, doing several jumps and breaches! I got incredible photos and videos of it going fully airborne! I met another Canadian family on board and had some great conversations too.

Tour started on time and instructions were clear. The folks running the tour were helpful and attentive. We had a relaxed time and there was plenty of space to sit or walk around (no crowding). We spotted some humpback whales pretty close and got nice pictures at the arch. There were some snacks and drinks onboard.

Great simple tour

I was a bit apprehensive due to the inconsistent reviews however, my family had a great time. It was a very basic tour. Some information about the whales would have been nice however you get what you pay for. The boat was not crowded, it was clean and the staff were very nice.

No tour- Catamaran princesa was not good

We were going to do the tour with Catamaran Princesa, my daughter had a medical emergency that morning and we arrived 5 minutes late to the pier. We called catamarán princesa and we under the policy, yet what i don’t understand is the company being so rude and no human empathy, when i tried to describe what happened to us why we were 5 min late the manager or owner was very mean and hang up the phone on us. i called again and gad the same response- very rude - don’t do any tours with this company

The crew was great at finding the whales. We saw several mama’s and babies. They were also helpful with taking pictures and provided some nice breakfast burritos. The boat is big enough for a smooth ride and plenty of room. Definitely recommend!

Experience was great. We went with a small group so we could move around the boat. They provided snacks and beverages which was great for the kids. Whale sightings are only as good as the whales want it to be but we we’re still able to see many of them. Overall we all enjoyed it very much.
