The perfect day!

This was a super fun first experience snorkeling for my 14 year old son. The driver, boat captain, and snorkel guide were a great team. We were well taken care of and the lunch spot was a fun local spot with great food. We had 3 snorkel spots from the boat. Highlight of snorkeling was the crazy big school of Jack fish! A very memorable day! A big thumbs up!

Cabo Pulmo is a must.

Gil the driver was great. Jose as the snorkeling guide was wonderful and the captain was superb. The fish were wonderful! The school of Jack Tuna was awesome. Definitely recommend it.

It's worth it

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The snorkeling was great. The bumpy ride was worth it. If you want white glove, it's not for you. If you want an adventure worth having, book it.

Great snorkeling spot but watch the weather

This would have been five stars if I was just rating the driver, Gil, and Charlie and his snorkeling crew. But as I’m reviewing our experience it is lower because the water was cold and it was very windy causing big waves. After snorkeling the first reef which was fantastic for the number and different fish we saw. We went to see the sea lion colony and that was most entertaining. But the boat ride to the second reef was very bouncy and my granddaughter started to feel sick and we decided to forgo that last snorkel. Obviously the weather is not under the control of the guides, but it did serve to remind us to check out that information before going again. Which we certainly want to do. I can’t say enough good things about Gil and Charlie. They were both helpful, experienced, and really nice people

Tell ‘em you want to stay on the reef!

Great trip! The village of Cabo Pulmo is a fantastic little seaside jumping off spot where the dive boats launch directly off the beach. Three dive spots include a reef dive, a dive into a school consisting of thousands of large bigeye jack, and a dive adjacent to a sea lion haul-out rock, where you get up close and personal with the animals. One adult male swam right up to me and stared into my mask from about six inches away. The reef dive was the best of the three. We could have spent the whole day floating over the coral and the multitude of colorful reef fish. The time we were allowed was too short and I would have gladly skipped the other two dives to stay on the reef. Be advised: they make you wear a life vest and that really detracts from the freedom that normally comes with snorkeling. They say it’s a rule designed to keep people from touching the coral, but that’s foolish because you are allowed to scuba dive the reef as well. I expect it’s more about liability. Keep the vest and let me stay on the reef and I would have given the trip a five. Still a good family event, albeit a long drive to and from the hotels in Los Cabos.
