Not a lot of value added by the tour company. If I come back to Cardiff again )with my wife), I think we’ll simply take the train (which is much faster) and simply walk about on our own. Cardiff is a lovely town, I’m not sure that the tour was worth $138.

We were stuck on the return trip due to the traffic diversion of M4. This was supposed to be known to Londoners but not tourists. This was however not the worst. At somewhere near Reading, the driver suddenly parked the coach at the roadside of a highway, telling all passengers that his legal driving hours had finished. This happened at 10:00pm though we were originally scheduled to come back to London by 8:30pm. We were asked to wait for another driver to come but till 10:45pm, the driver could not tell passengers when the next driver would come. By then, passengers were kept for more than 6 hours without even an option for toilet. Finally, a passenger managed to get a uber and took a total of four passengers back to London after mid-night only to find that his legitimate claim for the uber fares being denied by Anderson Travel.

Thank you for the feedback. Please be advised that it is illegal for a driver to continue driving after they've run out of the legal driving hours. In fact, this is for the safety of all passengers on board. As you've mentioned this delay was caused by heavy traffic on the way back to London and this is out of our control.
Our transport team worked extremely hard to find another driver to come and ensure you were all returned to London safely.
The few individuals who chose to take uber/taxi back to London did this on their own accord. The driver communicated that there was another driver coming to drive the bus back to London but was unsure of their actual arrival time due to traffic.
This issue can happen in any part of the world if the company you've booked with values your safety.
We commend the driver for stopping to drive and highly appreciate our transport team who sent a rescue driver.

As was warned by other tourists who had been in this tour, it was a long bus ride to and from London/Cardiff. The Tour Guide was in Cardiff and we met him by about 12:00 noon. We were not informed though that the Tour Guide will be in Cardiff therefore we were wondering what to expect since there was nothing going on during the bus ride from 8:15 to 12 noon, we were not sure if the bus driver was also the Tour Guide (just like the other tours we had where the tour guide was also the driver) but the bus driver was not saying anything during the ride, thus we were like “are we doing the tour on our own? Are we to explore Cardiff by ourselves?” We were just happy to meet the Tour Guide by mid-day, he did his best to share information about the important places in Cardiff. This tour is 2/3 of the time just sitting (eating or sleeping) on the bus and 1/3 actual tour of Cardiff, due to the distance between London and Cardiff. I was just interested to see a part of Wales even for a short time so I booked this trip (at least one checked-off from my bucket list). Many thanks to the driver who drove us to and from Cardiff safely and thanks to the Tour Guide ( sorry, I forgot his name) as well.

Our guide was delightful and the van we rode in was comfortable. I just want to warn people it's a long drive there and a long drive back. So most of your day is in the bus. The few stops we did were nice and I felt we had enough time at each. I do wish the Cardiff Castle had more to do or that we could get more time to check out the surrounding town.

Our driver (Ricardo if not mistaken) and tour guide were both very informative and cheerful. We were aware that it was a long ride (~3hrs one way depending on the traffic) but we had enough time to visit the historical spots and city center also grab a bite and enjoy a drink. Organization wise it was well thought-out and there were absolutely no issues.

Cardiff is a lovely place and although my friend and I enjoyed the day trip we thought that one day wasn't quite enough to see everything. Welch people are very friendly. The driver and the tour guide were amazing and made out day trip very special.

We wasted time in London reached Cardiff around 12:30Pm. We part time guide available for only 40% 0f the time at Cardiff.

We were looking forward to going, but were disappointed that the bus driver didn’t point out anything (we saw Windsor Castle in the distance.) So there is no tour guide for the 2.5 hour trip there and back (longer back due to traffic.) Our guide was pompous and did not seem to enjoy getting asked questions. He was irritated as it was the same day as the Cheese Festival and so there were big crowds. He was so happy to be done with us—only toured on the bus briefly and then did his shopping in Cardiff; only gave us a quick tour of the castle and we were on our own—maybe that’s the way it was set up, but if he weren’t so irritated, it would have been better. Cardiff has some cute shops and the castle was cool, but better to do Stonehenge or Windsor Castle, which I’ve also done.

Good trip though a fairly long bus ride. Driver made excellent time, and the tour guide waiting for us was very knowledgeable. Had enough time to go through Cardiff castle after the bus tour of Cardigg itself. The Caerphilly Castle ruins are quite impressive.

The driver took us in the wrong direction all the way to Wolverhampton for the service stuff, and we arrived at Cardiff at around 2:30-2:45 ish instead of 11:45.We only had 30 minutes in the Caerphilly castle and then only got to spend about 1 hr in Cardiff for exploring which was hardly any time. The Caerphilly castle was really impressive. I didnt even get a chance to go inside the Cardiff castle due to time. So we had about 1.5 hrs in Wales total. Cardiff was also very touristy so I was not impressed. Do not go on this trip unless you have not been to many parts of the UK. The rest of my trip was on the bus. I did not pay 56 pounds to ride the bus for 8-9 hours. I probably spent about 12 hours commuting that day. It was just disappointing.

That was an amazing trip from the beginning to the end! the guide was informative and amazing ...knew and answer all the questions. i was out of breath from the adventure and views of the Castle and its history...the shop was great ...the tour of Cardiff well ...be prepare to be wondered and just have an epic time.

This was a fun day, but I was dropped off at a completely different place than I was picked up, which I was not expecting. I ended up lost in the middle of London. Thankfully I found a policeman to help me find my way. The tour guides were very patient with my mobility needs, though. I do wish more time was spent actually in Cardiff, but the trip to Caerphilly castle was fun, too!

The trip is a little long, after all it is another country, but for the value (because there is the castle included) I still think it is better to go by bus than by train.
In Cardiff, enjoy the stop before the castle and take a boat trip through the bay (6€ per Cover). It's very worth it.
The castle is amazing and has a part reserved only for the 2nd war.
The local guide explained a lot of the city, and the driver was super nice.
